I'm trying to work out which is more economically beneficial between mealworm and BSF (as feed for chicken and fish). I get the feeling that BSF has a quicker turnaround and the use of waste food makes it the better. Any thoughts?
The speed and efficiency of bsf is hard to compete but mealworms tend to be more well rounded when it comes to nutrients and are much better at surviving change in a given environment, but breeding can be more complicated due to cannibalism, Id say each has its pro and con using both advantages and disadvantages together is the real solution.
