  • We rode with friends on the South Lake Trail from Clermont to Minneola and around Lake Minneola to the end of the trail and back. Every year that we come to ride, we include this trail mostly for the lake views. There are some stunning sunsets as it sets across the lake too. This trail connects or turns into the West Orange trail at Kilarney Station which can provide a full day of riding.

Thank you. I really enjoyed this video. I recently retired from the Post Office and am an avid cyclist planning on moving to Florida. Your videos are so helpful in showcasing all the wonderful destinations Florida has to offer.

Subscribed here. Wish you used the larger of two typical closed captains.
    Thanks for the ride-along video!
Love my Hase Lepus trike here. Limited mobility senior.

I trike in hilly NE Ohio. I love how Floridians refer to overpasses as steep hills! Lol..

The Clermont, FL area does have some hills and the Santos Trail up by Ocala has a few climbs.

When riding the trail it would be nice to know what road is nearby.

The video started out running along N Hancock Rd near Old Hwy 50 W Clermont.
