after a certain point they become different games; dont compare them. its like the argument between the modern versions of minecraft vs. 1.8.9, they serve different purposes in different peoples' hands
@@pipluptoggled 1.8 is honestly just nostalgia 1.12 best for modding overall 1.16 is best for a "full game" vanilla experience before it was over bloated. nether was finally cool and the update came in tandem with minecrafts boom in popularity 1.20.1 or 1.19.2 best for exclusive mods like dh, immersive portals, terratonic, so on. fortnite isnt quite comparable to minecraft though. with modern minecraft versions, its popularity saw a peak comparable to the og days of minecraft. same cannot be said about fortnite, it hasnt peaked more than its og days in recent. no build was simply a cope to keep players on the game because skill issue, literally. people complain about bad games but also cry when you actually have to spend hours learning a game to get good at it. welcome to why we get such surface level slop nowadays. shortform content and its mentality has leaked into gaming. people no longer want games that you have to learn to get good at, and would much rather have games their immediately good at, then dump it in a year avg because the game literally has no depth to its mechanics with mechanics you master in 10 hours then get bored of. mechanics that dont separate themselves from any other game so when people go to play the game it already feels familiar, welcome to why titanfall 2 never got popular, was too confusing for people. fortnites stand out mechanic was building, but people literally sucked balls and werent willing to god forbid dump 50+ hours to get good at it, talk about short attention spans. now, with nobuild, its just like any other game and its fundamentals. let me ask you, if a pubg player moved from pubg to fortnite, what do you think they would be better at? obviously no build because it already what their used too, and learning how to build would be even more detached from pubg than just pubg with cartoon graphic and slightly more movement mechanics. i hate it when this generation complains about games when i know full well it all on them. companies are they way they are because they profit off what they make, if players didnt actually like the way modern gaming was shifting, than gaming companies would be going bankrupt by now, money speaks. modern minecraft sucks because theyve been shown that adding trivial bs all the time is better than adding huge game changing updates as consistency and repetition beats creativity and risk taking. modern fortnite sucks because players had such short attention spans they couldnt cope with people who were actually good at the game and bother to learn. so they went the safer less risky route by removing unique mechanics.
Zero build is a tool for both beginners and the best. When you play with beginners you can enjoy the fun of Fortnite without the worries of people building apartment complexes whenever you shoot at them. While for decent players it helps teach them how to become a better beginning game player. (ie. no mats, using trees & rocks for cover, quick scopes)
I dont think zero build requires less skill than build, it just requires a different kind of skill, for example, in build you have to build a 5 star hotel, but in zero build you have to swich covers and play more strategic
The thing is that in builds you dont have to be crazy at building, you just have to be smart with the stuff you know. Its enough to know a great double edit, some easy retakes and you have to have a understanding of peaks. With that, you can probably get to elite.
@@AMBYSTARthey're less demanded. As such, build players tend to neglect them. I've had moments with friends where i won against crazy edit builders simply cause i utilized their own builds against them to land a shotgun or sniper hit before then getting aggressive while they try to reset.
That's a good way to sum it up. I've never been a fan of building like the pros do it, but I like to use the environment to my advantage and have good skill with guns, so zero build is more appealing to me.

BR as a genre is incredibly RNG, especially if you're dropping anywhere remotely populated. Someone gets a gatekeeper off spawn wins almost every fight, if they have thumbs, vs anyone who has something other than a striker or dual uzi. There isn't a whole lot of skill in the pure gunplay of fortnite because its so forgiving and easy to hit shots. There is plenty of skill to playing a BR, but its like comparing fortnite to chess when you compare builds to no builds. One has exponentially more skill expression, and mechanics to actually counter kamikaze players.
you saying getting beamed is "unlucky" isn't true 90% of the time, most of it was needing better positioning or awareness. as a zb player, builds definitely has a higher skill ceiling, but you shouldn't call zero builds bad just because it requires a different type of strategy than youre used to
Zero Build plays completely differently than Builds. You need to play for position and have good gunplay and a bit of luck. Getting third partied in Zero Builds is also far more brutal than builds. Being the third party will get you a lot of kills if you play it right. Also, top 3 is probably the most intense part of the game.
