I’ve used this on a furniture project. I masked a mirror with it and then painted the mirror. It worked like a charm! I also think you could use it in artistic elements as well. Love this stuff!!
20 bucks for a quart is a little pricey. Plus massive shipping cost. I use Plasti-Dip or Rust-o-leum Peel Coat from Walmart for $5 a can. Also, you can leave Wal-mart's on as long as 6 months in the weather. Maybe someone can do a comparison.
In regards the someone’s comment that plasti dip is better and cheaper, that is an incorrect statement. Plasti dip will peel off of some surfaces, but not rough porous surfaces. It may only cost $6 but you also only get a few ounces compared to the quart you get with Peel-Tek. Also plasti dip is solvent based with high VOC’s, Peel-Tek is water based and environmentally responsible. You can also use Peel-Tek to hold your masking paper and plastic in place much better than tape as well
How in the WORLD are you going to get any kind of detail if you have to use a SPRAYED ON mask? That sucks! You need to PAINT this mask on, not spray it on.
I need a masking liquid I can put down, cut lines, shapes or design elements into, peel and then paint the areas which have been exposed while maintaining crisp, concise edges. Can this product accommodate that or is it strictly an imprecise, broad area masking medium?

I want to use it for painting. I hate tape. The paint always ends up going behind the tape. Thanks for the tip 👍
I thought this was a pretty neat idea for cutting in with no bleed thru at all: th-cam.com/video/0cropa5reFk/w-d-xo.html
Clear caulk the blue tape, wipe it...basically frog tape.
Your typically going to have to use a mask to paint the mask, kind of silly, this seems to have very specific use cases
And no link on where to get it? So what's the purpose of the video?
Works on brick too?!
I bet that shit would be a real mess to get off a textured brick or stone.
