Yes! I personally loved the designs for Doom Eternal; and it was pretty damn cool, so I like seeing this, maybe create one of the other Doom Weapons, like the Plasma Rifle, Rocket Launcher, The Crucible, Gauss Cannon/Ballista, etc. and if you wanna do an armor piece, maybe the original Doom Marine Helmet, the Marauder Helmet/Mask, or the 2016 helmet.
This build kinda reminded me of the mandalorians blaster and the shotgun video he did in the past. I was playing doom eternal right when I got the notification of this video. Doomguy's gotta have serious grip for all that Rippin' and Tearin'! I love the shine on the barrels It might not have all the rune detailing, but it's still a super impressive build.
If someone else wants to make this and have the hook be detachable, embed an ID tag holder (the one's with a small spool of wire in it) in the chain storage section and attach the end to the hook. And then you can use some small magnets to hold the hook in place.
One episode you need to make something no one in the DIY world has ever fully completed the (Blade of Olympus from God of War) you already have the chaos blades and the Leviathan axe. Why not add to your collection of God of War props as well as your massive sword collection. Also there is nothing better that we like more then a big sword build. Love everything your doing Odin, keep up the great work.

The super shotgun is equally iconic to the BFG, and DOOM 2016 did a great update to the look of the gun. Giving it the meat hook in DOOM just makes it better. This prop did the iconic shotgun some massive justice. The textures and surfaces look exactly like the game model, and the paint job looks very realistic. Man, how do you keep getting better and better with every piece?
You've gotten a lot better at making props since you began the channel. My biggest concern in the past was with the finish of your props, but now, in most cases, they're almost seamless. Keep up the good work.

God that looks so good, I might have to try to make it. For the barrel and getting a good shiny silver, I wonder if the aluminum duct tape would work. There's probably some annoying curves to cut and I doubt you could put it down first and the start gluing all the detail gribblies to the tape. But that and a little buffing with steel wool can make a really convincing metal look
Maybe a fun idea for a future video could be you going back to some older builds and use the video to show how you improve them with extra details and stuff?

Often slim, it may be short or long and most of the time its purpose is to attach the receiver to the buttstock. In old-fashioned sidelock muzzleloading guns, which lack receivers, the tang usually serves to securely attach the rear of the barrel to the stock. The tang often contains some parts of the gun's action, too. For example, many times the tang will contain a thumb-operated safety, springs, and/or portions of the trigger assembly.
I was also thinking of "Full Tang" knives and swords, where the metal of the blade can be seen inside the handle. Funny that it really is called the same thing in a firearm. You could just print the side runes and glue them. If they are raised, you can glue them on small plastic, 1mm maybe and they would look awesome as well.

Just some gun terms in case you ever find yourself making more shotguns 3d printed, the sight "rail" part is usually called the Rib. The breach is the area that the shells are loaded(that's why its called a breach loader). Another then that great video! I always loved Sawn-off shotguns, no matter how ineffective they may be in a real combat situation. PS the Barrel being as big as a PVC pipe would mean that this shotgun is a hell of a lot bigger then 12 gauge, that would mean this gun is a 10 gauge or even 8 gauge(which is insane and bad ass)
For the runes, if you can't get them inscribed with an exacto-knife or a blade, what about using a really, really small rotary tool tip? With how much detail and finesse you've shown in many of your projects, one would think that you'd have steady enough hands to pull off that fine detail.
I've always hoped some company would make a 1:1 BFG replica for commercial sale, even if it was just the one from the movie. Yeah, it would be a huge honkin' replica, it's practically in the name. That's probably why it's never been made for mass production. But it would still be awesome if a company like NECA made it.
Hey Odin to answer question if anyone knows if a shotgun has a tang the answer is yes they do especially in the classic older models. As for how you the paint issue you might want to try mixing in a small amount of either black shoe polish or black acrylic paint with some rub silver rub in buff to see if that’s desired color you want.

you can use styrene glue (very similar to contact cement but less aggressive) to glue insulation foam.