@therealdrk01 The only way to never get third partied is to never fight until the final dude, but that's a very boring way to play. Have a controlled aggression in ZB, ie pick and choose which fights to engage rather than fighting every fight.
@@glowstonebomberNot true, you should pick the fight if there aren’t others around. Many times I can tell when there are other people so I don’t fight.
Good zero build players never get beamed or third partied because this game mode teaches you to pay a lot more attention to where everyone is, everybody is hopping between points of cover through the storm circles, eventually running into others resulting in fights and that repeats until the game ends
ZB Is the reason I'm playing the game right now. I remember my first game in 2018, shot an unaware dude for 15 damage with a pistol and he built an Empire States in 2 seconds...
People just have a huge hatred for something that isn't "normal" battle royale or whatever. They, including this guy, needs to respect the skills zero build players have, and just let us be.

I wish I got more players like swans in my zero build lobby as I would win every game. He got lucky against players who used shields and were not very good.
I have won build without even building but I would not be able to do that against pro players. Build players are easy to kill in zero build because they lack ability to survive without hiding behind walls, which is not really a skill. All that practice just to avoid damage is boring.

@MajinUltraEgo No, they're just tired of people building castles when a bullet arrives at them. And don't tell me it's just skill, because you can literally build iron walls that are quite indestructible if we consider the ardour and the speed of a battle. They are just two different types of skills: firing with a good aiming (because if you get wrong in a duel face to face, you cannot build a wall in the middle) and using environment at your vantage for zero build, and speed in building and in thinking (bacause of the speed of the battle and of building) in Battle Royal with building.

Zero Build is all about good use of cover and mobility. If you always have an escape plan and you know when to retreat (for build players, this is their builds), you won't ever be ambushed. Also if you engage in combat in an open situation with no cover, it's a coin flip for whoever wins.
I argue zero build is way better because you actually have to focus on your surroundings for cover. You or the enemy can't just throw up walls. You have to use trees, boulders, and buildings for cover. It requires you to think fast and reposition quickly, getting the better angle on your enemy. You no longer have to worry about get boxed and it's just raw combat. It still feels like fortnite, it's just a different way to play.
To me, Zero Build is more of a place for people who don't have time and or patience to practice building and are able to actively enjoy the game. Also it seems to take more skill to me because you cannot just summon cover out of thin air, you must always be active on your position and being able to make use of the resources placed on the map, also for people who only focus on their aim
I was never good at building. I always had the mindset of making a small build to protect myself to heal and then go out and fight, not to build a tower after getting hit once, so zero build feels more fun to me because you actually rely on fighting more than building.
positioning is also important in build bro. u can get beamed so easily, yes some might cranck hight but just break it down and if the box up and box fight you thats a compleatley fdifferent skill than just build fighting bro zero build is easy u only need aim and positioning builds need muscle memory aim positioning constant check on material so you dont get beamed and understanidng of the fundamentals of building
What skills? lmao, Zero Build players are people who been playing but quit the regular mode because they sucked at the game, meaning those guys have no skill, stop trying to implement skill when it isn't there lmao
@@Wyorrs I just don't think building is that fun. Not that builders have no life or anything, I know I suck at building, but it's one of those situations where I simply enjoy the meta without building more than the meta with building; this debate just boils down to different tastes and doesn't have anything to do with laziness.
I think that it’s more that zero build requires a different skill set that is easier to learn without a lot of practice than build. By a different skill set that’s easier to learn without a lot of practice I mean that you can just go in game and get good by playing the game, rather than having to practice builds in creative.
Bro complains about how hard zero build is, and shows that he struggled to rank up as fast as he would've in build, but then still is like, "Nah bro, it's all luck. Zero Build is easy." 💀
Positioning and game sense are skills. And you need it way more in ZB than BR. If you die to a sniper in 1 shot, it's your fault. There was NO LUCK involved, just bad positioning every single time you got shot in the ass.
