Great review man. This is the first longer form review I've seen on TH-cam. Thank you! It truly is made for ultimate comfort. Just to comment on the price point, this belt is produced and manufactured in the United States by local businesses. It could be similarly priced to the common EDC belts on the market but I will not outsource this to China or any other foregin country. I want the people in our communities to grow and prosper.
Glad you enjoyed the review, you designed a phenomenal belt. Thank you for shedding some light on the pricepoint. That was my assumption, but it's good to know for sure. If you check out my Holosun EPS Carry review, you will learn how I feel about Chinese outsourcing vs supporting American manufacturing. I will always pay a little more to support Pro-2A American businesses who make quality products.
Good for you for supporting USA manufacturing, Bro! I don't own this yet, but it looks fantastic and I will have ASAP. Much appreciation for your efforts!
I have to say whenever I'm searching for my gun related things, I always end up at your channel getting a lot from information. I think your channel helps beginners in my situation who are lost and looking for answers!
The key that I think a lot of people don’t realize with the Kore belt is you skip a belt loop over and you put that buckle off to the side. It would never be centered because that’s exactly where your clip would go for your holster when you apendix carry. It doesn’t print that way and it’s more comfortable.
I ordered 2 pair of the arrowhead tactical sweatpants with the integrated belt. I received this belt in the mail first and wish I never considered the arrowheads sweats. Now I have to wait to receive them so I can start the return. The Hunter Constantine belt is amazing. Thanks for spreading the word!
This belt is awesome. I actually use this as a similar way to the Phlster enigma inside the waistband appendix on patrol for my backup gun and if I wear shorts or sweatpants as well. Unlike the enigma, this allows multiple firearms to be carried and isnt dependent on one particular firearm holster connected to the enigma portion. Along with utilizing concealed carry principles and using foam wedges, this makes it my go to. It’s easy on, easy off and comfortable to carry
After watching your review, I purchased a Hunter Constantine belt and I was not disappointed. I own several Enigma's and while I still like them but I love that I can use my holsters with the Hunter Constantine. This belt works with everyone of my favorite holsters so it gives me more options. Thanks for sharing!
I’m interested to see how it holds up, too. It seems like people who have been running the OG Hunter Constantine belt have great things to say about longevity. So we’ll see 👍
Really nice review!! Exactly what I needed to know before purchasing. Just ordered my fourth and fifth T1C holsters not knowing about this belt. Back to the ordering...
Excellent that you actually showed it being worn, many belt reviewers do not and its annoying. This is probably the best for cc but for other gear no substitute for Kore....🇺🇸✊
I came here to learn about the belt, but now I’m interested to learn more about how you conceal. I’m 6’0” and 150 lbs. and my G43x with an Enigma belt does not conceal well at all, yet you manage to carry a larger gun. I’ll check out more of your videos. 👍🏻
I tried the Enigma for a year. It is a well made system… it was just to much daily work for me and it wasn’t the best concealment-wise. Welcome to the channel, have a look around 😅👍
I am one day in with this belt, and I couldn't be more happy! Crazy how comfortable it is when driving/sitting! Time will tell if the elastic holds up, but so far super stoked!!!
@@swiftaudi I love this belt, and have been wearing it daily! However, the loops (3) that the hook attaches to are coming apart. We bought our budy at the range the Constantine version, which has only two loops at the hook attachment, and his seems to be holding up better than mine.
Great review! I also had the same thought process as you as I was using a Nexbelt and it is extremely comfortable because of the flexibility of the ratcheting system. The only annoyance being the buckle pressing into my hip while carrying a full size HK P30L. The first time I put the EDC-S belt on I was completely blown away. I almost feel more comfortable with it on than off. It is hands down the most comfortable belt I have ever worn. I will just have to wait some time to see if it is durable as well.
I recently started carrying, and ended up with this belt thanks, in big part, to this review. I already had a nexbelt and the EDC-S belt is very easy to find that “sweet spot” without adding too much bulk in the front.
I found your channel awhile back and I love your content, so THANK YOU! The only thing that could be better is if these companies start sponsoring you and getting you some free gear to review! I wonder if you could just ask them for a review unit? It’s not like you don’t get plenty of views! Either way, keep up the good work man!
I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the channel! I’m grateful that DPM Systems decided to sponsor a bunch of videos, Handleitgrips offered to sponsor a couple of vids, and I caught Radian’s attention. It’s definitely starting to happen, slowly but surely. 😎👍 Thanks for being along for the ride!
