I noted you mentioned to have a group NPI for your agency if you’re a nurse. I am a LPN in Philadelphia and just filed to have a personal one done. Should I correct this ?
If you are starting a business…you need a business NPI. If you are working as a nurse contractor etc than the individual NPI is fine.
FYI: you can have both, if applicable.

I recommend contacting them…it depends on the specifics of the new business.
When applying what do we select for non medical homecare for npi
It depends on what part of the application you are completing. Visit the NPI’s website, they have a tutorial on completing the application. Their customer service is amazing!
Can you operate without workers compensation

I already have an NPI number because of professional work as a therapist. Would I need to get another NPI number to enable me to get Medicaid certification?
Yes you’ll be the home care / home health taxonomy code. Apply as a comply type 2
My homecare agency NPI number is displayed on google. I don't know how it got there. Is it okay to be there? If no, how do I delete it? Please help.
