Nice job! I think the first things to get snipped off my sprues will be the barricades and scatter terrain, because they offer a quick “start to finish” satisfaction.
I have all these paints already except for Aggaros Dunes so I will definitely paint my set like yours! Quick and easy, and since it’s scrap, messing up is okay.
My box of Kill Team: Octarius arrived today! I'm thinking about using some oil paints for the scenery, to give it a really, well, oily look. Nice and grimy. But, I may have to try some of those contrast paints, as well as the technical paints. Such rich colours!
Awesome! I reckon oil paints would look great. Contrast over Leadbelcher is a great technique, quick and easy with some nice results. Have fun painting your set!
@@tabletopskirmishgames I've never used contrast paints before, but I'm willing to give them a try. Either way, it looks like I'm gonna need plenty more Leadbelcher!
The green you can see is one coat of Iyanden Yellow over the Leadbelcher. It came out a bit green with one coat. I tried a better technique in the next video for the Ramshackle Barricades if you’d like to check it out. I used two coats of Averland Sunset then one coat of Iyanden Yellow and then the weathering. Quicker and better I think but two different looks. 👊

These are great to practice on ready for the big pieces, very forgiving and fun to paint. Have a great time getting your set ready! 👊

Doing it like this, I used one whole pot on this terrain. A Leadbelcher spray can would save that step if you can get one 👊
@@tabletopskirmishgames Good tip! All i need now are some makeup brushes ))
looks pretty good...... and i just so happen to have a spray can of leadbelcher in the garage.
That would save a good amount of time! Have fun!
what did you use for green metal plates? looks real good, how did you do the yellow met after learning from the barrel failed try?