Getting sniped and not getting sniped is honestly a 50/50. You can snipe someone met ń headshot without any skill, or you can miss a shot because the enemy is just sprinting and sliding. Most of the time, it is luck. Especially because of the insane bullet drop on snipers. You can hide in the center of the bush where NO ONE can see and you can still be sniped. 50/50. You can crouch at the right time just to dodge a sniper bullet with no intent on dodging a sniper bullet. Sure SOME skill may be involved. But it’s mostly luck 9:10 . Swans could’ve killed that guy but he missed BARELY even though it was such an easy shot. His opponent could’ve killed Swans but he just didn’t get a headshot even though Swans was crouching. So that comes to my conclusion, there is a lot of luck involved when it comes to sniping. If you’re getting beamed out in the open, tough luck. A player can still snipe you even if you take cover anyway. You can be sprinting and a passing sniper bullet just happens to kill you with no intent on killing u. It’s either u miss or u don’t. U can get sniped from a guy on top of Mount Everest
if you want to get better awareness you have to move around ruining your current position and cuz fortnite was originally made for builds it has a more open vibe so repositioning requires mobility that litteraly makes you teleport, in builds you cant really "ruin your position" cuz you can make a new position whereever you go I'll admit ZB obviously requires some skill but build is harder as you have to get used to building and editing not saying playing ZB is a bad thing if you aren't good at the game and just wanna play for fun its fine but just be ready to admit it is easier than build (btw this is an actual suggestion play valorant instead of fn if u wanna play ZB what makes fn fn is the creative element of building valorant is designed to match not building and has more natural cover things like COD and overwatch are also fine.) like clix once said "fn is MADE FOR BUILDING if the person in front of you has decent aim and is pointing a sniper at you you cant really dodge it if their aim is actually good whereas in other game they give you more cover to block instead of dodging the shot" obviously this isnt exactly what clix said but the context and meaning are the same. no offense to ZB players some of you could even beat us with ur aiming and awareness even in build

My thought is to use rocks and trees for cover not just standing out in the open cause you say you had to no cover but its like yea you shouldnt just stand out in the middle of the open cause you cant build and wont always reliable have bunkers i dont think i have ever considered getting killed unlucky when im out in the open lol
What was bro supposed to do being held by another team in an area with no cover and he found no bunkers. The rntire area is open, we bro just supposed to not rotate? The mistake with fortnite zero builds is that they dont have cover everywhere. In any other shootergame the environments are constructed with cover in every inch of the joint.
Yeah. He just doesn't sound like he wants to acknowledge his mistakes or aquire the different skill set that is no builds. He sounds like he relies on building to get him out of bad situations he put himself in which he says are unlucky. He's definitely a biased builds player that can't strategize or position correctly without building.
No one ever said that Zero Builds is harder than Builds, but it’s also not easier than Builds either. They both have completely different gameplay loops and play completely differently in general. With Builds, the difficulty obviously comes from all the crazy amounts of Building which means needing to be quick with your fingers and able to really think fast so you don’t mess up your builds. But Zero Builds requires you to have more accuracy with your weapons, actually having spatial awareness of what’s around the current area you’re in and what can be used for cover, as to not just leave yourself out in the open (where you claim it’s just luck, when it really isn’t), learning how to better utilise utility items for movement and such, and truly getting good with your movement. All Builds really requires is that you get good at your building along with more close quarters combat through walls, which honestly might be one of the hardest things in the game to do due to how much precise button mashing is required, but Zero Builds requires you to get good at basically everything else in the game. Thus, both modes are equal in difficulty. Anytime I see someone shit on Zero Builds, I’m heavily convinced they haven’t touched another PVP shooter in their whole lives if they really don’t realise how Zero Builds requires all the fundamental skillset of the shooter genre, while Builds requires a different skillset.
@@MajinUltraEgo Nowhere even close to the same amount that you need in Zero Build. The terrain around you really doesn’t matter all that much when you can just build, genius. The only thing you would adapt to is whether your outdoors or indoors.
People who hate no builds are the very reason people hate builds a lot of people enjoy a casual play of fortnite and don’t care about constantly winning which people who play build very obviously do because building wouldn’t be as gross as it is today if they didn’t

Zero build focuses on your movement, ability to find cover, and game-sense. It's pretty much a different game compared to builds, and while some parts are easier, you do need to train different skills to get good at zero build.
