A ball player only gets one first at bat in the MAJOR leagues. He was patient enough to go from 0-2 to 3-2. You could physically feel the magic building. It was just TOTAL JOY AND EXCITMENT!
Had the pleasure of watching & being around Christopher a lot last season while working with the Smokies. He is so very talented, but his true gift is his positivity and fun he brings to the game. He was always smiles, dancing pregame or in the dugout, and just generally a goofy dude, but man, can he clobber a baseball!

I can say with absolute certainty that the three seconds after he hit that ball...knowing he crushed it, watching the trajectory, hearing the crowd...was the best feeling this guy ever had up to this point.
I loved it! I love Christopher's energy and smile. Contreras's excitement and the cheers from the fans made it even more special. Wilson C. had a home run his first time up in 2016. What a special for this young. Keep it up and congrats!!!☺️
