  • @anitas.3392
    @anitas.3392 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I recently changed from a 380 to a 9mm, and the increased weight of the pistol caused problems. The extra width and stiffness of the Kore leather belt supports the extra weight, and makes carrying noticeably more comfortable. The buckle adjustment helps also, allowing you to easily get the fit just right. So it works for me.

    I have had my kore leather gun belt for 4 years. There were times I would hit the flat range and do 2000 rounds a month much of it concealed draw 1:1 drills. (Trex arms sidecar Glock 19 w/rmr)
    This is the best everyday carry belt that is realistic for us all. The ratchet system is extremely comfortable and reliable.

    I bought one of these Kore belts a while back and it's been very good so far. Being able to rapidly snug the belt down has really helped me stay concealed. I don't know why, but as the day progresses sometimes I find my gun's grip leaning out more. With the ability to snug the belt down a few clicks I can tighten the gun back into my body. Very nice feature that most other belts don't offer.

    Best gun belt you can buy. I bought five other gun belts before these Kore belts, and I seriously thought the other manufacturers had never worn a weapon in their life. Kore really thought these through for people like me who wear these products on duty, both in uniform and in a suit. I loved my first one so much I bought another within a week. These belts cinch down perfectly, carry a heavy load, and are rigid as can be. The buckles are awesome.

    I use a Kore gun belt everyday. For the cost, I'm really happy and love the ratchet setup.
    They do eventually take the shape of your waist and gun. At which point it feels like it loses a little stiffness but it's still pretty stiff, considerably stiffer than any normal leather belt.

  • @keithwilliams3044
    @keithwilliams3044 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    We stock these Kore belts in our firearms shop and I can tel you they sell out frequently. Its a great product for the simple reason that the belt adjusts to fit you perfectly and they are really tough and dont ever sag. My draw speed has improved becuase the way this belt fits. The the belt doesnt rise up when I draw so it clears the holster quicker.

    Just ordered the Kore X3 black tactical gun belt. I'm some what of a bigger fella so to be able to discreetly loosen and tighten the belt when needed is a big game changer. Just went on a diet and started back in the gym too so as I lose weight I won't have to ever worry about the belt becoming too big. I can just trim it down as needed.

    For what it's worth, I have one of the nylon gun belts (the reinforced belt), and use it every day. I also carry somewhere between 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock, and haven't noticed that slight kink that you have. I encourage anyone who carries to give this belt a try. It works as advertised - and as demonstrated by Mr GNG - and really makes a difference in the comfort of carrying a firearm.

    I'm part of Indiana State Police's Executive Protection Section and own the KORE X4 gun belt model. This really is a great product and the ratchet system allows me to get a tailored and secure fit whether I’m wearing blue jeans, khakis, or dress pants. No more suspenders needed. I was also absolutely impressed by the adjustability, I never thought of a belt being comfortable til now. The final test was to take it to the range and draw from my holster. As I presumed, my draw felt secure. There’s literally zero slack in the belt so the draw was seamless. One of our Troopers recently ordered one as well.

    I’ve never owned a belt of this type before. The quality of the leather and the buckle is absolutely top notch. I would definitely recommend KORE to anyone watching or thinking of a new belt. Not only as a gun belt but just as a quality leather belt.

  • @ST-Y

    Before my Kore gun belt I previously owned a mission belt to carry but the buckle couldn’t hold the nylon belt as firmly as this one. I think the two set screws is a genius idea and solves the problem the mission belt had. Plus the nylon belt from Kore Essentials is much stiffer and firm holding all my tools and pants very securely.

    I generally carry 16 hours/day and did wear out one of the very early Kore leather belts in about 1-1/2 years, but I have a new Kore tactical belt and they have made substantial improvements; it's stiff enough to carry just about anything belt-mounted and I would never use a belt without a ratchet system. The leather belt had started to crease/crack, but never had a problem with the ratchet system. I've tried the "tactical" NexBelt which also has a ratchet system, but it's not nearly as stiff as the new Kore offering.

I started out by getting the Brown leather gun belt and was so impressed after 6 months of heavy use that getting two more was a no-brainer. Great for carry and great for just looks. I now have a gun belt for all occasions, brown for more casual wear, black for anything a bit more professional and nylon for range or other heavy use.

    I have 2 of these. Bought the original FDE one a year ago and got another black one about 6 months later. The ratchet system is great for getting a good fit. I still use my BlueAlphaGear lowpro because its buckleless and sometimes I need as little bulk as possible to conceal certain guns with certain clothes. Overall good product and worth trying over any hole type gun belt.

    My experience with kore has been this. Bought a leather belt and a original buckle and the belt split in half after a year or so. So I bought a nylon belt and my original buckle would split the belt at the spikes and come loose. It happened a few times. So I bought a new style buckle which has a much more solid lockup. It's still in use and I like it.

    I have owned three of theses, the black leather gun belt, the brown leather gun belt, and the black nylon gun belt for about three years. I use them everyday if I am carrying or not carrying. They seem expensive when you first buy them, but I have not bought another belt since.

    What Mr. guns and gear did not tell you, because he doesn’t seem to fluctuate in weight, is it’s perfect after a big meal. Just release the lock and presto, comfort again!
    Great belt

    If you carry, the Kore tactical gun belt is the best. Kore’s customer service is top notch.

    Mr GnG, How the heck did I miss this video of yours ? Doing an online search for "ratchet belts" I discovered KORE Essentials. Ordered a EDC belt; waiting on delivery. Then....discovered your review after ordering belt. Thanks for reaffirming my decision to buy KORE EDC belt ! Have a Merry Christmas 2019. Thanks for all you do.
