Moonlight sonata is one of the perfect pieces of western classical and need to be handled with utmost care if it needs to be reinterpreted or improvised on. Here he has tread lightly and rightly so. The plaintive violins only accentuate the beauty of this already perfect masterpiece. The guts the lightness of being and the tender care is so evident in this work. I would like to hear more from him on these lines. Paul Mauriat had pop versions that took classical to the masses I think AR will take it to the new generation without diluting it too much. God bless him with more bravery and creativity.

It's a really creative move on ARR's part to have to viola as the soloist instead of the traditional violin. The alto tone of the viola really complements the dark undertones in the first movement.

Awesome dear ARR sirji!! While this piece explores thr first movement - Adagio Sostenuto of Moonlight sonata, the second movement - Allegreto and the third movement - Presto Agitato are completely at a different level of composition. Almost heavy metal!
well this rendition may mean different things to different people and may be fit for different moods . For me on one side it slightly removes the dark and mysterious nature of moonlight sonata and I have always viewed it it as a dark and mysterious piece but on the other hand it adds richness of the violin and because it the composition has got a royal touch . ( By royal touch I mean I can image royal scenery like palaces , throne , etc ). So in my opinion this rendition would suit the theme of a character like Lex Luther .
