I was skeptical but my buddy talked me into it. He loved his. These are super friggin nice belts for edc. Once you get used to the crazy amount of adjsutment you get you will never want to go back to cobra belts or
I wore and still wear the 5.11 Operator Belt as my EDC and there pretty good belts. Been wearing them for the past 4 years and still going strong. They can hold up my Glock 30SF and a spare mag with no issues.
I agree my kore leather holster belt near about 3 years and still wear 2-3 days week for work. So then I got a tactical x2 a few months back and its a real beast. i love it and worn it all over inc the range and hunting trips with an assortment of sidearms small to large and it supports it all perfectly. now i need the new x5 buckle.
I have to admit this Kore Essentials belt is great. Nice and vertically stiff. The buckle is very solid, I was impressed by the efficient engineering. I got the stainless steel X4 that's a classic clean look. Love the ability to quickly adjust how tight the belt is. The click is a solid sound and reassuring that the belt will not loosen. I already recommended the belt to a couple colleagues.
These Kore Essentials belts are phenomenal, would recommend them to anyone. I purchased leather "business casual style" KE belt for my son and fell in love with his. Now I plan on purchasing the same for me. KE has a very nice selection of buckles as well. I certainly recommend this belt system to anyone who EDC's.
I bought a Kore gun belt back in July, and the belt is holding up very well. Awesome for IWB and OWB and very easy to adjust! I recommended it to a friend of mine and he had nothing but good things to say as well.
Got my first Kore gun belts over 5 years ago and still wear it. I just got a there newer tactical belt from them in range green and the upgrades and awesome. Love these damn belts.
I just bought my first gun belt. I was very close to buying the Nexbelt after seeing a good video on them, but then I kept researching and watching more videos, and decided on the Kore. Still waiting for it to arrive, but seems like I made the right choice.
This is a good commercial for Kore gun belts. I'm not sure you covered it but I've been using a Blackhawk Instructors belt carrying an 8 shot 357 (S&W 627) for fun or a Glock 19 for carry for the past 8 years. It's getting worn of course but has never sagged even when carrying a Glock 20 while hunting in Alaska.
As a cop and firearms instructor I use my Kore belt a lot! In the short period of time I've had it, it's exceeded my expectations. I already recommended it to coworkers and I plan on buying at least one more.
Kore Tactical belt used daily. Have two about to ad a third. The new buckles they have have increased the reliability of the belt and I no longer have the belts rip out at the buckle with the leather ones. They have excellent customer service, and as a customer service professional, they are one of the best. My 360 or 365 do not get carried by any other belt
I have the kore leather gun belt and its most comfortable, user friendly, innovative belt Ive had. Makes carrying concealed comfortable but still rugged durable solid belt while maintaining great look. Its my favorite too.
About 3 months ago I retired 4 belts that I used in rotation after I got my Kore Gun Belt. Been used every day since then, carrying an all metal frame pistol with no deformation in the leather at all, It's still arrow straight! The ease of adjustability with the 1/4" increments is AMAZING! It looks & feels great and I have to say is the best belt I have ever owned.
I have 2 Kore belts, a black leather and a brown leather, works for whatever I am wearing. (actually have 3 but my wife stole my first black one so I had to order a new one.)
I've carried a gun as a private citizen since my state got CCW back in 2001. My progression of belts was a Looper standard leather belt, Don Hume double layer gun belt, and finally a Wilderness belt. You are spot on about sizing when it comes to some belts. My first Wilderness was a 5 stitch that was more a trial belt. It was too small. When I got zeroed on on my needs, I ordered two Wilderness CLM belts, with one being an 1.5" belt, and the other being 1.75". The 1.75" belt had been my edc belt since 2011, and it's always done well with a gun hung on it. Sadly though, time has taken it's toll on t he belt. I know I could have sent them the buckle and had them build a new belt off it, but I decided to order two more this year. One is like the first 1.75" belt, but the second is a poly ring belt. I'm stoked as hell for the ring belt. I'm hoping I can keep an undershirt hole free for longer. I looked at all the new belts on the market since my last purchase, but couldn't bring myself to try any. I just went with what I know.
I am Detective and use these Kore gun belts for both suit and tie and plain clothes assignments. The quality, style and durability is the best I have run across so far. The ease of use and fit are outstanding. I am now a Kore customer for life.
