- Today I'm at Copart Salvage Auction in Newburgh, NY on a mission to find a few salvage Hellcats and Corvettes for LeeC Parts! Dodge Hellcats, Trackhawks, Scat Packs, Vette's to 911 Turbos... This lot has it ALL!
Tell me in the comments if you think this Dodge Demon is worth fixing and how much you'd pay for it totaled as it sits! More importantly, let me know if WE should but it!
I even came across and internet (in)famous Dodge Viper and it doesn't look quite right...

I can tell you why the Demon is totaled. The car was stolen and driven through dealership's bay door. This Demon was 1 of 8 in this configuration. It originally had a backseat, the demon harness bar was purchased and added. My husband was the first owner of this Demon, he did not own it at the time of it being totaled.
Absolute insanity and very very unfortunate!

Personally I wouldn't leave a Typhoon either, but that may be just me.
I would have a hard time leaving that typhoon, but seeing pictures from a past auction with it severely flooded is enough to scare me away on it. It was BAD.

Its a good old 356, worth a ton in unrestored condition with original paint, as for a fire damaged one, probably not worth. Love the content!

I feel sorry as this market is cooling down, and people are stuck with overpriced cars, from salvage car dealers, to breakers, to retail buyers, it's gonna be a bad time.
I’d get that GT-R, if it is indeed a build motor w/ big turbos, that engine is probably worth a good amount of money

The old Porsche is some kind of 356 but it looks like a replica. Perhaps with a boxster drivetrain/chassis hence the boxster registration

went with a friend to pick up a car from copart. We had to go buy a new battery. While we were gone, the forklift hit the car. Frekin awesome. Dothan, Alabama.

I'm a bit skeptical, but I know a lot about BTC. I love the GMC typhoon back in the 90s one of my neighbors had one I was like 15 and dude was like 18. I would always go to his house and listen to the stereo system in it it was red though it was originally black and he bought it wrecked and he wanted to paint it red so that's what he did. See where it said syclone on the motor that would be the GMC Syclone pickup truck same era pretty much the same design except for it was a pickup not a SUV they had the same rims same motor ground effects everything
That GTR is toast. Who knows whats going on with the motor with oil every where. The trans maybe still good, doesn't look like any rear damage. You can get some money for that.
Forget about the C8. What about the yellow Typhoon? Love the C5 wheels on a Sy Ty!

That viper used to be mine before it was wrecked actually. I want to correct the poster.ofnthe video, those were not "very small diameter" aftermarket headers, those were actually SVT long tube headers the best on the market back the . I wrapped them in kevlar heat wrap, had aftermarket ignition and wires on it, full exhaust. JL audio system I sold that car to some dude from CT for $28000 back in 2018-19. I later found out he was a used car dealer who did some minor paint work and flipped it for $32000. Had I know. The market was gonna get stupid, I would have kept it. The issue with the dude paying $23000 for it wrecked is gonna be finding parts for it. You can't find anything for that car unless it's used. If he can source the parts it's gonna cost him $20k+ to fix it.

They struck me as very small in person compared to the 1 7/8 and 2” vette stuff I’m used to working with. But hey, if they make power they make power right!?

@@LeeC yeah there is 10 cylinders as opposed to 8 the exhaust ports are a tad smaller than the vetes. If I recall the pipers were 1-1/2 or 1-5/8th perhaps...they were a pain in the ass to install tho...

As I work for copart in mass I'd say that the cars they zip tie the keys for the pics and then bring the high money keys Into the office !
the 71 300 next to the Demon, I got Fenders for it!
And quarters are the exact same as the widebody challengers that’s the most easy fix and was definitely hit on the street with the door open and pushed into another truck then hit from the rear I need that car asap

I found the Corvette at 5.50 most interesting, in the 1970s/80s a British maker called Austin made a car called an Allegro.
The Allegro had the same shaped steering wheel virtually as this Corvette, sadly the motoring press at the time lauded the design but it later became a bit of a joke and I don't think we have seen the like since, until now in this particular car.
Maybe the design was better than many first thought.

Demon looks like a diversity chasedown and was PITed on the RR quarter spun off the road and the perp opened the door before it stopped to run- door swung way open and wrinkled around the hinges.

B.S. yeah they can, COPART can simply take the keys to the vehicles and lock the doors from preventing someone from taking the keys. Some COPART lots actually do that.

i think of it this way that if someone took the key they know the engine is good and they want everyone eles after them who cant start it wont bid on it
If you guys buy that demon I’d recommend fixing it and reselling it or something that color (f8 green) is one of the rarest colors demons were made in with there only being 122 in said color so you’d make more money fixing and reselling it then parting it.
If we end up with it it’ll 100% be fixed

Personally I prefer Camaro's, mostly due to transformers with Bumblebee, always been my favorite out of them. The Camaro here would be one I'd love if fixed, love my blue, but personally I'd have to have it be Bumblebee's colors.

The drivers side door on the Demon I'd say got hit straight on from the front and slammed it back, I doubt it will actually close, it probably moved the whole A pillar with it, and that's why there are marks on the inside of it where it contacted the other pillar

If you know anything about cars that Camaro has all of the airbags deployed those are extremely expensive to fix tens of thousands. My cousin had a Ford Explorer ST they got into a wreck all the airbags deployed they were almost going to total it but they didn’t because the airbags would cost $12,000 alone.
I noticed a kawasaki klr 400 or 650, is that up for auction as well.
Everything there is, I just don’t know enough about bikes to give a remotely educated opinion on them so I leave them alone in videos.
