Im curious if 1999 or simply this era of Warframe will be a recurring one. I hope that 1999 has as much to do with the current timeline of Warframe. Im just curious how its all going to tie back into the over arching story. I also hope its not just a content island as well. Maybe well get Warframe 2000 in tne future and new open worlds from the past. The peak content would be if they straight up combined 1999 with current Warframe. Like the operater meets the 1999 proto frame operaters and all that Jazz. Hell it would be cool if the operater merged with a Warframe permanently and we could fully customize ourselves in every way possible. >_>

let’s admit, Grendel in the casual cosplays was the funniest shit ever
Limiting mobility and a whole new world/tileset that's completely different compared to the future sci-fi we have now is the main thing I'm interested in. Could be the breath of fresh air the game needs. The main goal to reach for DE is to make the 1999 content replayable and a good alternative to the old missions.
Probably the biggest issue they have with big updates is that the content itself is pretty limited outside a long faction grind, then completely abandoning it for the new big update.
