Love mine. I’m similar to you as in I only do low miles, but insurance has doubled which is a shame. I’ve kept mine standard. I’m thinking i will probably get a better price if and when you sell. Let face it they are very fast as standard. I can’t see me selling mine atm, they are brilliant cars. I can get 40+ mpg on a run in eco and around town 26. If you flaw it everywhere it will empty your bank account 😅. Mines in a garage like yours. Don’t have ghost though. What’s the costs involved for that ?
Yeah ive got no intention of selling mine, its a joy to drive and always makes me smile and while it can be in garage it doesn't take up drive space. Il probably only cover 4 - 5k miles a year in it. Ghost was £500 and only took around 30 mins to install, I wouldn't be without it, gives peace of mind
Only issue i had was losing coolant which turned out to be a fault with the coolant reservoir cap which is common, cost me £20 to replace from BMW and no issues since. The mileage shouldn't be an issue if the car has been well maintained
It can be expensive to run. With fuel costs now its costs me just over £70 to fill it with shell vpower and I get about 320 mile from that on motorways, local runs at max about 240 miles
Nice car! Exactly the same as mine, but mine doesn't have the sunroof but has the reversing camera and orbit grey wheels. Have you tried sliding the wing mirror button to the left and reversing? It dips the passenger wing mirror 👌
Thankyou. I absolutely love the car and will probably always keep it unless circumstances change. As it just sits in the garage most of time there's no reason not to keep it. Il have a look at the mirror thing as my passenger one always dips when reversing which is great for curbs but a pain when getting in garage or just reversing in general... how long you had yours?
@GazButler sorry Gaz, only just seen your reply as youtube didn't notify me. Had mine for 2 and 1/2 years now. No engine mods bar Afe dry filter and fresh air intake, Maxton style rear deffuser, lowered on motech plus stance and spacers, underbody brace and powerflex yellow diff and sub frame bush inserts. I have the front splitter and side extensions, but not git round to fitting yet. Your garage is super tight. Have you thought about putting bump stop wedges under your rear tyre too as extra insurance?
Yeah it was a concern as a few cars have been stolen on my street. When deciding what to buy, being able to fit in my garage was a priority. Also got ghost fitted to it within a week of buying it
this is the dream spec. orange, sunroof and white leathers. if you ever sell this reply to this message please!

Ok that’s great. Thanks for that. I might look into that then. Thanks for putting out the video 👍
What issues have you experienced? Is 70k mileage too high? Thank you

That's a nice car..👌🏽
Thankyou
I want one, but I couldn't live with 17mpg I only do short runs 😱

@@petef7323 that's a good idea with the bump wedges will look into that
are you worried that these are a bit of a theft magnet? Along with RS3, Golf R, S3 etc.

How reliable is a bmw? Can you take bmws to jungle? And most importantly comeback?💀
Its a good solid car, the engine is reliable but it can have certain issues but aslong as well maintained it should last
