- I heard about these Doner Kebab Pot Noodles last week and I was just in Asda and there they were and I wasn't even looking lol anyway they are 75p each and this is what I Think.

I sieved out most of the dust and some peppers and herbs remained..cooked mine on the hob a few minutes and it wasn't bad still had some flavour and tasted like actual food.

Hi Chris, Just come back to this video as it seems like an appropriate place to ask you if you've tried Colemans doner kebab mix. £1.50 at Asda or 4 for £4. Recipe so simple just take 500g of minced lamb add the powder and knead like you would with dough to mix together. Press into a loaf shape, wrap in foil and bang it in the oven for 30minir so. Tastes superb. And you know what's in it. Pure minced lamb. Well worth a go. 👍

I stopped eating pot noodles a while ago as I found they tasted so synthetic. I recommend soba noodles if you want a flavourful pot noodle but then again they’re more expensive so I guess you pay for what you get. Great review!

@@ChrisTheButcher they’re definitely a step up from pot noodle, I’m a fan of the chicken teriyaki one myself but I imagine you would probably go for the chilli haha. They’re currently on offer 2 for £2:50 in Iceland at the moment

I tried pot noodles back in 85 and they were pants.
You're far better off getting a ramen noodle brick, boil it, add some fresh parsley and coriander and then a splash of chili oil. Way more flavour mate and probably cheaper.
Well Chris, that is the second review I've watched on that pot noodle and the second to say how vile it tasted. I wont be rushing out to by that one then. M

Kebab shop by me opens till 1AM Sunday to Thursday
Friday and Saturday kebab shop open till 5am it’s cause the 2 night clubs next to the kebab shop so they make money then timed

As for the lid, I peel them so the tear stops opposite the flap thing so when I put it back over I use the flap as a little lock and tuck it under the rim 😂

@@ChrisTheButcher I used to love pot noodles but stopped eating them years ago and tried them again a few times over last few years and even the old classic beef n tomato are awful now. Dunno if my taste buds have become more picky or which I expect, they're just shit now because no salt etc

I saw these at Asda a couple days ago, and thought there is no way you can make something kebab flavoured and actually taste like kebab. You need ACTUAL strips of kebab meat.

@@sneer0101 You often find meat flavoured crisps just don’t resemble the same taste as the actual meat does. Like roast chicken, you can vaguely associate with chicken, but it’s definitely nothing alike say a chicken dipper.
Gotta admit the speedy chef kebas with some fresh cabbage n n onion n lettuce n garlic n chilli and chuck the pitta bread that comes with em and make a fresh pitta bread...it works for me lol...think they 4 for £3...but I'm half invested in the idea off buying a box off proper lamb doner off the wholesalers n chuck in my freezer think £19 so when I fancy one I can make up a good lol...cheers Chris

I LOVED the old doner pot noodle as a kid. i voted for this to come back in the competition pot noodle had. i haven't tried it yet BUT it must be different because the old doner pot noodle was vegetarian not vegan like the new one. also Unilever the owners of pot noodle are aiming to go full vegan in the future so i am not looking forward to the next design change in pot noodles an early RIP to chicken n mushroom
