Walking into a Mexican bakery you would think you are in Paris. Because of the French influence in Mexican baked goods. Mexico has the best bakeries in the world. I love their puff pastry products and their shortbread cookies most of all. And eating a concha with a cup of Mexican coffee is heaven!
Israel, This video brought back memories when I was last in Mexico City (2022), you have the best taste. Keep bringing us amazing videos they are lovely.
We went to Mama Carmela. My daughter and I were walking across the street and the smell of bread lured us there! I wish we have that bakery in San Diego where we live
Love your compilation. I will definitely consider a few of these on my next visit! I do notice that you picked very bougie and trendy spots though. CDMX has so many great bakeries at a lower budget too. You must do a video on the classic ones! There are legendary bakeries that operate since the early 1900s. They don’t always look insta-ready, but just as highly rated as the trendy ones. Love it. Gracias y provecho . 🍩🥐 ☕️ 🇲🇽
Thank you Israel! I’m visiting CDMX in late November and staying in Roma Norte. I can’t possibly eat all that bread 😅 but planning to visit Panadería Rosetta for sure! Loving your videos. 🤗
Love all the beautiful shots you got of the city and food. Watched your videos before our last trip to Mexico city and it made it even that more special.
Que buen video para los que somos amantes de los postres. Esta lista la tendré en cuenta para mi visita a CDMX. Principalmente a la galardonada Rosseta. Gracias por el video.
I have never seen such beautiful conchas in my life😍! Soy de Tejas...y la neta😉 es... que no hay comparacion! I'm very excited to visit the "world class" CDMX 🟢🦅🔴 It will be this little Tejana's first ever visit to Mexico🤗 si Dios quiere. Is there any "etiqueta" I should know about when dealing with the lovely people of the capital? The truth is I'm totally American 🙃.. and I am hoping to connect to my roots and fall in love. I want to make sure I am a decent tourist but also want to blend in as una paisana too...(that will probably not happen)🤭Any suggestions and tips are appreciated. Thank you Israel for making these awesome videos, estoy babeando🤤
What a great video. This is the best video I have seen about Mexico City. As far as the Bakeries, I can not pick a favorite, it would be hard to choose, everything looks so wonderful. Jeff❤
Beautiful video highlighting the city too. We found Saint Bakery so maybe try that one. Bread is awesome. Croissant with almond and chocolate! And manzana empanada! Keep up the great content
Hi Israel, thanks for this video ! Will be soon visiting Mexico city for the first time. The first you reviewed, Da Silva seems to now be closed (according to Google maps). You might need to edit this video ;) One question: What about the more traditional Mexican pastry shops, like Pasteleria Ideal ? Would you recommend it? From the reading I've done, it seems there are bakeries like this where there are many tables of pastries, and you walk around with a tray, selecting what you want. Is this something you would recommend for a tourist visiting Mexico city?
Thank you my friend 🙂 oh no! I didn’t know Da Silva is now closed. I was there earlier this year and it’s been opened since I was in high school so I honestly had no idea it’s closed… are you sure? La Ideal is a nice big bakery but some of their bread can be too dry and not that high quality so I didn’t want to include it. They do have amazing cakes and bread but it’s a hit or miss. This Top 10 Bakery list is not an official list 😅 they are just my favorite bakeries that’s all 😉 have fun in CDMX 😎
@@IsraelPlata Your video certainly makes me hungry, and makes me want to go to all these bakeries! I am mainly considering pastries and desserts, not the breads, as I will be on vacation, staying in a hotel for 6 nights, so will not be buying bread. And another local treat I want to try are churros. I guess that could be a whole separate video, on the best churro places ;)