Zero build just requires a different mindset and when you get to higher rankings almost everyone basically has aimbot even my friend who is unreal in builds won’t play zero builds just because he doesn’t want to get beamed anytime he is in a fight
@MajinUltraEgo No. Use cover. Don't just run into an open field and start shooting. Run to a tree and start shooting from a position you can use to strategically poke your gun out from. It's literally the same thing you do in builds, except you find the position of cover rather than spontaneously generating it. You don't have to be campy about it. You can dart from cover to cover while attacking, not just hiding in a bush and hoping the enemy leafs you alone. Does the order of actions I suggested at the time I specified really sound like camping to you? 1. Notice there's a shed and a tree 2. Go to shed or tree 3. Look at cat gliding in (implied shooting at cat) To be fair though, reaper sniper meta is toxic
Zero build is the only reason I started playing this game because I used to hate it. Now I hop on some Zero Build with the boys every couple of days to play and shoot the shit. Not everyone wants to take the game THAT seriously.
zero build takes out a hard to learn mechanic, builds, so in a way its easier, but it brings new problems, you have to use the cover the game provide, position yourself better and a lot more things that become harder so to me its just different, both gamemodes can be hard, build is just more mechanics and no build is more about position mouvement etc
Everything you complain about in zero builds is what I complain about in builds. For you: I get caught out without cover and I'm dead. For me: If I start a fight with great position, start beaming my opponent, they just build a tower and flip the fight. Same complaint basically but different skills. Zero build requires better game sense, positioning, utility item usage. In build mode you can use building to lesson the impact of positioning yourself poorly. I'm trying to learn to build now and my main problem is that learning it feels more like a job rather than an enjoyable experience as a beginner in 2024
I know this was posted 7 months ago, but this comment still applies. Zero Builds is much more focused on playing off the environment, not creating a new one. These two game modes can't be compared because they're played completely differently. Zero Builds also isn't mostly luck, it is highly dependent on your positioning. At 4:16 you said "Got absolutely lasered from behind. How am I supposed to defend myself against this? I don't know." The thing that got you killed was your positioning, not the person behind you. You were wide open and someone took advantage of that. That is not the game's fault. It's yours. If you were hiding behind some object you wouldn't have died so quickly. You might've actually had a fighting chance. As someone who plays Rainbow Six: Siege, positioning is a crucial skill. You need to be aware of the map and your surroundings. You always need a getaway plan. The same applies here to Zero Builds. I am not comparing Siege to Fortnite, I am taking knowledge from another game and applying it here because they play similarly when talking about the environment. You are completely wrong to compare these two game modes, and try to end the debate with something that ultimately proves nothing other than your gunskill and positioning because those are the core pillars of Zero Builds. If you don't have decent aim or situational awareness, you will lose. Zero Builds is much simpler and has a lower skill ceiling, and Builds is much more complex and has a high skill ceiling, but they are not comparable.
So you're basically saying "just camp" lmao What skills? Zero Build players are people who been playing but quit the regular mode because they sucked at the game, meaning those guys have no skill, stop trying to implement skill when it isn't there lmao

I only play zero build because i can't build. This was back then when zero build wasn't around. And when i got into a gun fight and the guy started making a twin tower i just run away. If i 1v1 a last build sweatlord i just stand under his building while he busy making tallest building until the circle forces him to go down and kill himself because he runs out of resources.
Ive seen others say it, but zero build is uncomparable to builds, it req. a different strategy and is more sniping and stealth based, i swap modes regularly based on how i feel
No build mode makes it an even match for all platforms, while build mode seems to be more pc favoured as you can literally build round fast with just a flick of a mouse. Love playing the no build mode as it makes it an intense battle while build mode, I just give up the moment someone builds defence and got no idea where the player could attack from while using up my ammo or switching to pickaxe.
@@BoneyPCadvice that's why it's best to play smart and keep away from open areas as if you get spotted, it's run to safety before engaging or try to survive the battle. At least you can last a little longer than in COD warzone as you get killed before attempting to fight back.

