Just a quick little note for anyone, you don’t need to craft 16,000 buckets. Just make an infinite water source and you’ll be good.
Note:it is easier to build on the ocean bc no mobs can spawn.therefore,just place torches around ur mob and mobs will spawn at the farm
Your items list of "what you need" is wrong. Need 4 more trap doors, slabs not even mentioned, more water buckets

@@cutterthompson9386 pretty good, put looting 3 on your sword from either enchanting, buying books, or getting lucky by fishing n you’ll get stacks of everything except ender pearls
For anyone who’s not getting any spawns or getting a very low spawn rate, make sure you build it 130 blocks away from any land

@@DarkAaron I just built it over ocean an hour and a half ago. It works good except every 30 mins it gets full of spiders and now apparently in bedrock 1.21 there isn’t a way to spider proof farms anymore, so I have to change to peaceful and back.
Guys you need 8 extra water buckets, 4 signs, and a stack and 4 of trap doors. Make sure to bring spare wood and cobblestone with u or put it on an ender chest.
Make a Infinite water sorce
4 slabs, 4 signs, 8 more buckets (just make and infinite water source with 2 buckets) 4 more trapdoors, and I don't even wanna count the blocks used but it's probably off by a stack if not 2. Other than that. Great tutorial

ngl. didn’t think it would work. i made this in survival took me like 2hours and it actually worked. im guessing if it didn’t work for other people you must’ve made a mistake somewhere cuz mine works perfectly. level 22 already
Does it work if you are not afk? Or do you need to be afk? Amd does it spawn much creepers??
Tip for building take a jukebox with a good disc so you have a good time

Slabs don't work in mob farms for bedrock it let's to much light in as its not a full block. Plus mobs won't spawn on slabs in bedrock. I've been playing on bedrock for a while now, and unless this has changed it won't work, so your better no using them 😊
@@MrYogibear211 He mentioned slabs because you need slabs at the bottom of the dropper end so when loot drops it fires through the slabs into the hoppers because slabs aren’t a full block, you are right on everything you said though.
Put campfire instead of slab so u just afk copletly

Before you start making it read this. Items he forgot. 4 slabs, 4 signs, it's 12 water buckets total. Also spiders will get stuck between the water and aigns and the trap doors leading into the hole. So yeah souders clog the farm. They can climb any block so you're basically left with filling the gap with signs and making a way up to go unclog it

@@skypote358I made the walls from packed ice in the tube part where they got blocked and put signs till the water are and they stopped getting stuck for now and worked great. The spiders can climb the packed ice so the signs are probably the only thing that worked. Either make it in creative or switch to creative in your world if it gets a problem to try and fix it.

Two tips for those buildings: build at least 150 blocks from land in any direction, add at least two more layers for better spawns.
P.S: If you’re on bedrock in 1.21 you can no longer spider proof your spawns. They will clog your farm and you will no longer get mobs dropping down. I timed it and you will get mobs for 30 mins until it gets clogged, switch to peaceful and back and they will spawn again, a hassle but it’s the only thing that works.

Best Farm! Make at least 3-4Floors, and if u make the rooms 3block high enderman also spawn. Difficulty at hard and u get a lot of stuff. U get everything what u need for the earlygame, u can smelt the armors if u don’t need for nuggets and grindstone for xp. Don’t forget to bring a bed, i think on day are more mops.

@@Klean876 its on hard and there is no light sources and the roof is full blocks and not slabs. I am also on bedrock if that changes things idk.

@@christiangarcia6137 Yes. I use a normal mob grinder automated by a trident killer right now and it’s much, much faster. The reason for the farm being slow is because the spawning platforms are tiny which causes the game to choose an underground cave rather than the farm. You’ll ideally want all spawning platforms to be 15x15 (225 blocks per). And make sure to spawn proof around the farm to increase rates at night. A better xp farm is blazedMC’s gold farm (I use this) which is very cheap and can get you to level 30 very fast. There are also other advanced mob farms which aren’t too expensive to build. Just look up ‘Mc bedrock 1.21 mob farm’ and you’ll find them. You can also use mob spawners to farm a specific mob.