I bought one of these because of this review to replace my hanks belt I've been wearing for last 5 years(the kydex core is cracked in 4 different places.) I have pretty rough lower back pain these days so I'm hoping this helps a little bit with that. Thanks for the bathroom tip too, a true review of the people lol
This was the first video I've seen from your channel that I stumbled upon while looking for belts. You did a terrific job at covering all the primary and miniscule points people may not think to ask about the product. The video production was concise and to the point. I am curious about an update to the wear on the product as it has been over a year. I am concerned as to how long the elastic will last before it becomes unusable. Bonus points for the anime and video game products in the background. I recognized the majority of it. It is good to see other anime and video game fans that are not firearm averse in real life.
Welcome to the channel! After a year the back portion has stretched and pinched a tiny bit but then stayed put. It required one adjustment but it’s going strong 👍 And yeah, we are a rare breed. But it’s always nice finding my people in the comments! 😅 I’m glad you are well cultured and pro gun!
@@NightwoodGunsthat's a good sign. I don't expect it to last forever, but for the price, I'd like to get three years out of it. I'm debating between the Tier 1 or the Hunter Constantine version, which lacks the third loop for the hook. Has that third loop been used in your daily wear? Coincidentally, in relation to your Gurren Lagann figurines, my last cosplay was Kamina with my friend as Yoko. Have you done any cosplay?
@@TuxedoBond I only run it on the third loop 👀😎 If I eat a huge meal i can take it out to the second or first loop 👍 That’s an awesome cosplay! Gurren Lagann is probably my favorite anime of all time. (I even have a Gurren Lagann tattoo) I haven’t cosplayed but I do go to conventions. One of these years my wife and I will probably go all-in and cosplay something 😂👍
@@NightwoodGuns good enough for me to hear it’s still holding up. If you’re up this early replying to comments- you’re obviously putting in the work. I just ordered one of these. Really looking forward to the comfort. My current belt is a rigid black leather cop type belt(not a cop) and it’s killing my back and hips lately. I didn’t want to spend the money when these first came out, I am ready now though. Good Christmas 🎄 gift for my daughter to get me… she’ll be as surprised as me….
Glad you enjoyed the vid! I’m afraid that video idea would be short. It’s just the KORE essentials belt. Works best for every carry position and every body type.
Thank you for reviewing this belt, I came across it a few days ago and your video popped up, and I'm glad it did. By the way, there was an odd artifact in the video at the 4:58 mark at the top right of the screen. Not sure if it was a bug or a bit of dust.
I like a fair few of the things on your channel, I bought one months ago. I liked it, but after getting a neomag alias reciever its on a whole new level.
I just ordered one of the Hunter Constantine belts from his website last week and can’t wait to try it. I added it to the cart after seeing 87 five star reviews saying it was the most comfortable belt ever, and zero reviews less than five stars. I think it’s a slightly different belt than this tier 1 collaboration, but almost the same, and it’s in stock currently.
Definitely pros and cons for both but, ZERO is still the better value by a small margin. The ease of adjustability and putting on/taking off the belt, the seemingly perfect balance between flexibility and rigidity, and the price is what gives it the top spot IMO. HC belt has the advantage in terms of sturdiness on the front and complete flex on the back (better comfort) but getting through belt loops is annoying and the price is hard to justify with many options out there. If you are new to CCW and don’t have a belt, HC is the way. If you already own multiple belts and are looking for comfort and simplicity, go ZERO. Going forward I plan on using the HC for long periods where changing clothes/outfits is not a consideration, and the ZERO for when I need to be quick about getting ready or plan to change clothes throughout the day. Good luck folks!🤙🏽
Thanks for the review. I was debating back and forth due to increased cost of this belt, but comfort in my opinion is worth paying extra for. I'm in process of ordering my T1C holster for my G19 EDC. - I'm curious if you use a wedge to keep the grip closer to your body to present protrusion through shirt. - I'm also curious if you keep your mag in the gun, with a spare mag in the mag carrier, or if you're carrying your only mag in the mag carrier and no mag in the gun to reduce the length profile of the gun/grip. I didn't think about buying a holster with a mag carrier for my single mag, and going no mag in the gun to reduce profile as an option. (I've been looking at T1C gun only holsters instead of gun and mag combo, hence the question)
I was excited about the concept, but not how it attaches. You are right, the Kore is going to be a bit heavier and a bit harder but nothing beats 40 small ratcheting teeth, vs three loops. The concept is to be applauded, but it needs a better system to attach it all together. I suspect a version 2.0 will remedy that. I’m sticking with my Kore for now. Love the channel.