People only call zero build easy is because its easy to learn movement and positioning as opposed to insane editing and building and piece control nonsense it takes less skill to get good at zero build, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy, it’s just different and easier to learn, in build all you really need is a shotgun and maybe a spray weapon and then the rest heals, zero build requires you to use your inventory slots well with a balanced load out of weapons and mobility As for the more luck base ideology, your positioning is key in all situations, standing in the open picking your nose will get you beamed easily, you need to be shifting between cover and remain aware of your surroundings at all times, can’t do that? repeatedly dealing with players cranking 5,000 90's and build an entire city in 0.03 milliseconds just because they saw me doesn't look like much fun to me
I feel ZB is based on constantly moving, with Builds you can easily build cover. ZB you are at the mercy of the storm, if storm has horrible placement you have to plan your next moves carefully.
I love zero build I am a diamond 1 in ranked, I used to play build semi professionally back early chapter 2 before burnout hit and made me leave until OG, and I feel zero build is easy yes but it also requires skill to last in late game, communication, knowing when to fight or not, playing to strengths, build is too hard to enjoy especially from a returning comp builder because everyone is either extremely skilled or can't even build, the skill celling for build is a lot harder to reach as you need to find a good bind setup, practice for hours doing 90's, perches, edits, and so much either junk that it is easier to go comp/pro in Zero Build before you even master builds
It serves purposes for players who want to have a care free shoot out and just chill but if you wanna have challenge and skill you have battle royal dont fix whats not broke
I haven’t played zero build for months I’m used to using builds to evade when I’m in danger I remember the last time I played zero builds I remember thinking to myself how exposed I was but I may give zero build another go at some point today.
Yeh friends forced me to play zerobuild for a while and i just dont enjoy it, and overshield is a pain to deal with especially if im in a 1v2 and im hitting a person for over 200 To me builds is fun just for the practice and if i die to someone whos better theres nothing wrong with that
In Builds, you need great mechanics and quick thinking, in ZBuilds you need awareness and good aim, both things can cross into eachother, like using mechanics and quick thinking in ZBuild (slide kick and reaction time) and using awareness and good aim in Builds (listening closely and tracking) but I prefer builds, as I feel more comfortable building a boxfights arena around me in tough fights
Zero build basically is a normal shooter it comes down to who can shoot better and us movement to avoid dieing and to cover behind stuff and you don't have to worry about the building part they both take skill in their own right
What skills? lmao, Zero Build players are people who been playing but quit the regular mode because they sucked at the game, meaning those guys have no skill, stop trying to implement skill when it isn't there lmao
Zero build ranked is easier in my opinion because you can just camp and as long as you get 1 kill you will rank up. but its also a lot more time consuming almost anyone could get to unreal in it but it depends on how much time they spend on it. Battle royale on the other hand is harder to get unreal but less time consuming depending on your skill.
nah…build mode is for nerds/super sweats, zero build still has sweats but it’s at least playable for people who don’t spend 12 hours a day on Fortnite 😂
I started playing the game in chapter 5 since me and my friend wanted to play something and he used to play up till chapter 4. Both modes are good but they're wildly different in tactics and playstyles. I wouldn't say either is easier because they play wildly differently from each other. At this point zero build and build mode aren't the same they even have different metas because they're so different, arguing which is easier is dumb as ultimately players of each mode will think the other is easier. As a zero build player i like the focus on tactics and awareness in zero build as opposed to the fight of who spends more time practicing build edits. Just my thoughts as a newer slightly casual player
Zero build is the best way to make it so that everyone has a fair chance of winning. It's no longer a game of who can smash their keyboards to make a 1:1 recreation of the twin towers, plane and all. But instead, its a game of pure aim skill and fast thinking
I feel like the people who say build is "just build a 5* hotel" genuinely dont understand the mechanics of building/editing/ or piece control. Go ahead and build a giant tower and see what happens to you in a decent build lobby.

In normal if youre good at building but not as good with aim that will take you far enough but in zero you have to have good aim and good movement to shine
Zero build isnt completely luck based at all, but the thing that annoys me is when players abuse the mythic items and blast you with all these weapons at once (not requiring any skill to use) without using a single gun.
