I’ve been rewatching this trailer so much, I’m so psyched for this! I have Alien and Aliens posters in my house, I’m a huge fan, and I love watching true fans watch this with awe 😊
I also don't wanna see other Romulus trailers. Enough! We are already intrigued and excited. I adore the Alien franchise, not just the first two films. All of them are great

Right?? Love it when people are still able to find new/interesting ways to inject creativity into a franchise like this. Reminds me of the Chestburster C-Section scene in "Prometheus". Completely subverted my expectations as we'd never seen someone survive being implanted like that until then!

The face huggers are different from any one we seen in life action. These face huggers look the the Queen Face Huggers from the Dark Horse comic “Alien: Earth Wars.” If you remember from Alien, when you see the crew fused to the wall. The Xeno was turning them into eggs to hatch out more Xenos. That his how they reproduces when there is no queen around. The asteroid looks like the coating for a Xeno hive. Big Chap?! I am so excited!
I remember the Director's Cut version of "Alien" when Ripley finds the egg chamber, but I was never fully sure if that was canon. Though like you said, I suppose the Dark Horse comics also help fill in a lot of the gaps there. I keep seeing commenters mention "Alien: Earth Wars" and "Big Chap" so I wouldn't be surprised if either comes full circle!
I think this is David's ship abandoned. Those are the spiders he brought on board. And that giant black rock that enters the ship for a second is Big Chap from part one falling in space. I hope it all comes full circle like that.
the ship wasn't crashing into the planet it was being damaged by the outer ring's rocks so maybe there will be a time limit before the ship inevitably crashes into the planet
It is exactly that. But it's kind of a spoiler dude. I know you probably mean well, but what if these dudes didn't want to know that information. It's a pretty big deal and reveal.
The practical effects look amazing, and they have succesfully made the Aliens look creapy and scary, look at the way the face hugers trying to get into the victims mouth, savage. Take a look at the Aliens bizzar hand movements, they are deliberately finding ways to make the practical effects look new. The Android was taken over before they leave to go to the ship and He was probably used to get the teens onto the ship.
What's up with these kids ???? This is not like stealing a car on a Saturday night, this is a abandoned ship that no one has any ideas of just what's going on with this ship ??? I mean no one question's that this could be a huge bad move??? Just to think that WHY is this ship up there and no one can get any word from the crew ??? Could have been a major problem with the fusion reactor??? Could there be a huge radiation leak ???
lol yes very true. My guess is that they're desperate and maybe scavengers? The risk of plundering a dangerous and abandoned ship may be worth it to them to travel off-world
True, but if done well then they can expand upon the lore and give us new (hopefully interesting) characters. Kinda like when "Rogue One" came out for Star Wars.
idk like... i get why ppl dont like prometheus and covenant but i also dont? cuz i personally find them to be really cool and still give me the same alien scifi horror.
The scene near the end with the xeno blood in zero g witout having a way to move through is properly is nightmare fuel and such a fresh idea.
OMFG I didn't even realize that was Xeno-BLOOD!! I love that idea, and that creative take on zero-g terror!