Glad you’ve been enjoying the channel! 👍 Yeah, the attachment system can be a pain in the butt if you are coming from a ratchet system. Looking forward to seeing how this concept evolves 😎
I got mine today. Been using a kore belt for about 2-3 years and I was getting tired of the buckle. It sucks for appendix. This belt is basically a kore essentials and groove life had a baby and the baby was an athlete. I cringed at the price of this thing but if it holds up and stands the test of time it’s definitely worth the price. We’re going to start seeing the knock offs coming soon. I think it’s as good as you say it is also. Like I said the only thing that can change that is if for some reason the elastic portion wears out faster than it should.
Great video but I have 1 question. In the video you wear the belt with the buckle on your left side with the hook pointed downwards, are you able to flip the belt upside down and position the buckle on the right hip? This would obviously position the hook pointed upwards but could it be worn that way? That's where I usually position my buckle on my current belt.
Dang you Brett, first you sealed me on now buying Bul Armory now the belt to try from tier 1. SOE has been my go-to after trying about everyone else but I'll give them a try now too.
Damnit Brett!!! You make me want to buy everything you review! First I bought the Kore essentials belt but yes I do frequently adjusted when carrying all day. Then the radian ramjet/afteeburner. Then the DPM system recoil spring… now this belt… lmao😂
@@NightwoodGunsI’ve seen quite a few of your videos and enjoy your content, but am very selective with who I subscribe to on YT. I don’t think I can justify not subscribing after this one though hahaha I’m in!
Great video man. I’m a huge T1C fan but 115 bones is a tough pill to swallow when I love my Kore belts as much as I do for sure. But I’m sure I’ll cave and grab one like I always do because I have zero self control 😂😂.
@@JustinV911 I did end up buying one and I don’t like it as much as my Kore belts. It’s more comfortable fire sure but just doesn’t conceal as well as the Kore belts do. I still wear it when I am wearing baggier clothes up top but on a regular basis I’m still rocking the Kore
@@wessowell6616 thanks for the response. I have a blue alpha and a Tenicor and I can’t tell which one I like more, sometimes one conceals better than the other At times I feel the Tenicor doesn’t keep my setup where I want it kept
Was gonnna get one and had the same reservations you did, was waiting for someone to do a video ...I use the Kore as my EDC now... but after this video Im definitely getting one, at least when there in stock I'll be getting one lol.. thx for the vid definitely helped me out bro
Be square with me (I know you will) a year after this video, how is the elastic holding up? Any signs of stretching out and not holding your rig as tightly into you as it did here. I know it can be adjusted in as well in case of stretching. But have you had to do that? I also carry a full size, fairly heavy rig (nowhere near as heavy as a Staccato I’m sure!) which is a full size Walther PDP 5 inch in an Axis Elite and that was one of my concerns was about the elastic wearing out and not holding my rig in tight. I don’t worry about the bounce because I’m old and do NOT run, do parkour, jump, skip rope, double Dutch or anything like that. And the only wrestling I do is with my wife and I’m not wearing a belt or my rig at that moment. 😂 Thanks man!
😂 To answer your question, it stretched once after a few months but after readjusting it’s been solid. A little bit of pinching in the back but it still runs as new. 👍
I did email T1C regarding to their warranty on the belt. Its come with lifetime warranty of wear and tear so we are good as long as you don't abuse or modify it.
Great video, I have been thinking of getting one, but the price though! This video is very helpful. How well does the Tier 1 concealed, on the ridged gun side conceal? I have the same core belt and found that it printed too much on me, looked like I was wearing a hula hoop. I have the Core leather version and it conceals better. Also, do you find the the adjustment thru glide uncomfortable? Thank you
Waiting for your impressions of that DPM kit...i had mine for a CZ P10 C...i used all of the springs and road provided ,just to see the differences...not really impressed with it...whenever your video will come,I'll exchange some more impressions on that 😉
Hello, for athletic shorts and sweats, do you recommend this belt or the comfort concealment belt? I already have belts for carrying with jeans/cargos, but really want to fill the need for athletic wear. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
You can certainly use the HC belt for athletic shorts and sweats. But I prefer the comfort concealment for that kind of carry. It’s lighter, less cumbersome, more comfortable against bare skin, easier on/off, and cheaper. I recommend the HC belt for people who don’t have any belt yet and want one that can do both types of carry.
@@NightwoodGuns thank you very much! Do you find that the comfort concealment has any problem holding the weight of your weapon and extra mag with your t1c holster?
@@BirdieBeaman Nope, I wear it tight and I’m good to go! 👍 It will never be as stable as wearing a real belt with belt loops, but I carry my full-size gear with the comfort concealment on athletic short days with no problem.
I always appreciate your reviews man, they’re too notch-keep ‘em coming. Is this belt any different from Constantine’s belt (design and functionality), or is it just a marketing collab between the 2?😂
Thanks! I’m glad you’re enjoying the vids! 😎👍 It is just a marketing collab between the two. The T1C branded buckle is the only difference that I’m aware of. Same thing they do with Kore.
