Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Kara, you are such an inspiration! From trying all kinds of weird food to hiking crazy high mountains, fishing for piranha, holding bugs, and doing all the other crazy adventure activities to getting up in front of a group of strangers to do an unchoreographed dance that like- you are fearless. Love watching all your adventures and so inspired by all that you do!

I don't understand why people are complaining about sponsored videos. I would love to see as many sponsored videos as possible by different companies every single day. . Hotels, cruises, trains, restaurants, airlines, resorts, etc. . It would make for a variety of great content which wouldn't be possible otherwise. .
Complaints about sponsored videos seems to me like complaining an accountant gets a paycheck from the company they work for. This is their work and I'm happy to get to enjoy seeing the world through their eyes.
It's called jealousy.
Because people who care about the world want to know the truth, that's why. If I'm spending US$12,000 on a jungle cruise, I'll choose carefully. Is the crew paid and treated fairly? What happens to the trash on board? Raw sewage? Are their practices compatible with Amazonian sustainability? You may not care. But a lot of us do. Kara and Nate seem like really nice fun people. But the reality is that you and I don't know them at all.

@@rciastko7375 Yeah I'm pretty sure if I got to make a living travelling around the world and companies were putting me on their promotional materials, giving me constant free upgrades and exclusive packages so I can share the experience with 1.6m people. I'd probably sparkle like a bloody unicorn lol
Atmosphère over sea is way better than in America, as far as I noticed. I traveled to many countries and I find out my skin breaths better and looks better than in America. It what changed me as a person who doesn’t wear much to minimal makeup. 👍🏼

Every once in a while Kara will have makeup on, but it just doesn't seem right when it happens. Happy, healthy, and young!

We just came back from an 8-day Lindblad NatGeo expedition on the DelfinII. The best trip of our lives! I love your video, wish we watched before our cruise. 😊

Awesome cruises and safaris you go on. Love how you are able to go and get upgraded to these sweet rooms that would cost the normal person $10,000! So glad that I get to watch you guys enjoy it, I doubt I'll ever afford to take any of these trips. ;)

Love kara and her total ability to embrace life, she makes me smile through my painful days of my health condition. Nate and kara thank you for showing me things i could never see anywhere else and the way you both respect the culture and environment of everywhere you have visited too is amazing. Still making my way through from your very first video. Youve seriously got me through some very difficult days and especially the nights when being in pain feels so lonely and miserable, all i have to do is watch you both in videos like this and it lifts my spirit and shows me how magical the miracle of this world truly is. I still think it's neat (as an American) how seamlessly Kara & Nate switched to using the metric system in their measurements of length and distance. I wonder when that decision was made (it must have been at the beginning of their vlog) or if they were just taught using the metric system somehow?
