    I love this paint job! I wish there were a list of paints used in the description, though. That's always helpful.

    Best looking krieg I’ve seen. Love the weathered and damaged look

    Nice, this is one of the more grimdank styles I have seen, easy to follow along. Will be copying this for sure, thanks.

    Thank you very much for this excellent tutorial. I've used it myself for my own Guardsmen and the results are amazing and exactly what I've been working towards.

    I like it, when I paint mine I'll add a bit of subtle highlight to help break up the different colors, the pants and the jacket seem the blend together for example.

    Absolutely blindin' job John. really nice take on what I see as 'death-korps does cadian' uniform colours.
    its a great way of creating something instantly familiar, as we're all well aquainted with a similar theme from the gw studio cadians, but uniquely viewed through the grimey, deisel-pink lens that is the dkok.
    in fact I'd go as fat to say this is my favourite dkok colourscheme Ive seen yet. very realistic to wartime uniforms and very faithfull to the fluff.
    it is indeed true that the theme of the army does not call for the classic highlighted-to-death paint style but I feel it is also worth pointing out that this is also an ideal way to paint both plastic AND resin dkok so that they will match better together on the tabletop, the grimey weathering hiding the more obvious differances between the two model ranges and casting methods. just food for thought for those who already own some unpainted resins and want to add some plastics to the collection.
    perfect vid for showcasting such a weathering product too.
    its certainly peaked my interest.
    not got hold of these models yet but will when they get a sol-release. then its conversion-time.
    british style helmet headswaps for me. also will most likely do a wartime style camo colourscheme too... ( do check out my dakka dakka thread OSJC's eoforwich 39th pioneers!)
    thanks again for this!

    Hi, realy nice job. One question, wich GW Paints would you use for your paint job to get the same result?

  • @casieofarr
    @casieofarr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    this is the perfect tutorial but what product can I use instead of the ultimate product. I see a few streaking grime but unsure of which to use and what I need to add to it.

    Great video, definietly following this scheme. One question. Where I live there isn´t a shop that sells Ultimate weathering dark dirt wash, and the shipment is very expensive, nearly 6 times the price of the paint. What other paint could work instead of that one? I was thinking about a wash to the entire miniature in Nunl Oil from GW or, giving a mat varnish to the miniature and then apliying a black oil wash and removing a bit with whitespirit

      You can use an oil wash or an enamel wash like AK streak/grime for the same result.
