Hi Dave 🥴. You might not believe this but I am just now going to try and make some of this tape. I just bought a pack of “ Ada-Rondstat” Lol 😝 alcohol inks yesterday. That’s my crafty job for today. Hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗
You really have a talent for ageing things convincingly. I’m still thinking about the faux mould you created last week ! 🦠. The aged Sellotape just tugs at my heartstrings , reminding me of loved books from my childhood and cherished photographs in old, tattered albums. 🗞📚. Thank you, Dave ❣️
I am so glad you liked it, I love that ‘time machine’ we jump into when we have such a tangible memory. Aged sellotape does a similar thing for me, but it’s a Perry Como LP on a Sunday afternoon, at my grandmas flat 😊 🤗
@@DashofDave1 well I thought it went well and then as I stuck it down on a project and rubbed the tape all the ink came off 🤦♀️🤷♀️ was fun to do but sadly didn’t really work. Oh well nothing ventured noting gained!
If you use alcohol inks and let it dry completely it won’t rub off, it seems to work better with off brand sticky tape by the way. I personally have never had an issue with it rubbing off, I use Tesco tape and Adirondack alcohol inks, then dry them thoroughly with a heat gun and leave them for about 24 hours before using them. I use lots of it in projects and haven’t had an issue thus far. 🤗
@@DashofDave1 thank you . Maybe I should leave it until tomorrow then! I did use actually sellotape as that is what I have atm. I did use alcohol ink I also used some alcohol markers as an experiment. Haven’t binned it yet so will see. Thanks for the feedback 😊
Great informative video. Can't wait to try this, thank you.
