Ed Cycles South Lake Trail

S2E8. The South Lake Trail is approximately 12.7 miles in length and is located in southeastern Lake County. The east end is located at the Orange/Lake County line with Killarney Station as the trailhead. This beautiful trail goes through unincorporated Lake County, the city of Minneola, the city of Clermont and the city of Groveland. Ride along with Ed as he rides the entire length and explores the Citrus Tower, the Minneola trailhead, the murals at the US27 underpass, Waterfront Park, downtown waterfront Clermont, the Clermont Historic Village and the Lake Hiawatha Preserve. And don't forget the beautiful section along the shore of Lake Minneola!
The entirety of this trail is on the Florida Coast to Coast route and is a useful preview for those planning to ride the C2C. If you are planning to ride the C2C, also watch the Ed Cycles videos on the West Orange Trail, on the Orlando Gap and on the SR50 Gap.