Same combo for me! I carry my M&P 2.0 Compact with X300 and 17 round spare magazine fairly comfortably every day. I say fairly because the X300 can dig into my thigh from time to time.
Kore is my favorite too. I have been using an abusing them for over five years straight. I have 3 of them 2 leather and 1 nylon all in black. I can tell you that the track system is amazing and gives you the p perfect fit and I am a big guy. I love that I can adjust the belt while I am walking wiht my glock19 owb rig on. Last year I got there newer version and they have been totally upgraded. The belt is even stiffer gives total support and the buckles are beefier and they added screws so the belt is completely secure.
I like a “regular” leather belt look to wear with jeans so I went with the 1791 belt. Been pretty good so far. That Kore leather belt looks nice and fine adjustment is terrific but the buckle looks like you’re wearing a reversible belt. I’ll have to get over that before I can buy a Kore. Ok, just went to Kore’s web site and the X3 Buckle model looks like it might fit my desires. They formed/disguised the buckle to look like a normal belt buckle in use. I’m sold.
nathan jualin Best belts ever. I ordered a dark brown and a coyote web belt and they are terrific. When we get back into cooler weather I’ll also get the saddle and black versions. Pro tip: also get the belt hanger.
I have Kore belts along with others . One thing you did not mention is that a lot depends on the firearm you care carrying. A mico 9mm for example does not need a Tactical EDC Stiff Belt. The standard belts work perfectly and much more comfortable than the Stiff belts. Do you really need a belt that can hold 8 Pounds? I have other bests that I use for carry of my Micro and other guns. The ratchet system is top and you can get these belts much cheaper and still get good quality.
I got a steel core belt from relentless tactical and love it. Although the end where the holes are have gotten looser over the years it still holds my gun perfectly since I carry right at the 3 o’clock position. I carry a full size Smith and Wesson m&p 45 mostly and a full size Smith and Wesson sd9ve when I’m not and have no problems with sagging at all. Always go for a steel core you won’t regret spending the extra money on it when safety and securing your firearm is such a high priority.
The Klik belt is the best belt by far. Unequaled quality. Best part is the company that makes them. Incredible customer service. They have a lifetime loyal customer. Not many companies like this around.
I agree for OWB carry. But, I have used a lot of those other belts with IWB carry and had no problems. I do like the 1/4" adjustable part. Keep up with the good videos.
I did my research and got a Kore because its the most highly recommended belt everywhere I looked, and now that I have one I see why. Its awesome quality, amazing fit and ability to adjust. It was just what I wanted. Anyone considering it won’t regret it. I was concerned about having to cut the belt with scissors to size it, but it was really easy.
Own a Kore garrison belt and I’m very pleased with it. I wear it daily and use it for uspsa competitions as well. There shipping was surprisingly fast and the quality seems great so far! A great belt!!
I am a full time firearms instructor and I find it important to test gear before I recommend. Thats why I have several kore belts personally and recommend them to all of my students! Great product!
Recently scored a Kore essentials tactical belt and it is very stiff and easy to cut down to size. After verifying that the belt was going to work for my needs I am selling my other EDC Cobra belt.
I wear a mission belt which has the track system and I wouldn’t wear any other belt after I started using it. Soon as you showed the Kore and I saw it has the track system I was sold, thank you for the great review!!
I have been wearing a Kore belt , the black tactical belt everyday for about 4 months and carry a Glock 23 with 2 magazines while working so far has been a great belt and planning to get a leather belt to wear with a suit a quality gun belt makes a world of difference when carrying all day .
I'll be trying the Kore EDC belt after your advice/review. I'd actually seen it in previous online gun-belt quests, but the trackway adjuster gave me pause. After watching your video, I'm gonna get one. I've been through several decent, 1/4"-thick leather belts, but they always wear near the buckle and on the hole where the buckle's prong eventually will stretch and deform the hole; leading to sag. Thanks for the advice, man...I genuinely appreciate it.
I've been using a Daltech SuperBio for EDC goin' on 2 years. Full size, heavy stuff is no problem for extended periods. It's inexpensive & made in USA. (no clicky-clicky though)
Tier 1 ? Just in the market , currently have a Magpul ( passable) but I’m a little ( puffy not fat lol ) than before but Kore is a name I keep hearing and seeing as I navigate. Ty so much for the review… Looks like Kore it is !
