Spray mask is some good stuff, I used it for the undercarriage on a lifted Silverado, I was very happy with the results. Saved hours it would have taken to tape up the chassis.
Hi Chris invaluable product for when you can't shoot the whole project at the same time you think of everything. I would have just covered in masking plastic nice one utilising all available products to help you out 👏👏👏
@@Mechaniclyfe as you know a resto takes forever but you've got this Chris aesthetics are well on the way to completion being a master mechanic the mechanical side of things will be a walk in the park 👌👌
Interesting video Chris, I've only seen one other person use it and that was Gabe from Motivated Painters and he always gets comments asking why the car isn't masked so he has to explain time after time why 😂 I need to get some of this as it would be useful in my small booth 🙏👍 John UK.
Kinda funny looking over the "imperfections". Just a tip for anyone looking to use the stuff. Spray it tacky almost dry. Not like a clear coat. It will dry much faster and work just as well. Because it doesn't matter what it looks like.
Whats the max time you can leave this on a painted frame I want to do it on my 1964 impala before it goes into paint and body work or would you recommend another way
It’ doesn’t state a time limit , so I wouldn’t know exactly. I think indefinitely. It is a waterborne product so once you hose it down again it turns back into a liquid state so I think this will be a good product to use for your application
