- DSP stayed an hour overtime to beat Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (where he only got $16 in tips and stupidly skipped the post-credits scene), and this is his "final thoughts" segment where he gives his review of the game, complete with some toxic insults to TikTok for hurting his feelings because they mocked his gameplay.

Tips-wise the game was doing very poorly and needed chat to hold his hand all the way through every step to the final quest.

He didn’t even play the side content or do any real exploration, so how does he know if it lacks substance? I’ve been playing it nonstop since it came out. He didn’t fight any lynels or gleeoks or explore the depths. The first time I fought a gleeok was terrifying and now I just killed 3 king gleeoks today because I progressed so much in the game that I can take them on. And I still haven’t finished the story yet. I still have a bunch of side quests to do. I’m still upgrading armor. I still haven’t haven’t explored everywhere yet.
He didn’t even have enough bokoblin horns to upgrade the hylian armor once. Bokoblins are everywhere. The skeletal versions spawn on you at night as you wander around. The horns are a 100% drop rate. And he didn’t have 5 of them. That’s how little of this game he played. He avoided nearly everything.
And by the way, he hates Ocarina of Time. His old web forum posts from 2000 were found. He said he hated it. Then he said he hated it during his tier list. He hates Ocarina of Time.
It’s been another fantastic streaming day. Don’t forget that up til now, Phil has said he loved TOTK and that it could potentially be in the running for GOTY

Because he can never admit something bad about him now, it's always ten years in retrospect. The only times he's admitted he was wrong in the moment was the fappening and the scorn beg and both those times it was because he was trying to gain clout from it.

"Everyone needs fast travel now." Dude, the very first Zelda had fast travel, in two forms! One was the whistle/flute, and the other was the hidden passages that brought you to four different spots. The only Zelda I can think of that does not have fast travel is the Adventure of Link. I haven't played all of the Zelda games, so I may be wrong if another does not have fast travel.
They all have fast travel in one form or another.
Ocarina of Time was slightly more complex, since each location had its own song to memorize, but yeah.

Adventure of Link had unlockable shortcuts. Not teleporting, but technically a small bit of fast travel. I don't remember needing to backtrack much in that game though.

Nothing wrong with preferring the old style of zelda games. But we all know the real reasons he hates on this game which is that he embarrassed himself playing it, he wanted to finish it sooner for money reasons, and he resents the creative mindset the game encourages because he's a drunk on autopilot playing through these games.
I peeped that comment that said "I didn't enjoy it because of your attitude". And that right there is the essence of phil and all of his playthroughs

It's the perfect combination of the old man yells at cloud meme and the meme of the guy putting the stick in his bike's wheel (i.e. how he did almost everything wrong in the game, at times even on purpose, but still crapped on the game). And he is so lying; he absolutely hated the building puzzles and complained to his chat constantly; he verbatim cried "I don't want to build things, I want to play Zelda"
He cheats every open World and RPG game… that’s why he doesn’t like any of them, but likes when he hits the money goals and some whales drop sub bombs!
thats why Elden Ring was “a great game” because the tips were juicy for the most part

I haven't played TOTK yet but BOTW is an open world Zelda that gives you the freedom to discover and figure things out for yourself without handholding. Games without handholding are not for Phil 😂

Wow, that’s what he thinks of Zelda: ToTK all because he skipped around 60-70% of the game while soiling his diapers and throwing his usual manchild tantrums over being unable to get enough healing items and antidotes to cure status conditions. I am now convinced Phil has the mental age of a 4 year old toddler trapped in the body of a 41 year old Chris Chan lookalike chromosome missing troglodyte. This playthrough is probably tied for worst DSP playthrough alongside Fire Emblem Three Houses, but I shall see once I do the TiHYDP on that playthrough next year.

I watched some of his play through and JFC ... it was just as bad as we all predicted. I mean who would have thought that going into the final boss battles with piss poor weapons/armor, underlevelled in stamina/health and having no consumables - would make this nigh impossible for him to beat without his dents hand holding him (and to be honest, sometimes I think someone else is playing for him in these games but that's just me) ... because suddenly he goes from not being able to do anything to doing it. But yeah for him 0 out of 10 kiss off Phil ... Phillip Burnell is a man and on May 1st he had a thirst that made his pen1s burst.
Yeah it was painful. He was just urgently grinding and literally sprinting to the ending. We troll him no matter what, so from Phil's perspective who always sucks, he would suffer from others crying wolf about that, I think there was a good bit of that here. But it was a pathetic display, no troll.