I got my Kore belt Saturday, awesome belt, I've gone thru 3 different belts until I found the Kore. I have a couple dress belts that use the ratchet system so I don't think there is a patent on it.
@@SylentONE proper fitting pants will give it more support. I see this a lot, a guy has a good belt wearing a full size 1911 .45 with saggy jeans yeah you're gonna droop cause your belt is doing all the work. Spend some cash on some decent well fitted jeans with plenty of support loops you'll see a difference.
I bought the leather Kore belt. I wear it as my every day belt because it fits and feel great. When I'm carrying I don't feel my gun it holds so firmly. Mine didn't come with the hanger it was extra. I'm fir sure getting the nylon X3 version.
hands down for The KORE ESSENTIALS is the best gun belt ever. But, BIG but most of the great belts are "Sold Out" all the time. Especially tactical X5, X6 Gray, Black, Tan.
My Kore Essentials belt has failed me several times. First the buckle ripped off the belt. I had to cut the belt to get fresh material for the teeth to dig into... That has happened three times. Now that ratchet strip is slipping inside the belt. It's kind of hard to describe, but the strip is sliding away from the buckle end and towards the tail, and now there is a sizable lump where the first ratchet is sitting under material. I simply cannot trust this belt, mainly because the buckle broke off while I was wearing it, three times, meaning my holster was not secure, and I printed insanely bad.
There are 2 other thickness that klic belts offer. The double ply and the triple ply, I ware the double everyday and it holds up glock 19 appendix rig beautifully. Just thought you should know before you go putting them down.
I had a tactical and dress belt from another company. Velcro wore out on the tactical belt (whoever heard of that?), and finish on the dress belt was ruined the first time I drew the belt through the buckle. Did a LOT of research before buying this Kore belt, and have not found anything even remotely negative to comment on. Easy ordering, prompt delivery, and the belt is fantastic. I carry a full size autoloader IWB for EDC, and it's like it disappears on this belt.
I've seen the track system for years, on dress belts not gun belts, I always wanted to try one but havent got around to it yet. Kore has track adjustable leather belts, I might have to get me one.
Bought a Kore belt EDC sending it back and going to the trusty NEXT belt and as far as what he says they are both nice belts but they are the same and am sure the sponsorship helps
I would also recommend any of the beltman options. They have a lot of options to customize for your use. I have their bullhide, horsehide and bison belts, and they have all held up over the years.
I have a pancake holster with 1 5/8 belt loops and can't figure out what pants or belt to use. Most pants have 1.75 or larger loops and most belts are 1.5 or 1.75. Please help
Bigfoot Gun belts. What I use Tucker gun leather gun belts. Heard they are good Relentless tactical belts. Heard they are good. Maybe go over other popular Nockoffs. I see a bunch with that buckle from the first belt you showed.
I've worn leather Kore belts for two years. The gun belts have held up; one of their unreinforced fashion belts fell apart with a year of pretty hard use. The leather gun belt has held up fine through wearing it at the office and dozens of shooting competitions. I really badly scratched up the buckle shooting from the prone, so don't do that! I was trying to practice with my everyday equipment; now I use a separate belt for competition.
As a big guy (giant fat ass), I never liked to CCW OWB. I always used to buy IWB (which is uncomfortable for me and very rarely used) or pocket (my EDC). Due to a recent event, I had to draw my weapon from my pocket. The pocket draw went fine, but in hindsight, I decided I needed to carry more gun. I just picked up an Urban Carry Lock Leather OWB holster and one of their leather gun belts. I am amazed at how rigid the gun belt is. It is a thick, single piece of American made leather and holds my holster upright against my body even when sitting. Their #207 holster fits 6 of my 7 full-size pistols so I don't need to buy a holster for each specific gun and they lock in better than Kydex with their very cool retention system. I'm checking out the Kore woven belt for a 2nd option.
Great video, I've been using my Kore belt for a year now, looks exactly like what you showed. Tan nylon with the Gen 4 buckle. No retention screws. It has pulled loose, from the buckle, about 4 times, where the belt clamp tore and I had ton recut and then reclamp......shrinks it down but by bit, but I still love it, and use it everyday from work. I feel bad for my other belts in my closet that never see the light of day anymore.
