Aaron Judge and Tyler Austin did it on the same day, back to back -- I'll go ahead and assume that's in Part 2 because leaving it out would be ... well, just plain nutty. :P
Daniel Nava's was more than just his first AB. It was the first pitch he saw, and his first swing. I remember watching it. Incredible. His folks were in the stands as well.
That should be impossible, right!? Beating the odds in talent just to get there in the first place and then beating the odds in probability on top of it. Just incredible! I would imagine food doesn’t even taste the same after that!
Nava’s was awesome, imagine coming up with the bases loaded in front of a packed crowd at Fenway as a Red Sock and absolutely obliterating one. That’s some childhood fantasy shit for sure.
I was at that game and saw Kouzmannoff hit that first pitch grand slam. Coincidentally, he hit it off of Edinson Volquez who was also making his big league debut that night. Early September 06, I believe. And it was the first time that had ever happened. Has happened once since.
I was at that Phillies Red Sox game at the 3:26 mark drove up to Fenway from Philly to see my 2 favorite teams go at it, my Phillies got CRUSHED that day... I did get to meet Mario Lopez that day at Fenway though so that was kinda cool LOL
I was hoping they wouldn't forget Nava. I remember Red Sox radio announcer Joe Castiglione interviewing Nava before that game, as he had just been called up. Joe told him to be sure and swing at your first pitch in the majors because it is the only first pitch you will ever get (or something like that). Nava made the most of it for sure. Go Red Sox!
What a Tribute. Do they give Pulitzers for deserved Credit? The Grand Slam First At Bat...WOW! How reluctant are the Stadium Fans know the circumstances give ball back volunteer and ones that won't no matter what? Awesome documentary here folks. 10...
What about Will Clark hitting against one of the best pitchers ever? His first at bat was against Nolan Ryan, and he launched it to help the Giants win in Houston. Epic!
I'll never forget my first and only homerun in high school. What a tremendous feeling. One can only imagine hitting a grand slam your first MLB at bat.
I was not very good at hitting, I was really good at shortstop and pitching so I rarely got an opportunity to hit. I usually got DH'd for. So when I hit my one and only homerun in high school I had no idea I did it. I stopped at 2nd because I wasn't sure where the ball was. The 3rd base coach had to yell at me "it went out"
@@mastod0n1 That's funny. Mine was the opposite. I watched as I trotted towards first begging for the ball to go over. My teammates gave me a hard time after saying if it hadn't left the park, I would have been thrown out at first. But they were happy for me nonetheless. Yea, I acted like I just hit a walkoff home run in the World Series. But hey, after 12 years of baseball, I was a tad excited.
You need to change the title The first clip is in the top 3rd inning so that’s definitely not first batter homerun Title should be mlb batter first home run
There's nothing like the beautiful homerun roar of the baseball crowd, especially after suffering through the wicked seething hisses and jeers of another Trump lynch mob
Here is part 2! th-cam.com/video/5ZkMYagZMXU/w-d-xo.html

I remember watching that game too. I was at a family friends party in Simsbury,CT that weekend.
@@dcfanchris Haha. I used to live in Avon. ;-)
And that was his only home run of the season. 188 plate appearances . . only the initial grand slam!
Nava’s was awesome, imagine coming up with the bases loaded in front of a packed crowd at Fenway as a Red Sock and absolutely obliterating one. That’s some childhood fantasy shit for sure.
the first big league pitch he ever saw too. He hit a grand slam the first time he ever faced a big league pitch.
My God that Expos game from 1999 talk about nostalgia! And even more for me as a Sox fan seeing that old NESN scoreboard
I love the first one. That pitch was right at his belt with nothing on it. He really wound up and walloped it!
So new to the majors he sprinted around the bases.
That clip aged well, bro is hitting 280 24 homers 10 years later🫡

Grandslam on 1st pitch is 1 billion lotto luck right there!
It’s not LUCK
@@I_love_spokehe had no control over bases being loaded genius
@@armedjoy3045 Who is “he”? It happened twice in this video. Are you saying one of them did have control?

