these are amazing we got a pair a months ago from an audio shop and they sound incredible for like 150
I actually really dig the cable. I have the Moondrop Kato’s and trying to use that cable live while performing proved to be a pain in the neck bc the cable would slide off your back any time you leaned over. That cable is dense enough with enough weight to loosen the inear seal. This cable, while being less regal and more tangly, is perfect for live use for a singer. For me personally, they got everything right, imo.
I just returned the Kato. We’re slightly harsh and grainy on the upper mids. Thin mids too.
I’m interested in the Alba.

The stock tips really don't fit the barrel, and the wire is like the sort you get with cheap Christmas lights. They do sound great though, and the dongle is powerful.
There is a left/right indicator. Where you plug the cable into the IEM is a coloured plate. Red plate matches with the red indicator on the cable.

I rewatched and I can't blame you. THEY SOUND LIKE MEZE 109 or Baby EMPYREAN. Soft, wide, warm, gengle detail, loving soundstage, they bring tears on sad music and let you bang your head with METAL.. its so good.

@@gertost Hi mate. Ive owned a lot of tws, Momentum 2, APP2, PI7 S2, MW08, and ive compared them to the $100-$1500 iems i own. The Moondrop May is superior to any tws ive owned, momentum, PI7 S2 (which most agree sounds better than the Momentum anyway). The wired IEMs are just in another class. The Alba is >> May, so I expect the gap to be even wider with those.

I also have some problems with vith connectivity with tidal and Spotify. Im almost thinking about going vinyl. So tired of Bluetooth and streaming problems. Almost bought the smashing pumpkins album, mellom collie and the infinite sadness on vinyl this morning. But managed to keep calm and not push on the buy now button 😂😂😂 Dont even have an vinyl player 🤪 But maybe someday ill go all back to analog and wired ☺️😁

They graph very similar to the EPZ Q5, and basically the same shape...I wonder if the supplier is the same
Measuring similar doesn't mean they sound alike . Only so many ways the lines can wiggle.

Not at all. The q5 was a copy of the meze one. It's an European company . And now this is the 2nd version. So China copy the design. The price of the first meze was 1.5 k or something like that.
They do look/graph slightly similar - but they measure about as different as they look, as in, at a glance, you could mistake them, but there are some spikes and couple dB peaks on the EPZ that arent on the Alba, so I suspect the EPZ might be a bit more bright/harsh. Thats just speculating though - point is there are differences big enough to be audible even if they appear similar.
@LordVictorHalgaard yes. You right. On the epz I have to place 2 filters. Mesh and sponge inside the nozzle to taim that treble

I've been waiting patiently for these to come out and be reviewed, bc I'm a big DD iem fan and obviously this company is known for high quality and these are actually affordable, so...
