Just bought our 5th Hyundai. A 2024 Kona SEL Convenience in Mirage Green with Silver interior. Traded a 2022 Elantra SEL Convenience. Had the Kona for 2 weeks now......Love it, love it, love it. Lost some MPG's, but no complaints. Great video review, by the way !!
We bought the LTD FWD version in April so slightly different options than the SEL. Very comfortable, plenty of pick up, easy to get in & out of being slightly higher up. Interstate MPG has been 37 according to the on board computer. Negatives for us are overkill on the infotainment screen. Too much info & too many options & not the most intuitive. If you like gadgetry with dozens of options and tiles to change, you'll love it, we don't! Also the light clusters are to way low down & vulnerable to parking lot bumps and the rear has a visibility issue. No spare, which has already caused us problems if you have a flat.
I bought the Neoteri Yellow Saturday. I love the car! I don’t hate the color; I’m hoping since I live in Chicago no one will want to steal the bright yellow car? I call him big bird. No complaints, still learning car.
I honestly love the monochromatic look. That's what caught my eye. I love that it looks so sleek and high maintenance. I love that haha but I do love your video! My first time watching! You did great! Thank you 😊
I test drove the identical car and color. My wife wants the electric one when her lease is up for n her ‘23 Kona Electric. I like the overall re design a lot. I like the light gray interior. I do wish it had come darker trim pieces. I’m looking forward to the Hybrid version. I have upgrade to that myself from my ‘21 Elantra Limited Hybrid.
I think it is an exciting design. H-K 2.0 L engine is sweeter sounding and less raspy than most. IVT works well and is an H-K design. Needs a dark grey or black interior. Like the column shifter shifter and more efficient and less glare producing headlamp positioning Cladding is a bit eye watering but look at a far worse mess on Subaru Crosstrek and Outback..it might be polarizing, too. Recall base model is more modest or pick a dark color. I would buy a base Tucson but this is an exciting design..also roomy and airy. I would forgo Convenience Package, AWD and wheel locks. As always, your reviews set a high standard!
I got the 2024 SE Hyundai Kona, I love my car, I think that car is not selling because of the awful greenish yellowish colour, I have dark grey colour and it look so much better
@@chabbysrides I was lucky enough to rent the old generation kona 2 years ago fell in love with the car, and this year I was lucky enough to buy the new generation and they made all the right upgrades in my opinion
NOT a fan of the color. Sat inside a Kona Limited AWD last December (while my 2022 Kona Limited getting a free oil change) -- kept singing "We all live in a yellow submarine....." That being said, I do not like the interior, as I prefer a mixed color pattern. Bigger than my current Kona and would probably go with the KIA Niro PHEV or EV instead. Much nicer vehicle; me thinks Hyundai shot themselves in the foot with this ugly design. Looks like you're driving a Sherman Tank, not a SUV.

Since januari 12 I own a 2024 Kona Hybrid Premium (I live in the Netherlands) and I really really like the car and all it's features
Glad you’re enjoying it. Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
The interior has a very luxurious look withe light gray. IMHO of course.

Unless you live in the EU, there is no hybrid Kona available in the U.S. and Canada.

Congratulations! Glad you’re enjoying it. Agreed. The yellow is a tough color to sell.

Do you have your car play? Cuz I don’t.
😅
You may need a data cable for initial set up but it will be wireless after that.
With the same mechanic, the Kia Seltos is better for more space room

Thanks for the feedback Steve. I agree with you.
Nice review for an ugly vehicle. The Tucson looks better.