Everyone is saying that they wished that every item was listed but why didnt anyone bring extra wood? My number one rule going anywhere in Minecraft is always bring wood. I also saw that the farm wasn't working for people but its working amazingly for me. Thank you 10/10 💯
Its makes it kinda frustrating when everything isn't listed though. I had wood on me but still was very frustrating that I had to make more items that weren't even listed.

Better to make it over ocean because less caves you have to light up

This farm worked and it didn't matter to me that signs weren't listed because I had to take multiple trips to make this build anyway! (the farm also worked perfectly)

I'd recommend trapdoors for them to not spawn and creepers won't explode bc they won't see u

definitely worth the blocks 👍 for a bit faster of a farm do what he says, but in the roof make a second layer of the top part amd stack it on top, work faster
i cant get any mobs to spawn and i don't know why. 0 entities are in the area at all times.

mob farms in bedrock are genrally very slow it also helps if you build it above a big ocean

You can quickly create a infinite water source by having a 2 by 2 negative space with blocks surrounding it and then placing 2 water buckets inside diagonally to have enough water, no need to take 4 only 2 buckets. You also don't need the water in the tube going down, just make it like 22 blocks tall so mobs take enough fall damage to die 1 shot.

Yea you have to stand directly behind the chest, crouch down and then place the hopper. You’ll see it looks like a tube going into the chest from the hopper. Crouch and clicking the back of the chest when placing the hope is key.

use carpet. Go to the corners on the inside of the spawner, and place one carpet on the block diagonal to the corner block. Now just place more carpets that are spaced out 1 block apart. Idk if i explained this very well.

They believe trapdoors are full blocks, so they walk onto them and therefor fall into the water.

Bro I use this mob farm all the time on my friends servers. It it usually not above an ocean but a big lake and it still works. However, I built it in my single player world and it is not working. I did all the steps and even looked at the comments. It there a way to fix it?
Needs to be in the ocean
I think there is a certain distance you should be in. Also if there are any caves under the farm make sure it is all lighted up to prevent mobs from spawning there. Also make sure no light is getting into the farm at the top.

Mobs will spawn anywhere if it's a solid block, there is no light, and the player is nearby. You should build in the ocean so you won't fall down and die when building it.
How much time does it take for mobs to spawn??
Troubleshooting ideas for anyone having issues. Validate if mobs aren't spawning vs if mobs are spawning and just not falling
If mobs aren't spawning
- You may be too close to land (bedrock will cluster spawns in available areas. You may notice this is caves if all but one area is lit up. Multiple mobs will spawn a group). Try to identify where else mobs may spawn so they can only spawn in the farm
- Check ceiling height
- Check farm height to rule out underground caves
If mobs are spawning and not falling
- You borked something inside the farm. Check trap door orientations, water placement, etc
p.s. bring slabs and signs. They were not mentioned in the needed materials

You must afk when you're near your mob farm. If you're really far away, they won't spawn.

the farm is good it works make sure to have it on hard for max spawns of monsters

As long as there is enough water on the bridge to make them go the hole and fall, you can add as many layers as you want.

Farm works well, only problem is that spiders get stuck in the tube while trying to climb up and fill the mob cap (Edit: Works in java edition too)
There's a better modification where you add buttons to prevent spiders from spawning

So it makes the mobs one shot so you can get xp from them, if they die to fall damage you get no xp

Did this over an ocean and I am getting hardly any mob spawns, did a 3 high ceiling in order to try and get enderman is this the issue? not sure what is going on but it's useless currently
Maybe it’s not high enough and there is some caves underneath your build. It’s a long process but maybe try and find some unlit caves under the spawner and light them that should do the trick
Endermen won't go in water

It can be on land, but make it 100 blocks high instead of just 60. Either that or make sure that there are so many torches on the ground that no mobs can spawn.