Yes it is if someone has the the faster time to kill weapon or got lucky with the circle on them in endgame that’s luck zero build just shows how flawed Battle Royale games are because it heavily relies on luck. Building in Fortnite would counter this rng aspect of the game to where if you where better at building and editing you could outplay someone with who had better weapons this current season is especially luck based in zb to where if you don’t have a jet pack you don’t win
They should do a no snipers gamemode too or nerf blue bolt actions. 1.20.1 or 1.19.2 best for exclusive mods like dh, immersive portals, terratonic, so on.
fortnite isnt quite comparable to minecraft though. with modern minecraft versions, its popularity saw a peak comparable to the og days of minecraft. same cannot be said about fortnite, it hasnt peaked more than its og days in recent. no build was simply a cope to keep players on the game because skill issue, literally.
people complain about bad games but also cry when you actually have to spend hours learning a game to get good at it. welcome to why we get such surface level slop nowadays. shortform content and its mentality has leaked into gaming. people no longer want games that you have to learn to get good at, and would much rather have games their immediately good at, then dump it in a year avg because the game literally has no depth to its mechanics with mechanics you master in 10 hours then get bored of. mechanics that dont separate themselves from any other game so when people go to play the game it already feels familiar, welcome to why titanfall 2 never got popular, was too confusing for people.
fortnites stand out mechanic was building, but people literally sucked balls and werent willing to god forbid dump 50+ hours to get good at it, talk about short attention spans. now, with nobuild, its just like any other game and its fundamentals. let me ask you, if a pubg player moved from pubg to fortnite, what do you think they would be better at? obviously no build because it already what their used too, and learning how to build would be even more detached from pubg than just pubg with cartoon graphic and slightly more movement mechanics. i hate it when this generation complains about games when i know full well it all on them.
companies are they way they are because they profit off what they make, if players didnt actually like the way modern gaming was shifting, than gaming companies would be going bankrupt by now, money speaks.
modern minecraft sucks because theyve been shown that adding trivial bs all the time is better than adding huge game changing updates as consistency and repetition beats creativity and risk taking.
modern fortnite sucks because players had such short attention spans they couldnt cope with people who were actually good at the game and bother to learn. so they went the safer less risky route by removing unique mechanics.
Zero build is a tool for both beginners and the best. When you play with beginners you can enjoy the fun of Fortnite without the worries of people building apartment complexes whenever you shoot at them. The thing is that in builds you dont have to be crazy at building, you just have to be smart with the stuff you know. Its enough to know a great double edit, some easy retakes and you have to have a understanding of peaks. With that, you can probably get to elite.

You no longer have to worry about get boxed and it's just raw combat. It still feels like fortnite, it's just a different way to play.

It's easy if the luck is on your side, Zero Build players wanna rely on luck more than skill
@ so then what do you say to the people who win all the time? They’re always lucky? Okay kid.
U can get sniped from a guy on top of Mount Everest
if you want to get better awareness you have to move around ruining your current position and cuz fortnite was originally made for builds it has a more open vibe so repositioning requires mobility that litteraly makes you teleport, in builds you cant really "ruin your position" cuz you can make a new position whereever you go I'll admit ZB obviously requires some skill but build is harder as you have to get used to building and editing not saying playing ZB is a bad thing if you aren't good at the game and just wanna play for fun its fine but just be ready to admit it is easier than build (btw this is an actual suggestion play valorant instead of fn if u wanna play ZB what makes fn fn is the creative element of building valorant is designed to match not building and has more natural cover things like COD and overwatch are also fine.)
like clix once said "fn is MADE FOR BUILDING if the person in front of you has decent aim and is pointing a sniper at you you cant really dodge it if their aim is actually good whereas in other game they give you more cover to block instead of dodging the shot" obviously this isnt exactly what clix said but the context and meaning are the same.

@@BoneyPCadvice that's why it's best to play smart and keep away from open areas as if you get spotted, it's run to safety before engaging or try to survive the battle. At least you can last a little longer than in COD warzone as you get killed before attempting to fight back.
@@bransolo9469 it just seems like most players just run away no matter where they are on the map I’ve fought people who camp in buildings, bushes and once they start to lose they use their escape button my idea is that if no one can build pushing everybody would be fun too if siphon was in zero build I’m pretty sure more people would play aggresive
@@BoneyPCadvice yep. That's definitely what many players do. Playing aggressive is the way to win sometimes but Playing it smart would be better as you need to use your mind on when to attack too.