Sorry sounds defective. Contact Support@KoreEssentials.com and they will ship you a new buckle. Newer buckles have the retention screws and teeth. Thanks.
You have the wrong version of the Klik Belt. That looks like the 1-ply "General Duty" belt. Try the 2-ply "Tactical" or 1.75 inch "Duty" belts from Klik. Much more rigid. Those are what I use and are the best I've had. That KORE belt looks great, though. :)
Nice belt, but man I'll tell you that ratcheting inline type belt has been around for at least 18 years. I got a sting ray dress belt with hidden cash pocket with the inline ratchet track when I was in Thailand while I was active duty in Marines back in 2002. It's not Kore's exclusive idea been around a LONG time
I'd really love a kore belt but I'm allergic to nickel so I cant wear any of their gun belts. They make titanium buckles for their fashion belts but not for their gun belts. That's a real bummer.
I have a buckle b4 the set screws. Twice it has popped off the belt. Makes me second guess but thats probably why they put the set screws. Other than that the belt is great.
If you got a belly, your belly when bending or just walking can press the lever and release the track. Also trying to use the belt for multiple purposes is a little difficult. You want EDC IWB carry, then you need it a little longer. Most say 3-4 inches. Want to wear the belt without the IWB and go OWB carry and you cant because the track is only so long. You need extra length for IWB and no extra length for OWB. Pretty expensive belt for only single use. Doesn't work for me.
Check out Viking Tactics for a great EDC Belt. Do you sell Kore Essential belts, it sounds like it to me that this wasn’t a review it was a sales pitch. My Viking Tactical belt is very stiff and has served me well for the past eight years.

I carry a full size autoloader IWB for EDC, and it's like it disappears on this belt.
I've seen the track system for years, on dress belts not gun belts, I always wanted to try one but havent got around to it yet. Kore has track adjustable leather belts, I might have to get me one.
I want a piece of spring steel with lag bolts as a belt. I need a lot of rigidity for my .22 pistol and my Leatherman squirt.
I haven’t owned a ratcheting belt where the ratchet system hasn’t broken within 6 months. Will these ones hold up a while longer?
Thanks for the info, I knew I could get a reliable answer on your channel 👍
I have a pancake holster with 1 5/8 belt loops and can't figure out what pants or belt to use. Most pants have 1.75 or larger loops and most belts are 1.5 or 1.75. Please help
mine is a special operations equipment edc belt in my opinion best belt you can get for your money I also have a soe duty belt too but it's not edc
Big fan of the Aegis & Crossbreed Leather.
I like mi my kore gun belt, but for my p320 compact, i defintely needed something stronger. So I edc a magpul ol tejas.
Thanks for doing this video. Perfect timing!
Perfect timing!!!!! Im in the marker for one!
Bigfoot Gun belts. What I use
Tucker gun leather gun belts. Heard they are good
Relentless tactical belts.
Got one on the occasion I wear a suit
I own a 5.11 Sierra Bravo Tactical Duty Belt Plus 2.25" and it's awesome .....
Thanks.
What about Groove Life belt?
Great videos man really good content in this one glad I came across while searching
It's not Kore's exclusive idea been around a LONG time
Been using the Blue Alpha Gear Cobra Hybrid edc for awhile ... love it.. 😎
thanks for the recommendation just bought mine
I'd really love a kore belt but I'm allergic to nickel so I cant wear any of their gun belts. They make titanium buckles for their fashion belts but not for their gun belts. That's a real bummer.
Where are they made? Just picked up a Vedder, made in U.S.A.
Kore is made in China.
Vedder, cobra buckle thats small enough to fit in your belt loops and is super stiff.
Awesome awesome awesome. I own 3 Kore belts and i love them all
What is the watch your wearing ?
After doing a lot of research on EDC belts, the Kore Essentials seem to be the best. I would love to find a cheaper copy of one. Any suggestions?
I TRIPLE CHECK MY GUN JUST LIKE THAT. I LOVE IT!
Not sure you can make a better belt than the kore brand they do a bang up job as far as I am concerned.
What about budget options for $20-$50. Core is EXPENSIVE.
My Galco leather gun belt has stood me in good stead for 25 years now.
