Why can't I build it in a river I just built the whole thing over a river and I was wondering how to fix it whitout taking the whole thing down and putting it back up
Because in that biome no mob can spawn and there is no solution to fix it
Also create a bamboo farm which is used as a fuel

This is not a problem, it depends on your graphics settings, which for me is the lowest possible setting for smooth video

I used cherry blossom leaf blocks for the walls and roof, but NOT the floor. Mobs spawn fine, just slowly. Should I switch out the cherry blossom blocks? I wanted to make the farm look like a giant tree. Mobs can't spawn on the roof since it's leaf blocks.
You have to make the whole farm with solid blocks, after that you can place the leaves around the blocks. Leaves slow down the farm.
Do mods spawn in water . So I can make a little slide that leads to the hole in the middle, feel like the rate of this trap is slim to none due to mobs have to fall

Sometimes, I had the problem that no mobs could spawn for several minutes, that's why I think if you are sure that you built the farm perfectly and the difficulty of the game is on hard, wait 5 minutes, the mobs will probably start to spawn.

How would I add another level because I built the farm and nothing is spawning
The farm should work well with one floor, the second floor is to increase its speed and you just have to build one floor like the one above it, there is no difference.
It works I just did it wrong so I just had to put water in the middle so they didn't die

i followed this to a t, switched to hard, and even added 2 extra layers and its not working
Make sure you didn't use slabs to build the farm and you didn't build the farm on the river biome

Because you did not connect the hoppers to the chest

The only things I can think of are that the farm should not be built in the river biome and you should not use slabs to build the farm.

If you pay attention to the points mentioned in the video, the farm should work, if you used slabs to build the roof, this is the reason, you should use the complete block.
Does the slabs have to be smooth stone?
The four slabs placed on the hoppers can be of any type and you should only use slabs there and you should not place slabs in the construction of other places of the farm.
Would adding spawners make it better?
You can't add spawner in survival mode
spiders die when they fall into mine but i built it exactly how the build went
If you’re having that issue you can go halfway to the chute where they fall (into the kill pit) use 4 signs and a bucket of water to help slow down the mobs, if they spawn without armor they will still be one hit to kill. As for the still seeing blocks in the ground that’s normal, the creators render distance is most likely on 2, if you want this affect go to your settings and set simulation distance as low as it will go. Hope this helps.😊
This friend have a complete explanation, but the thing about spiders is that sometimes spiders fall down and climb up the wall again and then fall down again, because of this, they take damage several times, which can cause them to die.

You have two ways:
1. Build another floor exactly like the first floor above it.
2. Build the last Mob farm that I made, it works very fast, but it is more difficult to build than this farm

@@xiaolim007The problem of this farm on that biome is exactly that the mobs don't spawn and if they spawn, their number is very few. You can test this in a creative map and understand completely.

Hello. I would like to speed up the process by adding in another floor, i just don't know how to do it. I saw you tell someone to use buttons for something i jsut dont understand what you do with them
You don't need to use the button to build the second floor, you just have to build a floor exactly like the first floor on the first floor. It is only possible that the mobs on the second floor will die immediately after falling down. To solve this problem, you can put 4 signs on the path of falling down and put a bucket of water on them to reduce the number of blocks that fall from them and make them stay alive.

On platforms where mobs spawn, place the trapdoors like other creeper farms that you can find videos of on TH-cam.

U gotta angle the hopper to go in the chest
You have to connect the hopper to the chest, for this you have to be sitting, you can do this with the shift button on the computer.

Sometimes less number of mobs may be spawned and sometimes more, also some viewers had built another floor which made the farm work faster. You can see their comments and ask them if you want.
