Apple should add an option to hide the dynamic island for minutes or as long as the user wants. Apple please please add a button or feature that temporarily hides or stops the dynamic island
Dynamic Island is UI that was designed specifically to hide the notch at the top of your phone. In reality there is still a notch for sensors and your camera, so turning it off is kinda impossible.
@@gabesanderes4208 some Androids are starting to have the camera UNDER the screen where you can't even see it. The camera quality isn't there yet on the few phones that have done this but if Apple could perfect it, that would honestly be a massive thing for them if they could have a fully uninterrupted screen without losing the camera.
if i wanted anything on an iphone update, it would be split screens, ability to place widgets/apps anywhere on the homepage and ability to change the volume of a single app when multiple apps are playing sound/music

iOS needs a MAJOR overhaul visually. It feels way too similar to the past iterations. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and can't justify upgrading because the 15 pro max is literally just the same phone with a slightly different notch and a better camera. There's nothing there worth me shelling out $1500 for when I've already got it just in the 11 Pro Max's older body. What's sad is that everything here is something you can already do on Android. Apple feels like it has stagnated since the 10 came out. There's been huge leaps and bounds for Android in that time and yet Apple is making the same boring-ass candybar phones with incremental upgrades each year. The 14 to 15 was a joke. There's almost no difference besides the gimmicky titanium housing (that bends lmao). I'm seriously considering going to the Z Fold 6 next year despite being fully integrated into the Apple ecosystem with my Macbook Pro, iPad Pro, Watch, and Airpods. I want to be excited to use my phone again but I haven't felt that with an iPhone since I went from a 6S Plus to the 11 Pro Max... five years ago. I genuinely like Apple products but the lack of customization and being locked into how they want us to use their phones is starting to become unbearable. So unless iOS 18 saves the iPhone and turns it into something more customizable like it should have been for years now, I'm going to bite the bullet and go back to Android for the first time in about six years when I had the S9+.
If they made it like this, they could easily spike in sales more then they already are, but ofc apple has to be apple and be stupid for no reason at all
All theses 'big" features coming to apple but you still can't change the system font style nor enable an interactive lock for the lock screen wdgets...

I agree I just switched from my galaxy S22 ultra and I never used split screen. It seems like it would only be helpful on a folding device.
Picture-In-Picture mode works without TH-cam premium. Just swipe up while watching any video.
