I lived in an apartment once that was full of the toxic mold stachybotrys. I kept getting sicker and sicker. The doctors kept telling me there was nothing wrong with me, it was all in my head. My husband started believing them. He thought I missed him because he was working out of state! I was so week sometimes all I could do was lay on the couch and just shifting position would send my pulse soaring. Then one day after two years of this we came home from dinner out to find the ceiling over the shower had fallen and inside the ceiling was covered with black mold. We left that night to stay in a motel and never went back. I had been taking very hot showers and steaming that stuff into my lungs! So much of this story is so familiar to me. I'm glad she was able to find out what was wrong with her. I hope she got an apology from her husband.
Nurse here. If your doctor ever uses the word, “Idiopathic” when making a diagnosis, find a different doctor. Idiopathic means “relating to or denoting any disease or condition which arises spontaneously or for which the cause is unknown.” In other words, (often) the idiot who made the diagnosis hasn’t put in the effort to identify the cause.
In my opinion one of the saddest parts of this entire story was the husband and how he didn't believe his wife and didn't stand behind her that's deplorable. My wife with all kinds of medical issues and I've always stood by her.
And yes, that means working 12 hour shift cleaning, cooking, it's what a couple does when committed to each other.
Then I remembered he was trying to be an attorney, enough said.
Love, commitment, support. It's tough when things are going well, but days will come, be strong.

Hmm, after re-reading my comment about idiopathic diagnoses, I’m confused by your reply.
There *are* some things that are genuinely idiopathic though, it’s just rare. Always good to get a second opinion.
I love when nurses think they know better than doctors. Plenty of conditions are truly idiopathic. You're just truly an idiot.

Yes. My girls got it, and for two summers, we’ve pulled approximately one Lone Star Tick off of us each day. They’re insane here in Missouri.

I love to listen to these stories at night when its difficult to sleep. Its a side effect of aging. I love your channel. I also hope you and your family are sll well and healthy. God Bless you. Fibromyalgia is definitely a real and serious thing I would know because I have it
Did they ever give you oxytocin for it? Over here they just give you Tylenol and tell you to shut up.
The key to Fibromyalgia is moving and a set of exercises. I was diagnosis at the Mayo Clinic with it back in 2002 with All 18 Pressure points. They sent me to their pain management center for 2 weeks and it worked. Yes I still feel the pain if a pressure point is hit or touched but I haven’t had the constant pain in years and I no longer need the exercises because I keep myself moving. I don’t live in constant pain anymore, don’t take any meds for it and very seldom take any pain killers for it. It doesn’t have to be debilitating or stop your life. Make up your mind to do something about it and most of all don’t just sit around because you hurt, that just makes it worse. Check into a pain management center in your area or check with the Mayo Clinic
You can put it in remission through diet and lifestyle changes - I bet your doctors never told you that.

I was gonna say mastitis. I had the exact same issues. You actually shouldn’t even get antibiotics for it because then you give antibiotics to your baby. If you just massage and pump put warm compresses it’ll clear up. I got it at least 10 times when I was breast-feeding because I make so much milk, they get too full so often, my boobs get clogged.
Always watch out with dogs in general, they can carry a lot of disease aand sometimes eat their own fecal matters.

It depends where you live. Missouri is getting notorious for Lone Star Ticks. My girls BOTH got alpha-gal. One was particularly bad.
If I were Catherine, I honestly don't think that I could ever truly forgive her husband for the way he treated her when she was so sick and vulnerable. He was clearly far more concerned about how her illness was affecting him than he was about Catherine and all the pain, distress, exhaustion, and general suffering she was going through.

Alpha gal is usually self limiting after about a year.
And ironically a carnivore diet can get rid of it.
My girls both got over it. And yes. It took about a year. But adults don’t always fare as well.