Willson Contreras of the Cubs also hit a HR on his first AB.
Sick video. Plus angry bobby hill pic is awesome 😅
Someone needs to pitch an immaculate 1st inning, then hit a grand slam on the 1st pitch he sees... then retire.
Sadly, ball players like that don't have much imagination . . .
Youk nearly breaks the poor kid's neck congratulating him at 3:57
Will Clark's HR off of Nolan Ryan has got to be one of the best of all time.
That has to feel INCREDIBLE as a ballplayer after working so hard all your life just to GET to the Majors... but first at bat grand slams? Holy Cow!
Nice to see Matthews in the last clip. He came to the Angels and stunk it up. I’m still not over it. 😀
June 19, 2016 Willson Contreras’ first at bat (Cubs), first pitch. 2-out, two run HR
JASON HEYWARD!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Over 130 MLB players have hit a HR in their first at bat, but only two have ever hit a HR in their first two at bats.
I always remember Jason Heyward
Could you imagine riding that high? Not much can compete with it.
I miss Daniel Nava
Tsuny
What's more special Dick Stockton announced the slam, he was Boston Red Sox broadcaster 1974-1979.Channel 38.
1st pitch
I thought he was going to have a special career. Coming up at age 27, maybe a what if made it to the big leagues earlier. He could always hit though.
Wow - a Carl Pavano sighting at 2:18 !
Any old timers here remember Andy Kosco's homer against Sudden Sam Mcdowell (?)
You gotta have Tyler Austin and Aaron Judge, back to back, first MLB at bat Hrs and Marcus Thames first MLB pitch he saw, homered off Randy Johnson
It’s crazy how often this happens.
What about Will Clark? Didn’t he homer off of Nolan Ryan in the Astrodome?
Pauly D! man i had high hopes for him in StL. atleast whitesox were so bad they gave him some money this year
This is bogus as is part 2, but maybe it doesn't go back this far. For me, the greatest first at-bat home run was Will Clark's against Nolan Ryan!
Does it really count as a home run if it only goes in to the first row in Colorado
People it doesnt say All first at homeruns now does it. meaning he can make more if he wants to.
Tyler Austin and Aaron Judge hit back to back home runs in their first at bats. Why is that not included?
Seth Price it’ll be in part 2
Because no one cares
Maybe because he made the video not u, make ur own video and put who ever the fuck u want stop crying snowflake
Judging by the careers of these guys, hitting a first at bat homerun is a very bad omen.
Expos v. Redsox? early interleague play.
Jeremy Hermida hit a GW grand slam in his first AB.
"How can you not be romantic about baseball?" -BillyBeane
wheres austin and judge?
John Stahr part 2 is in the works
Where's Will Clark going yard against Nolan Ryan? 1st ab...
First pitch in first AB
Even fewer did it off of Nolan Ryan. Pretty sure there's just one guy in that club.
Will Clark hit a home run off of Nolan Ryan in his first major league at bat…
Will Clark off Nolan Ryan?
Where's Heyward
Brian Leyden stay tuned for part 2!!
austin and judge back to back?
Yea, WTF?! I'll bet this guy lives in Massachusetts.
ITALIAN926 Texas
Jmont '93 can you say part 2?
soldaderyan i’ll give you your part 2
WesleyAPEX thanks bud
No Starling Marte’s first at bat homer in against Dallas Keuchel?
Daniel Norris?
Adam Wainwright did it as well.
how could you leave out Will Clark against none other than Nolan Ryan???
QUIZ: Which Hall of Fame reliever homered in his first at bat, and never hit another?
Clyde Kaladi who?
Hoyt Wilhelm April 23,1952 Boston Braves @ NY Giants. Wilhelm was elected to the HoF in 1985.
Marte?
Funny that most of them never had much of a career in the bigs.
Why did no one care about the last one at all 💀bro's teammates acted like he struck out or sum
I wonder if the players ever watch this themselves.
What about willson contreras
Jason Huwe part 2 on the way
It’s funny how the announcer says that the players are virtually jumping up and down in the dugout. Nowadays, he would’ve said literally.😑
Chase Utley first at bat Grand Slam
Jose Offerman
Where’s Will the Thrill?
Jermaine Dye
Why’s the shit gotta be
Fourth
First pitch on first at bat is better.
America
You need to change the title
The first clip is in the top 3rd inning so that’s definitely not first batter homerun
Title should be mlb batter first home run
Not first batter.. first At Bat for a new Major League player
Galactic ur an actual idiot
GALACTIC WAR ever heard of pinch hitting?
WesleyAPEX yes I have but if you think your title implies that your an idiot what I said was straight
Like it or not your title and is wrong b
Austin Gonzalez please tell why I’m an idiot ? I’m not hating the video just implying that the title is wrong
im not watching rampage stop advertising damn
There's nothing like the beautiful homerun roar of the baseball crowd, especially after suffering through the wicked seething hisses and jeers of another Trump lynch mob
No self-respecting baseball person says Grand Slam Home Run. By definition, a grand slam is a home run. And you're an announcer. Shame on you.
👎🏻👎🏻
Marte?
Chase Utley first at bat Grand Slam