Are the edges of the hook rough/sharp? I think one of my concerns would be over time the hook wearing through the loops. Despite this concern, I just purchased one as they’re finally back in stock.
I had the same concerns. No signs of wear yet, but I’m keeping an eye on it. The hook is pretty well finished without any rough or sharp edges, so it should be fine. It’s been 100% for me this whole time. 👍
I just got a Warrior Poet Nex belt and it’s been amazing!! Maybe someday I’ll splurge for this belt but currently it’s been perfect for me. I however do love the soft/stretchy back of your belt!
Can you wear this on gym shorts and things without belt loops? I read it can and was just curious from your personal experience. That would be game changer and a big selling point to buy.
I would say that you probably could in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Since nothing anchors it to your body, the whole belt could slide up your body on the draw. The only carry method I recommend with gym shorts/no belt loops is the Phlster Enigma.
@@NightwoodGuns thank you for the insight and reply! How you liking the belt now after a couple of weeks having it now? Is the belt still holding strong and durable?
Are you running any of the Tier 1 wedges on the holster with this belt? I have some wedges sitting in the wrapper but I feel like they might be useless with the flex in the belt.
It’s not better, it’s just different. It serves a different purpose. It sacrifices the convenience (and a little bit of stability) in favor of comfort. I find myself wearing my T1C x KORE belt often still just for the convenience of the ratchet system. If comfort is your number one priority, the belt in this video is the way to go.
This looks nice. It's a long the same lines as my Foundation EDC belt that Carry Trainer recommended. There's give in the back for sitting and driving while still being stiff where it needs to be with a super small buckle with Velcro
Watched a number of your videos recently as I look to upgrade my EDC kit, I have an Axis Elite and this belt (from HC directly rather than T1C) on the way as a result. Im not quite your build, but I am tall and skinny and was happy to hear your feedback and success with the setup. I also have a more discreet belt from Mastermind Tactics coming at the same time, to compare the 'loopless' experience. If you havent already I would love to see your thoughts on the 'pillow' wedge they make.
@Nightwood Guns For sure, it is a bit flimsy. When I carry my P10C it can get a little droop. With my shield plus it's comfy. I have a nexbelt and find it to be horribly uncomfortable, prints a lot, and doesnt seat my holsters well. I'm going to try this tier 1 eventually.
I had the same issue as you. I offset the kore buckle and the lever/ screw plate would dig into my hip bone. Does your shirt ever get caught on your gun causing the grip or sight to print? I get small holes in my shirts
Did you ever make a 1-year update video? I'd be interested to see if the elastic and hook system has held up over time before dropping this much money and then finding out he's updating the design to fix problems that have shown up.
Haven’t done a video yet. But it’s holding up well! The stretchy back portion is now pinched a bit and I had to tighten it once. But it’s still holding and functioning strong. Impressive belt 👍
Great review man looks like a great belt. Still waiting on the tenicor zero belt review!! Loving mine holds my comped Glock 19L in an axis elite with 17 rd mags with no sag
From what I’ve seen it looks like the Tenicor Zero is probably the best minimalist belt on the market. I’d love to try one, I just can’t buy everything in existence 😂 I might see if they’ll send me one, I just prefer to avoid bias where I can.
@@NightwoodGuns I completely understand that. They take great pride in their products so I’m sure they wouldn’t be worried about a negative review because I bet they’d think you wouldn’t give one anyway 😂 if that makes sense
Nice video. I have been thinking about getting one, but the price was the only thing holding me back. Guess I’m going to have to pull trigger and get one.
Thanks for the video. I may need to try this belt when it is in stock. I currently use a Kore or an SOE EDC Low Profile belt. The SOE has a similar hook interface at less than half the price, although, the Tier 1 has some nice upgraded features, so it may be worth the extra cost.
Looks like a good belt. Very similar to the Agonic belt. I've tried many belts and Agonic has been the most comfortable belt I've ever used. I'm going to give this one a try as well.
I never heard of that belt till today. That belt looks similar but it is able to hold stuff inside the internal pockets and hide the belt clips. I don’t think the HC belt can
I’m wanting to get a concealed holster, most likely the T1C appendix like yours. Do you buy pants a size or so larger than normal to fit the holster comfortably?
It’s less important than you think and depends on the stretch of the waistband and the size of the gun. I recommend getting your holster/gun and wearing it concealed to your clothing store of choice. That way you can go into the fitting room and actually try your gear with different styles/sizes of pants to see what works best for you. Just make sure to be safe and leave the gun in the holster as you transfer it to different pants.
