I too saved many as sometimes they used to fall from their nests , they really act like humans , infact humans sometimes don’t take care of their babies the way birds do
There are truly lovely. Birds..Got a few in our garden...Seriously declining in Britain..Sad to think for years and years we took these little birds for granted, and now they are hardly anyway to be seen. It really saddens me. I noticed in the Summer time they ate soo many insects from our Garden. I hope their population start to perk up again..
I am aware of what invasive birds are (Google is still free for everyone). As for your concern, I can assure you that in according to our local wildlife control, House sparrows are not a threat in our area. If it were I would take actions. As for our small backyard, House sparrows and European Starlings are neither numerous nor invasive or annoying. When they raise babies, I observe that they catch all bad insects and worms, so we don't need to use any pesticides on plants. At last, it is fun.
The male's danger call is what my sparrow does every time she gets mad or frustrated at something, like remembering she can't fly, not getting a piece of my sandwich, etc...
If you want to enjoy some morning sweetness, put some seeds in balcony everyday as soon as you wake up or put it at night (but beware it will invite other insects) and make sure you put some water in summer for birds to drink... even if you put seeds in afternoon, this birds will come and sit in your baclony early morning for sip of water, i have upto 5 birds coming in morning; its nuisance on weekends but well pleasure is all mine... make sure you put water and change every day if possible or second day, especially in summer...
ThePonypie: What are people supposed to do about invasive bird species? The municipality where I live forbids me from shooting them and anything less hands-on (?) might get native species by accident (like poisoning or traps). Personally, I leave animal control up to those who are trained in it.
For all, who say they should be killed as they sometimes kill smaller birds to occupy nest box. I know nuthatch pair for almost three years, i enjoy feeding and watching them. In that spring i had watched as they fed their chicks. And one "good" May day hooded crow took one of chicks right out the nest. Crow had been scared away, but unfortunately injures were too serious and chick died. Other chicks successfully fledged few days later. Loss of baby of my favourite birds due to crow attack was so tragic for me, but i still against killing crows.
@@natbelhome brin is this wood debris when it is disintegrating, and you say bed when the floor or other surface is used to support something; the floor has a wood debris cover.
Well, Nat, your naturalist friend forgot to not two important traits of invasives: First, they never begin as a huge hoard; there are normally a couple of pairs or so who begin breeding and then spread in an almost impossible way. Have you ever wondered why, despite the great distance between your house and the east coast (sparrow introduction point) there are sparrows in California? Second, there are no competitive barriers to invasive's domination; they can easily destroy native species.
Sorry, I mean forgot to "note." At any rate, your same arguments could have been made when sparrows and starlings began their destructive spread in the 19th century, but the proof is in the terrible consequences of introducing both pests to the U.S.
we used to have a lot of these and the English starlings in our backyard. I killed them off and started getting small blue birds, cardinals, and other song birds. So now every time i see them in my back yard they instantly get shot and fed to our cat
But how lazy they are! So lazy that they weren't even willing to spare any effort eating on their own even though they stood over the food. Badly educated birds. ;)
these birds are so sweet. i love them to bits
But plz don't bits them really 😟
Awesome, thank you for sharing the love for us sparrows. Some people don't like us because we are survivors. But we sparrows like all humans the same

imsoniceee when they are not newborns, they are able to eat like this. Same as pigeons.
Bro plz save birds give them food and protect them from radiation of cell phones ❤️
Just like Europeans in America. So invasive they went all the way to Afghanistan :D

The male has the red accents. It’s really easy to tell. :)
Check out what House Sparrows do to Purple Martins sometime. Bet they won't appear so cute after watching those videos....

The chick is sick with a fungus, see how it looks the color of the brin bed? Unlike the older bird feeding it.
what is brin bed? Google shows only beam bed.
@@natbelhome brin is this wood debris when it is disintegrating, and you say bed when the floor or other surface is used to support something; the floor has a wood debris cover.
Thank you.
I still don't see fungus... Babies are usually have lighter color.

Before you call them as invasive species, think what humans have done to our ecosystem.
Humans are the reason why these are an invasive species.
ThePonypie is correct.

Yes, I observed this with other birds as well.
Maybe, it is only looks like they are lazy. They just can not eat yet.