Clearly the players that just runs away couldn't go aggressive if they are under attack. Especially if they jump in their cars and just leave without attempting to find a good spot to fight.
@@bransolo9469 exactly but idk if I would consider camping respectable though knowing when to take fight, rotate is perfectly understandable and all art of game sense but with this seasons meta it just feels so luck based you can’t do anything without a jet pack or those new iron man weapons just aiming for the player
People only call zero build easy is because its easy to learn movement and positioning as opposed to insane editing and building and piece control nonsense it takes less skill to get good at zero build, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy, it’s just different and easier to learn, in build all you really need is a shotgun and maybe a spray weapon and then the rest heals, zero build requires you to use your inventory slots well with a balanced load out of weapons and mobility
As for the more luck base ideology, your positioning is key in all situations, standing in the open picking your nose will get you beamed easily, you need to be shifting between cover and remain aware of your surroundings at all times, can’t do that? Get port-o-bunkers or more mobility items
repeatedly dealing with players cranking 5,000 90's and build an entire city in 0.03 milliseconds just because they saw me doesn't look like much fun to me
I feel ZB is based on constantly moving, with Builds you can easily build cover.
I would rather play Fortnite in real life with real guns than ever leave Zero Build. Zero Build for life!
It serves purposes for players who want to have a care free shoot out and just chill but if you wanna have challenge and skill you have battle royal dont fix whats not broke
Building in the regular mode is optional 💀 there was no point of this
No cover? The trees behind him may have something to say about that
I haven’t played zero build for months I’m used to using builds to evade when I’m in danger I remember the last time I played zero builds I remember thinking to myself how exposed I was but I may give zero build another go at some point today.
Yeh friends forced me to play zerobuild for a while and i just dont enjoy it, and overshield is a pain to deal with especially if im in a 1v2 and im hitting a person for over 200
To me builds is fun just for the practice and if i die to someone whos better theres nothing wrong with that
zero build should be changed to the old building system (no turbo building)
First couple fights of the video they're just getting lucky it's all luck it's all about positioning in this game it's a chess game not checkers
yo bro what song is that at 6:50? it’s fire. good video by the way man!!
8:36 there's a whole hillside behind you which you could have used for cover before the storm closed in on you.
Ya zero build isn’t luck. It’s all about positioning
@@alexmercer-dj7doit's all about camping.
in zero build i only get the sweatiest players ever. in builds i get either the sweatiest or the most ass players
nah…build mode is for nerds/super sweats, zero build still has sweats but it’s at least playable for people who don’t spend 12 hours a day on Fortnite 😂
You don't need to spend 12 hours a day to get good you're just bad 🤣
I play zero build because 1, I'm bad at building. And 2, it's just more fun for me
Rome wasnt built in a day mfs when they see some kid immediately construct a city when they take 5 damage
If you get killed in Zero Build that’s a you probably
If you get killed in Build, you got out skilled by a sweat, a pro, or someone much better
Go ahead and build a giant tower and see what happens to you in a decent build lobby.
when someone says something like "they build a 5 star hotel" you know that person has literally zero idea what the fuck building is
I completely agree but I still think zero build is equal to builds and a game mode in its own right
@@McCrabby0 Equal? I disagree. The mode literally has lower skill ceiling because it has less mechanics. A game mode in its own right? Yes of course, it is still a Battle Royale shooter, and the best players there are still great in their own right.
@@IKhanmakeWAR2the skill ceiling in build mode is way too higher for newer players who don’t know how to build. You can’t expect everyone to set aside time to learn complex editing tricks and build mechanics when they could just play zero build and have fun either way. Honestly I’m a pro zero build player who just prefers not to learn how to build because I don’t have that much time in my day to day
@@19LimitArt "a pro zero build player"
That's a funny thing to say.
Fortnite build players after going in war,and realizing they can't build 😔
Zero Build players rage quitting and complaining until the devs add a mode for them 😔
Zero build makes the game feel more like a shooter where you need to run for cover and use the environment around you where build makes it feel like a little kids game building bridges and buildings like wtf .