I managed to get one. So far happy with it, not sure if it'll replace my normal edc belt but I do like it so far. Might be my carry belt for when I'm gonna be walking alot, that's when I notice the discomfort the most.
For me it’s the comfort while sitting. The way it flexes with my body while sitting is so much better than a normal belt. It’s definitely comfy, we’ll see how it holds up over time. I’m optimistic. 👍
@Nightwood Guns I haven't had the opportunity to use it at work yet, I'll probably give it at least a week run there since I'm sitting in a truck or on a mower for the majority of the day. Definitely optimistic myslef.
@tonytiger2450 I am. I go between it and my kore belt. It's held up pretty well. The only thing I can say it may be a con or not depending on your preference but it doesn't conceal just the pistol by itself as well as it does the appendix rig style holsters for me.
is there any coupons for the belt? also is there a difference between the one sold on tier 1 and one sold on Hunter constaine/Trueshotammo. I am deciding this or the kore belt for my first conceal carry
If there is a coupon, I don’t have one. Sorry. The one that Tier 1 sells has a third adjustment loop, but that’s the only difference that I’m aware of. The Kore belt is more convenient for on/off and it’s more rigid for heavier guns. The HC belt is way more comfortable, but it’s a little less convenient on/off and can bounce with heavier set ups. Everything is a trade off 👍
I have the Hunter Constantine version. I'm not quite as dramatically enthusiastic as you, but it's working well so far. Agree about the absurd price, that really hit home when I actually received it and examined it's construction and materials. Yikes, okay. As far as OWB behind the hip carry, it works just fine, I fail to see the big problem? Just wear the buckle in front as you normally would, which puts the stiff portion right where it should be.
I didn’t say it was a big problem, it can be done. It’s just clearly designed for and thrives with appendix carry. I don’t think it particularly excels at behind the hip carry vs the lower back comfort it offers at AIWB. Especially for the price, I feel like other cheaper belts would be better suited for behind the hip. I’m glad the belt has been working out for you so far, though 👍 As you can tell, I’m very pleased with it.
I think it depends on your needs. I’d probably go comfort concealment if I *only* planned on running it without belt loops. I’d go with the EDC-S/Hunter Constantine belt if I wanted the option of doing both, it’s sturdier and runs better as a normal belt.
I do believe it would wear out faster than other belts. Where a KORE belt could probably last a lifetime of DCC clips, I’d guess this belt would start to get chewed up after a few years. It’s just a guess though, since mine shows no signs of wear from the DCC clips yet. I could be completely wrong.
It might be a little overpriced, but I do still recommend it 😎👍 Not mass produced and it’s made by good people so I’m okay paying a premium. Definitely one of my better “panic buys” 😂
100% Staccato every time. Runs 100% out of the box, if by some small chance you have an issue Staccato has industry-best customer service, night and day quality difference between the two. It’s worth spending a little more to buy once/cry once. If you haven’t already, be sure to familiarize yourself with the ins & outs of the platform (keep it oiled, dealing with the manual safety, protect the feed lips on mags, proper disassembly/reassembly, etc.) and you’ll be good to go!
In wanted to buy this so bad but wanted to wait for a review. Guess I'll have to wait to buy one. I've always looked for a better version of the 5.11 dropshot belt and this is it.
Thanks for the great review. I have a Kore belt and it serves all my needs. At least we'll enough that I'm not going to spend $115+dollars on a belt made for appendix carry only.
1:21 that’s how I felt after spending $80+ for stout recoil. I’d invest that in simple getting a porting package done by monsoon tactical if you want your sight picture/point of aim / whatever you’d like to say to shoot sooner ,you’ll actually FEEL a noticeable difference in recoil .
Definitely post an update on the durability of the elastic over time. I am currently working with a blue alpha hybrid EDC belt and I love it. Idk if I want to spent a total of $130 for a belt when I can get one for $75 from blue alpha
I’ll post an update if anything happens 👍 Blue Alpha is one of the best out there, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to replace it unless you are having back/hip/comfort issues.

Nice! That’s where I’m at with it, too! Sitting is so much more comfortable 😎👍 We’ll see how it holds up, but I’m optimistic.
Hope you liking the belt now that you have time with it?
@@swiftaudi I love this belt, and have been wearing it daily! However, the loops (3) that the hook attaches to are coming apart. We bought our budy at the range the Constantine version, which has only two loops at the hook attachment, and his seems to be holding up better than mine.
@@TheGregRussell I heard the loops have been upgraded recently not sure if that’s why.
@@swiftaudi that is great news! I'll definitely be ordering another
Great review!
