There is absolutely no law that prohibits a presidential and vice presidential candidate from being from the same state. But the 12th Amendment does prohibit an elector from that state who is casting votes in the Electoral College, from casting a vote for both of those candidates-a necessary step for making their vote count. Since California's huge number of delegates would be very important to Harris (if the nominee) in a close election, this provision would be a disincentive for her in choosing a running mate from California, though again, there is nothing banning it.
Super encouraged by the prospect of voting for a person who will live to see the effects of their actions in office.
A much stronger candidate who would probably not have won the nomination if J Biden had withdrawn a year ago and allowed a proper primary process, her current approval rating is just 39%.
Since Dems wisely rejected Joe because of his mental deficiency why should they listen to his opinion on the candidate.

I believe that Gov. Beshear or Gov. Shapiro would each be strong choices for Vice President, each being middle of the road politically. I do not know Sen. Tammy Duckworth's record but her nomination would be a strong statement to veterans.