Because it's different and not like every other BR mode like Call of Duty & Apex Legends? Don't deny the uniqueness just because you weren't good at it lmao
4:18 by not letting your opponent take the position of advantage while you rat with an open line of sight above your head
Zero build needs to take its ass back to warzone.
Both modes require different play styles.
In build if you get shot you can pop up a wall but in zb you cant do that so you have to use the movement to your advantage
I 100 percent garuntee a zero build player has more awarness, positioning and movement then a build player
You need Environmental and Positional Awareness in the regular mode too genius.
I get the experiment but its not a good one. I find people easier to kill in builds then no builds. The players in no builds have unbelievably good aim while build players can... edit fast ig? Just break the wall and they have a seizure
Bro doesn't anybody hold walls in your lobby?
My problem with builds is people literally phase through my walls and its frustrating
I feel like zero build allows more strategic play and gives you a higher chance to get wins and understand and appreciate the map. Builds requires far less skill as I wouldn’t consider cranking 90’s etc. as a skill.
yes but in zero build you can camp in bush and snipe
but in builds you actually have to have skill in out smarting the opponents with your builds
@@hardwhitesock sniping is actually far harder than you may think and bushes aren’t as available anymore on the current map. You also can’t really outsmart people with builds either as your strategies are the same (as a community).
No normal is way gaeder
@@RhyzVids sniping is so easy dude i hit clips on a daily
@@hardwhitesock well not everyone else can
i only play zero builds because i used to be a sweat in chapter 1. all the way up to season x i was on top of every build technique i could find. never again will i be a builds sweat, not going down that road again. and if you aren’t a builds sweat, good luck surviving in builds
I play ZB because I was sick of hitting an enemy out in the open just for them to build so i cant land any shots and because I'm not good at building and editing in general despite doing it fast... ill take playing and using cover and the environment as is then every player having cover wherever... also 50 overshield helps too.
tbh zero build could atleast have siphon so its not that easy to get pressed and killed by 2 people, or shooting in the back deals less damage
In normal if youre good at building but not as good with aim that will take you far enough but in zero you have to have good aim and good movement to shine
I think both of them are equally difficult. But builds is mechanically more difficult instead of mentally more difficult
Fencing is the most toxic location the entire game
You just need lots of skill when playing Zero Build. You also need to get the medalllions
Im sick of getting one shotted while I have 250 hp in zero build when I literally stand still for half a second to shoot another player. Id rather die to a double pump player 100 times than die once to a sniper player sitting there 150m away in his bush.
Zero build is way better then build mode
If you suck at the game yes
@ nah homie
Sorry I can't play Builds cause my Switch gets too laggy when 10 people are building at the same time, My bad.
I don't think builds takes no skill, I'm saying builds just takes a shit amount of training
ZB is easy but it isnt a bad thing it is just for people who want to play the game for fun but playing build is way more fun if you actually try to get better at it sacrificing a month of no ZB
How the f does this video only have 5 Likes als 180 clicks.
keep it up bro

Zero build takes more talent then building a bunch of walls to block bullets
I love builds even though I don’t build. Zero builds you get beamed by sweats. I’ll never play zero builds ever again.
The skyscrapers sweats would rather play the same 50 ppl n bots instead of acknowledging zero build saved fortnite
Builds is what made Fortnite popular in the first place 😂🤣 keep coping tho
I prefer zb over br but i’m working on my building so i can play both too and actually have both sets of skills to win in both game modes 😁
as a middle east player idk why i will queue for 10 minutes and get no game and the drop is everything
zero build is for people that are new to fortnite, don't want to build. bad at building, or good at building and want to reach unreal in zero build and build I am bad at building
what are talking about bro, zero build mode is harder than the world cup and global fncs, build mode takes literally zero skill, even a blind man can win an unreal ranked in build mode.
@@muhammad608this has to be satire
As someone who is pretty decent at building, I like zero build way more. Less stressful, has given me better aim, and has taught me how to utilize movement better than builds do
@@muhammad608 then why did you rage quit build mode and complain about how many times you died? 🤣
@@MajinUltraEgo build mode is for noobs and bots with zero skill, zero builds are for experts and pros, cuz zero builds takes brains to win