Right on! 😎👍
I recently started carrying, and ended up with this belt thanks, in big part, to this review. I already had a nexbelt and the EDC-S belt is very easy to find that “sweet spot” without adding too much bulk in the front.
Happy to hear it 😎👍
I found your channel awhile back and I love your content, so THANK YOU!
Awesome review my friend, so glad you dig it! I felt the same when we started testing it last year. I was in love!
Definitely a great belt! You guys know what’s good! 😎👍
It required one adjustment but it’s going strong 👍
And yeah, we are a rare breed.
@@TuxedoBond I only run it on the third loop 👀😎 If I eat a huge meal i can take it out to the second or first loop 👍
That’s an awesome cosplay! Gurren Lagann is probably my favorite anime of all time. (I even have a Gurren Lagann tattoo) I haven’t cosplayed but I do go to conventions. One of these years my wife and I will probably go all-in and cosplay something 😂👍
You are about due for that one year follow up review video. Friendly reminder looking forward to seeing it.
@@KP-Pro2A Still holding up! I’m swamped with a backlog of videos, but I’ll do my best to squeak it in. 👍
@@KP-Pro2A 😂👍 Enjoy the belt! Still the comfiest carry belt I’ve tried!
Liked the video! What about doing a video for "best belts for different carry positions and body types"?
Glad you enjoyed the vid! I’m afraid that video idea would be short. It’s just the KORE essentials belt. Works best for every carry position and every body type.
Thank you for reviewing this belt, I came across it a few days ago and your video popped up, and I'm glad it did. By the way, there was an odd artifact in the video at the 4:58 mark at the top right of the screen. Not sure if it was a bug or a bit of dust.
Glad you enjoyed the video! And good eye, it’s pet hair 🤣
I like a fair few of the things on your channel, I bought one months ago. I liked it, but after getting a neomag alias reciever its on a whole new level.
I’ve heard great things about the Alias 👍
Wow I’m actually impressed that you can carry and hide that Big Hammer🤯 That’s a lot of Firearm to carry, thanks for the review.
😎👍 Glad you enjoyed the review
I literally subbed because of the blood-borne picture behind you. Great job on that.
You’re the first person to spot Bloodborne in all this time! Congrats! Welcome to the channel and may the good blood guide your way.
🙌
I just ordered one of the Hunter Constantine belts from his website last week and can’t wait to try it. I added it to the cart after seeing 87 five star reviews saying it was the most comfortable belt ever, and zero reviews less than five stars. I think it’s a slightly different belt than this tier 1 collaboration, but almost the same, and it’s in stock currently.
What do you think about it so far I placed my order yesterday I’m super anxious to get it on lol
They were in stock yesterday! When i notice they just have tan color in stock, I order one!!! 5 mins after OUT OF STOCK!!! Im glad i did it
Nice! Good job snagging one! 😎👍
Very excited to receive my belt tomorrow. So far, the Tenicor Zero has been the GOAT for me, but this belt has me hype for sure.🤙🏽
Nice! Let me know how it compares to the Tenicor Zero. I’m thinking it will be a bit sturdier 🤔
How do you like the belt OP
Update?
Great video. How would you think compares to the Hunter Constaine edc belt?
This is exactly the Hunter Constantine belt with an extra loop and a different logo 👍
I switched from a Kore belt to the Tenicor Zero belt for comfort too. If you ever try a Tenicor Belt, let us know how it compares.
Will do! 👍
This is the way
I have both. Prefer this tier 1 belt.
Yea that's my issue with it
I don't like the hookup
I got mine today. Been using a kore belt for about 2-3 years and I was getting tired of the buckle. It sucks for appendix. This belt is basically a kore essentials and groove life had a baby and the baby was an athlete. I cringed at the price of this thing but if it holds up and stands the test of time it’s definitely worth the price. We’re going to start seeing the knock offs coming soon. I think it’s as good as you say it is also. Like I said the only thing that can change that is if for some reason the elastic portion wears out faster than it should.
100% agreed! Sounds like we had the same observations and reservations, but so far so good! 😎👍 I’m very pleased with it!
Yep, you can do that 👍
Before I even started your video my concern was on my dumps and how that would go down. Thank you!
😂👍
Nice review. Have you compared this by any chance to the Tenicor edc belt?
I have not, but I’ve heard great things. It seems like this belt excels at comfort whereas the Tenicor belt is a great minimalist option.
Dang you Brett, first you sealed me on now buying Bul Armory now the belt to try from tier 1. SOE has been my go-to after trying about everyone else but I'll give them a try now too.
