The sound is unreal live isn't it? There just, isn't audio gear able to record or reproduce the ferocious whine along with that low power that hits U in the chest I'm sure!! Worth 2 hrs in the rain for :)

The driver can't start the engine on an F1 car, there is no self-starting mechanism, a mechanic behind the car plugs a starting gun into it. Also the driver can't fasten his own seat belts there is not enough room in the cockpit, he can undo them of course with a rapid release which springs open the six-point harness.
