I’m grateful for Todd helping us understand. I’ve heard it said, ”The best kept secret in the church is the Gospel” and there’s truth in that statement.
Every parent is invited into this covenant merely by being a parent and then sacrificing daily (or brought lower) by teaching, being example, helping, (begging), giving, hoping, and praying for their child (the cycle of giving light and law to each descendant birth).
Great presentation. Very insightful. However, I was hoping for some discussion on plural marriage. I know it’s an icky and uncomfortable topic, but I really wanted to hear Todd’s take on it.
I’m on board with the states of being piece. Do you think therefore it’s possible for those who aren’t members of the church explicitly and therefore participating in specific ordinances ie. temple, can come into the rest of the Lord, or progress in those states of being - seeing that those ordinances are about showing us that patterns of living rather than checking specific boxes?
24:30 You don't need to ask what to sacrifice, we have been told many times. It's a broken heart and a contrite spirit. The only thing that we have to offer is our will. So the question is, will you submit?
This scripture Jeremiah 31:31-33 is what I also try to show others. Our inward parts, out spirits enlightemed or burned with God...we are then one, its like a tatoo on our spirit written by God specifically to an individual who is seeking and reaching heavenward. A direct hand and hand participation with Jesus Christ to enable his purposes.
Adam and Eve were commanded to image God. In rebellion (aka transgression) they became agents unto themselves, as they didn't harken unto His counsel. Now, “the power is in [us]” to choose (via our agency) in faith to image God, to “bring to pass much righteousness;”
@@rocksteadyras also you can read what condescension means and it is not what was discussed here. CONDESCENSION, noun Voluntary descent from rank, dignity or just claims; relinquishment of strict right; submission to inferiors in granting requests or performing acts which strict justice does not require. Hence, courtesy. And the Angel explains it to Nephi, 1 Nephi 11:26-28
What does the Angel show Nephi after asking, "Knowest thou the condescension of God?" The angel shows Nephi the ministerings of the Lamb of God. Why does condescension mean ministering? Because this is the definition: Voluntary descent from rank, dignity or just claims; relinquishment of strict right; submission to inferiors in granting requests or performing acts which strict justice does not require. What you mean to say is descension not condescension.
Thank you for not saying plural marriage is the new and everlasting covenant. I just can't take one more member teaching falsehoods like that and do not have the Spirit when they speak. These things in this presentation however DO have the Spirit! (The one tiny thing you mentioned is the temple endowmment at the end. It is only a very small pattern. The fact that it has "cost" alone shows that it is not part of the gospel. Which, Im not sure if you were actually just trying to get us to know it is only a pattern, so when Christ comes directly to us HE will give us those ordinaces, not the temple made my man. (Isaiah 55:1)
Your wrong about the law of Moses. You should reference the scriptures as the Scripture apply them. Scriptures are of on private interpretation. You have to apply all Scripture to understand scriptures. When you say the law of Moses isn't a saving law your incorrect. It's only that Christ hadn't come yet. The law was and is always the same, the only difference is and a point in time it became solid. Nothing changed in the law besides the manner of sacrifice to be used. But you still sacrifice a lamb either way. Before or after it's the same thing.
This whole process in 27 - 33 minutes (or so), is one on one with God and the church ia not part of this. The power is in God through his Spirit, with the hand of Jesus Christ reaching out. The actual temple has nothing to do with it, as Christ comes down from His throne. (Which actually you seem to alude to whithout saying what I did here.)
47:33...yes, this is the Endowment. The endowment of power. Teach your family that we all can have this no matter a religion. Bring them the book of Mormon, then learn all that is in it. Joseph was the instrument to bring it to us. We can all be instruments. We repent and are baptized following Christ. Everything is about followinf Christ. Being dependent on a man (prophet or other human being) is not fully taking upon Christ's name. We must learn to be one with him. He is the new covenant, to bring us to the everlasting covenant of the father. When you are baptized, tell them they are bot baptizinf unto a prophet, unto a people unto a religion, but baptize to show God your honoring of His son. Keep the scriptures near and dear at all times by your side and in your heart. I love the Lord.
I would like to hear more about the statement you made that the true order of prayer is what the ascension of priesthood is about

Do you have to be married and sealed ? And both have to be super active?
The answer to entropy is love. God is love.
Love is the only principle that when magnified, can raise the tide for all.

Absolutely otherworldly. Thank you!
I loved this so much! ❤️☀️
Awesome and wonderful!! Thanks for feeding my soul

57 minutes , and this is why women have full access.
I’m not familiar with the reference to 2nd comforter. Is it the same as the Holy Spirit? Is there an episode that explains it?
Thanks!
Second comforter is Seeing Jesus Christ.

15:15 So, 100% onboard with MMP? That would explain your misinterpretation/usage of condescension.

More interpretations of men. Knowledge will be taken until you know nothing at all. We're about there.