I always find the good stuff 😅👍
Damnit Brett!!! You make me want to buy everything you review! First I bought the Kore essentials belt but yes I do frequently adjusted when carrying all day. Then the radian ramjet/afteeburner. Then the DPM system recoil spring… now this belt… lmao😂
I do wish they made them in 1 3/4" though... I like a more substantial platform, personally but it is what it is. Great review!
That would be nice 👍 Glad you enjoyed the review

Thank you
Waiting for your impressions of that DPM kit...i had mine for a CZ P10 C...i used all of the springs and road provided ,just to see the differences...not really impressed with it...whenever your video will come,I'll exchange some more impressions on that 😉
Looking forward to discussing it a bit in the comments when the video goes live 👍 We’ll see how our observations compare.
Where does the adjustable part of the buckle sit when the belt is on? Does it ever cause discomfort when sitting in a car?
It sits on my side or just in front of my hip. I don’t notice it while sitting in the car, but your mileage may vary. It is very low profile.
Dear TH-cam today would be my 4th time subscribing to this channel in the last 2 weeks cut the shit ✌️😚
Unreal… thanks for letting me know, though. My channel has definitely been flagged at this point 😂
@@NightwoodGuns gotcha. Appreciate it man!
Of course! 👍
Nice! Nexbelts and KORE belts are best all-around 👍 The convenience is hard to beat.
Freaking thing is sold-out. You sold me bud. Thanks for the review(s)
Great video! Do you know how it holds up with something like gym shorts, sweats or just anything without belt loops?
It works well 👍 One of the better options out there!
Yeah, wedges still work. You just have to wear this belt tight 👍
I have the T1C x KORE - EDC Belt and love it, do you think this is better?
It’s not better, it’s just different. It serves a different purpose. It sacrifices the convenience (and a little bit of stability) in favor of comfort. I find myself wearing my T1C x KORE belt often still just for the convenience of the ratchet system. If comfort is your number one priority, the belt in this video is the way to go.
This looks nice. It's a long the same lines as my Foundation EDC belt that Carry Trainer recommended. There's give in the back for sitting and driving while still being stiff where it needs to be with a super small buckle with Velcro
Very similar, just a bit sturdier up front and no Velcro 👍
@@NightwoodGuns I think I might get this for my girlfriend 😁
😁👍
Watched a number of your videos recently as I look to upgrade my EDC kit, I have an Axis Elite and this belt (from HC directly rather than T1C) on the way as a result. Im not quite your build, but I am tall and skinny and was happy to hear your feedback and success with the setup. I also have a more discreet belt from Mastermind Tactics coming at the same time, to compare the 'loopless' experience. If you havent already I would love to see your thoughts on the 'pillow' wedge they make.
I really like the groove belt. I generally carry a shield plus so not very heavy. I like the idea of this belt though
Groove belt was a little too flimsy when I tried it. This is the perfect middle ground 👍
I feel ya! 😎👍 Whenever these are more available, I definitely recommend it.
Would you like the stiff portion of this belt to a nex belt level of stiffness?
I had the same issue as you. I offset the kore buckle and the lever/ screw plate would dig into my hip bone. Does your shirt ever get caught on your gun causing the grip or sight to print? I get small holes in my shirts
That has happened to me in the past, but a good concealment wing on a holster should minimize that.
@@NightwoodGuns I’m using a las concealment right now.
I feel this would he a good option for carrier in work out wear because you can really tighten it up closer to the body.
I’ve done it and it works 😎👍
Did you ever make a 1-year update video? I'd be interested to see if the elastic and hook system has held up over time before dropping this much money and then finding out he's updating the design to fix problems that have shown up.
Haven’t done a video yet. But it’s holding up well! The stretchy back portion is now pinched a bit and I had to tighten it once. But it’s still holding and functioning strong. Impressive belt 👍

The Tier 1 is definitely my favorite low-profile/comfort belt so far. 👍 Thanks for the comment!
Another great review. Thanks man. I'm guessing this belt is 1.5" wide?

Man. I was the kid with the Game Boy Pocket when everyone else had a Color. Thanks for unearthing old traumas. 😒
🤣🤣🤣 Sorry ‘bout that… I’ll share my GameBoy Color with you now! You won’t have to play Pokémon in black and white anymore!
Looks like a good belt. Very similar to the Agonic belt. I've tried many belts and Agonic has been the most comfortable belt I've ever used. I'm going to give this one a try as well.
I’ve heard mixed opinions on the Agonic. But I definitely like and recommend this one 😎👍
@@NightwoodGuns thanks
As always, great video and presentation. Are lite dumps an issue? 😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed! Same challenges with lite dumps and even quick dumps… 😂
Right on! 😎👍
Update? Are you still carrying it?
