Have a lovely holiday.☺️x
Thank you 😊
Just love your videos. I knew we had a connection I'm a retired nurse too. USA
I bet you have lots of stories too 😊
Thanks for telling us how to make the saguaro pants without pockets😀 happy holidays
Today I made it even easier no pockets means you can add the waist band pieces to the leg pieces - minus seam allowance so it’s even quicker 😊
@@SewLikeDotty oh that's even better !🤩
Just had a little giggle at the ‘solids’ .. thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Your holiday sounds fun and good for you figuring out a capsule wardrobe to wear. I just retired from over 20 years at a daycare, I totally know what solid means to you. I prefer to say prints and plains. I hope to make some dresses and slacks for my little great nieces for school, finish a couple of summer tops, and start a jacket for my 19 year old grandchild. But with a husband who is also retired, sewing doesn't always happen. I love to walk the steep hills in my little town for exercise. Unfortunately, i have I injured my right foot. Hill walking won't be happening for a few months. My doctor did say I can use the exercise bike as long as I wear the aircraft. It always feels like you can see us as you are talking.
The bike sounds like a good option for you - hope you recover quickly. You can be planning your sewing while peddling 🥰
Have a lovely holiday. I mark my backs with a neon tailors tacks. Agree with solids, I too don’t think of colours when I hear the phrase at first😂, same training
It’s definitely a nurse thing 😂
Routine saves my sanity.. I do turbo jam... I'm 77 Your clothes for your trip are lovely.. enjoy
Thank you!
You've just made me laugh so much about solids!! When we pick up the dog poo we always rate it on a 1-10, 10 being solid. 😂
Omg I love that 😂😊😂
Have a lovely holiday. I am going to Anglesey tomorrow so hoping this lovely sunshine stays with us.
Happy holidays hope you’re having fun
Have a terrific holiday and I enjoyed listening to your September plans. I see that Minerva have added a range of active wear fabrics to their exclusive range and they look great. 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you! They have loads don’t they such a fab choice
I won’t think of solids the same now🤣 I tend to think of them as block colours
😂😂😂block colours is a much better description
Trying not to laugh out loud, I will never see solids the same now 😂. Our last full day on holiday only managed to unpick one thing but we've been lucky with the weather for most of the time. Jens here and we've been planning our autumn sewing 😊
Hope you had a fab time 😊
Love your plans videos, helps me think about my wardrobe
Awesome! Thank you!
Im trying to decide what to make for Autumn, have some fabrics bought last year which I had forgotten about. Maybe have a look at my SEw Over it pattern collection I have and make something Vintagy / modern. I also do Get Fit With Rick, he is soooo much fun on his you tube videos, I love Bruno Mars , Wham, 80's rock and Tina Turner and Jackson 5 my favs, but they are all so good, I joined the paid platfrom and do the challenges on there would recommend when you are looking for the next step and a bit of structure. 😅
Ooo thanks that’s a great tip
Ha ha I put safety pins in the back after Tilley 's syfia pants instructions ❤ xx
It’s definitely worth it
Loving seeing the September plans. I’ve been thinking all about my autumn plans the last 2 weeks and have already made some peppermint magazine wide leg pants, only to discover that I look like a clown in them because of my short legs 🤣 I’ve cut out a pair of Love Notions Crescendo pants and I’m ready to cut out the Pattern Emporium Ocean Daze oversized shirt in a brushed cotton. I’m still deciding on patterns for the rest of my autumn makes but I have a few ideas. Can’t wait to see your holiday wardrobe 😄💞
Awe no I’ve made those pants - it’s gutting when you make something and you don’t like it
Haha. I always giggle when someone says “do do” as in “I don’t speed, wait, I do do that.” Peds 👩🏻⚕️ nurse. Adult people don’t get it.
😂😂😂
Here in oz ( Queensland)we are heading into spring so I'm getting out the cotton lawn and linen to sew. I have some double gauze ready for some tops but think that it might be too warm for our summers... anyone down under with experience of sewing with double guaze? opinions please 🙃
Love double gauze I’ve used it from dresses and shirts
Ruan the Yorkshire sew girl did a fab vlog all about it a couple of years ago
xXX👍👍👍
Thanks Victoria
hehe...im in healthcare too so i hear you on what we use 'solid' for...trying to find a name so it sounds??? like what..???...so stupid...a plain is a plain, nothing wrong with saying what it is...i dont get why ppl need this drama😂
Totally 😂😂😂
