This shit looks far better than the recent ones. It looks like an actual FILM, not a movie, but a film. The shots have purpose, the look and feel of everything is very reminiscent of the original two. I'm not even that big of an Alien fan, but this will make me watch it.

Álvarez directed the evil dead remake which also mainly used practical effects (which is one of the horror remakes). Raimi has no part of the production. Will say that yea, without him, this movie wouldn’t exist though.

How tf are you gonna say I watched Aliens and I thought “eh itt was okay”…Alien and Aliens are some of the best movies, ever.
I mean, despite it being a great movie, I'm also of the same opinion. Alien was a masterpiece, Aliens though... eh (in context with the first movie ofc, standalone its a banger). Alien brought us an unkillable, but escapable (if you're smart enough) monster, Aliens brought us annoying pests that can be gunned down just as fast as they can swarm on your squad, to me Aliens just contradicts the whole "perfect organism" and "you don't dare kill it" lines from the first movie.

@korruptedln2486 Bro, the premise of prey honestly made no sense. Yes, compared to other hunters, the one in prey isn't as advanced as the others, yet it lost to bows and arrows. I'd say the only good pred movies were the first, both avp and the one with the bad bloods. Hell I wouldn't go as far to say that the predators aren't interesting creatures cause they are, and by far my favorite but I just always felt like the sense of danger and horror was never really displayed well like they did for the aliens.