@@NightwoodGuns that's fair... it wouldn't be my first choice for 4 o'clock either, but it's usable.
Is this belt any different from Constantine’s one, or is it just a marketing collab with tier1, but still the same belt?
@@Dansal1980 One thing I noticed is that the Tier 1 has three adjustment loops, where mine only has two.
this is dope, how do you think it compares to the comfort concealment belt ?
I think it depends on your needs. I’d probably go comfort concealment if I *only* planned on running it without belt loops. I’d go with the EDC-S/Hunter Constantine belt if I wanted the option of doing both, it’s sturdier and runs better as a normal belt.
thank you sir 👍🏼@@NightwoodGuns
Happy with the Tenicor Zero belt but on the waiting list on etc belt.
Very nice! I think you’ll be happy when you get it! 😎👍
I use DCC clips, do you foresee any issues with them wearing it out?
I do believe it would wear out faster than other belts. Where a KORE belt could probably last a lifetime of DCC clips, I’d guess this belt would start to get chewed up after a few years. It’s just a guess though, since mine shows no signs of wear from the DCC clips yet. I could be completely wrong.
I didnt want to buy this, i assumed it was probably overpriced, but you made a damn good case for getting one.
It might be a little overpriced, but I do still recommend it 😎👍 Not mass produced and it’s made by good people so I’m okay paying a premium. Definitely one of my better “panic buys” 😂

Great vid. I’m about to jump into the 2011/1911 platform. How do you feel about SA Prodigy 4.25 vs staccato for a first 1911? Thanks in advance.

Ciguera, to me, makes the best product that is actually a belt while still being comfortable yet sturdy and durable.
Ciguera, KORE, Nexbelt, Blue Alpha Gear, Wilderness Tactical, the list goes on. Lots of great choices out there! 😎👍
I came from a emissary belt to the HC belt
I don't use kore, I use nexbelt. And I use the supreme appendix belt clip. It's smaller than the others, better for appendix offsetting
It’s narrower than the Kore for sure, but it’s still bulky compared to this buckle. This buckle is next-level low-profile. 👍
@@NightwoodGuns for sure! I'm just not a fan of the attachment method. It looks clunky to me. I'll probably buy one anyway just because it's t1c tho
Lol! It’s definitely not as convenient as the Nexbelt or Kore, but is sure is comfy. 100% a trade-off. T1C knows what’s good 😂
I'd be interested to see how the elastic webbing holds up over time
Still going strong 👍
Definitely post an update on the durability of the elastic over time. I am currently working with a blue alpha hybrid EDC belt and I love it. Idk if I want to spent a total of $130 for a belt when I can get one for $75 from blue alpha
I’ll post an update if anything happens 👍 Blue Alpha is one of the best out there, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to replace it unless you are having back/hip/comfort issues.
@@NightwoodGuns definitely appreciate it and all that you do!!
@@StoneSalt 😎👍
I’ve had one and now two from hunter Constantine Amazing belt and holding up great
Awesome! I’m glad to hear they are still going strong! 😎👍
Also when putting the belt on it’s better to start from your back belt loop and when unbuckling hook it the closet loop so it doesn’t shoot off lol
@@NightwoodGuns awesome content man from fellow Desert rat 🙏🏽
@@ARID-APACHE That’s similar to what I normally do, just did it different on camera lol! Glad you are enjoying the content, man! Always nice hearing from another desert dweller🌵👍
have you heard of the tracer tactical edc belt?? i’ve never seen a review or a video of this belt other than Sawyer using it (T1C) in a quick snip and ever since i’ve been intrigued… could you possibly review this in the future?
Interesting… I just looked it up and it looks kinda cool. I’ll add it to the list of “maybe” reviews 👍
@@NightwoodGuns gotcha! i appreciate the help and thanks for you’re time and consideration 🙏🏼 it means a lot 🫡
@@IamIrod I’ll keep an eye out for it 👍
What's the design of these kinds of belt called. I've seen one similar at much cheaper price but could not find it again.
I'll wait the year to see how well it holds up and the price to drop a bit.
Nothing wrong with that 😎👍 I’m curious to see how it holds up, too.
Are you planning a review of the new tier 1 apx? I’m torn between that and the axis elite
I just got the apx and plan on doing a direct comparison soon. Its amazing and well worth having both for me so far. Not sure if i could only have one which it would be
Is there any difference between the belt that Hunter Constantine sells (which is in stock) vs the Tier-1 belt that is always out of stock? I'm trying to figure out if people just want the Tier-1 belt because of the brand name. Thanks!
The T1C version has a third adjustment loop. Other than that, they are the same 👍
Literally just bought one bc of this review. Keep up the good work
😎👍
