Man, I don't care what anybody says about Ganondorf being the "worst" character or being the lowest tier pick, he is a absolutely cool character. Looks cool, hits hard, and even if he don't win as much as the other characters, boy when he does it's absolutely hype!
Most Smash characters are designed to be fun more than tournament viable, I got the same feeling from characters like Ridley, Hero, Min Min and Byleth, they feel unique, and more often than not, true to source material (Ganondorf is an exception, but is a fun exception)

@@Clementineethe ganon lab god. He made this tech pretty popular. Easiest way to setup is when you can read neutral getup from ledge into shield. If you roll to ledge as ganon, it puts you in between your opp and the ledge and after like 3 frames of charging, there’s enough push off the shield from up smash that it ledge cancels the attack. Best follow up is usually side-b but you can dj aerial into a shield break as any aerial followed up from up smash is a guaranteed break. Also works if your opponent is shielding from a platform closest to the ledge which can lead into a dj u-air shield break.

Gannons design in this game is so amazing. Its like the OOT artwork made perfectly in 3D. I wish there was an actual Hero Of Time alternate costume for Link and not just the green tunic.

Down B, side A while rushing, up smash = 66% damage within 4 seconds. Also, against a rage player that you just knock out and rush towards you, go to the stage edge and just charge your warlock punch 😁 soooo satisfying
If you use up smash against someone’s shield at ledge, it can force you off the ledge and gives an opportunity for a flame choke, like the wizkick ledge cancel.
shield pushback will cancel the end lag on moves like usmash if it pushes them off the stage, yeah. It's not that practical to pull off since it requires you to be behind a shielding opponent very close to the ledge but it's always fun when it happens. If the opponent is close enough to the ledge, this is also a true shield break combo as ganondorf can hit the shield with bair while they're still in hit lag!
the 5:20 krool just had a knowledge check, ganondorf dies first and you can do a jump into up-b to get back to stage, it's even easier considering that you just hold the jump button until you gotta up-b
Watching Ganon dittos, I'm convinced its like viewing animal social systems and their dominance hierarchy. You must assert your dominance by being the better Ganon.
He still is. He doesn't have what it takes against characters that move faster, have projectiles, and have at least a few hard hitting moves. Platform fighters have too much focus on movement for characters like ganon to exist. If all of his moves were broken, then he might be higher tier. If they make another smash, they need to give him a projectile and he will be a solid mid tier.
