Not at all.. the drone is amazing! But if u like going far do not buy the propeller guard if u put it on u can only go less than 50 meters in height and distance. Without it in height it is 500 feet and 6 kilometers . Buy it! Its really good for beginners and i suggest u to buy the fly more combo because u get 2 extra batteries, extra props and u get a bag! Its worth it!
I just bought it recently. I will use for my profesional job as a building constructor. Thanks dJI for a reasonable drone money can buy. Keep forward for inspiring the world
Great video. But why aren’t the DJI Academy videos that are linked to the app in my language? Why are they in the language that I selected in the settings? I don’t see why I have to go to TH-cam to get this information.
Just a note about the app: With my phone (OneplusOne 7T), I couldn't download the app from the Play Store, but needed to manually install the apk file, after unsuccessfully trying some other DJI apps. I guess I am not the only one, so this should be noted in the video.
As with all DJI drones I've used, doesn't the gimbal do a 'dance' when you turn it on? I would have mentioned taking off the gimbal cover in the initial instruction about powering on the drone.
For anyone who is watching this and is an android user. Just letting you know that the app isn't available in Google play so you have to download the apk through the dji fly app website, and then install.
Got the mini 2 last Monday. The weather has not been conducive to fly with rain, snow and windy Was all enthusiastic to fly. My first drone. So I tried to connect the drone with the controller. Not much luck on that side. Followed the instructions and watched this video a few times. All the batteries and the controller are charged. Tried pairing with controller. No luck I take I'm doing something wrong and not to sure what the problem could be. We've got two phones so we swapped them to make sure that was not the problem. Got this so I could take a photo of roofs and take measurements for a roof replacement some roofs are very steep and some are two and three storeys high. With good light I can get the drone to do the work and inspect from the ground, take a photo of the roof to write the measurements down Cheers

Thanks for sharing. I wish it could support 4K 60fps, HDR mode, active track, easy changeable filter and easy changeable propellers (no need screwdriver) like Mavic Air 2
They can give the active track, but the problem is it doesn’t have obstacle avoiding sensors and drone will experience collisions. So they can’t enable active track with out the sensors.
I love my DJI Mini2. It is fun and gets wonderful results. Great product and I'm sure that this video has some great information, but the music interferes with the voice. I"m no a professional video producer, but I would think that the place for music is when no important dialog is being presented.

Is it just me or are there words in this tutorial that cannot be audibly understood? Ughhh, really DJI, couldn't you tell that he was talking too fast at some points. You could have inserted some arrows in areas where he says to push icons or buttons too. So frustrating when you can't understand what he's saying. Example at 3:24 what did he say to press and hold?
Happy to see the improvements over the Mavic mini. So sad to have bought the Mavic mini less than a year ago and now it is outdated!!! Will you at least upgrade the firmware so that I can also get photo sphere and panorama? Let's be honest and don't leave me hanging since I am already feeling cheated!
Hi guys i was trying to fly my mini 2 yesterday. After complete setup the drone was not taking off as one of the propeller was not rotating. I tried takin ofd miltiple time the results were same afyer which when i cjecked the drone personally that side of propeller was tight/hard. Any advices??

I am a home inspector and need to see the Roof of homes one to 2 stories, don't want to climb a ladder and see roof AC units on the tops of 3-6 story buildings. they are both more or less the same price. And I have never had any experience, and I live on a Golf course so I have space behind where I live to fly it with no obstacles to hit. THX

As with other instructions to first time users, they did not show how to charge the controller aka remote while charging the batteries, at the same time or on its own. There was no emphasis on the need to have it charged when it is important that it be charged as well as the batteries for the drone. There is only one USB type A charger included. It took me a long time to figure it out myself and I decided to use charger (for the controller) that is not included.
I ended up buying the mavic mini didnt work with my Samsung Galaxy s10 so I used the DJI spark still didn't work. Upgraded to the DJI mini 2. Connect with phone without any trouble. Took it out to fly its was so user friendly. Spent a little more money but time to put this little one to work
New wishlist. thank god I didn't buy mini 1 last night. Worth the wait.

It's inteligent enough to sense it. Plus , the gimbal it's actually very tough.

I have both the mini and air 2 but the air 2 is far much better in quality and intelligent flight mode.
