I went with 5 machine guns, 2 srm 6, 4 er med lasers, 2 er large lasers. Armor was about 650 or so, can’t remember off the top of my head but it was very tanky. I like to brawl, and when my mechs running hot switch to machine guns when at close range. This build worked perfectly until the very late game on expert mode - never died.
I put the Timby with 9*MPL, all Pulse laser, Heat cooling/dissipation Research... never able to overheat with less than 20 enemies on Jayden?... Yepp, so put it on Ezra with his Energy cooldown and bam, dps is just maxed out for the weight class. Very very nice.

I loaded up my Timber Wolf with a healthy mix of armor and pulse lasers. That thing carried me through the end of the campaign.

This build is excellent and is carrying me through the later missions of the campaign where I previously struggled.
I did 9 lazers like u did and maxed out the armour to make it a close ranged brawler.

I used 5 war hawks with er larges and a crap ton of armor and heat sinks after getting wrecked hard on this mission trying to brawl lol.
Not just more zoom. We also want "Image enhancement". 😁

I dont know HOW but I keep forgetting you can swap pod parts on each limb. I need to remember that...

its so weird that most people ran big ultras in mw4 but its mostly vomit in this game despite mostly close engagements.
Clan laser tech has no ammo issue, better range, more precision damage, and nearly matches the damage output especially on a per ton basis
