    Great review… but I don’t need faster wheel, what I really need is range, so im so happy with my Sherman S, great speed, great suspension, and great range. Last time I get 80 miles going around 35 to 40mph, That's good than enough for me.

    I got my first violent speed wobble on my lynx after 500 miles. I was only going about 35. Stood up straight and stopped carving for a moment and I almost bit the dust! Very similar to the video that Chooch just posted the other day. He has way more skill than I do and it's still happened to him. Others are posting that they've had speed wobble crashes also. I've lowered my tire pressure a little bit and I'm going to lower my pedals a tiny bit also.

  • @naaspam1185
    @naaspam1185 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Nice review, but at 8:30 I think you have that the opposite way around. The higher the pedals and more in line with the axle they are, the easier it is to torque the wheel since you're pivoting at the axle. Putting the pedals lower down to below the axle will increase the amount of force you need to put on the pedals to tilt the body forward and accelerate. Lower pedals increase rider stability as it lower center of gravity, and makes it easier to mount and dismount.

    • @naaspam1185
      @naaspam1185 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure why the Lynx has less lower end torque. Could just be software or maybe foot position. The greater wind effect is likely for two major reasons.
      First, the wheel itself is 2.2" taller, and has a larger surface area for the wind to blow on. However, the bigger impact is how high you're standing on the wheel. That's raising your center of gravity, making it easier for the wheel to tilt side to side, but also the higher pedals mean more of the overall weight is higher, and when the wind pushes on that weight, your upper body is acting like a much heavier lever on the pedals. Since the pedals are higher, when the wind blows the top of your body over, you're yanking the wheel to that side from a higher position, adding additional torque. It's like if you're trying to loosen a stuck bolt with a wrench. You add a breaker bar to the end of the wrench to add weight and leverage by torquing further from the pivot point. You're adding more torque with less effort... so wind's effort on your upper body will really impact the torque into the wheel.
      For higher speed street riding, it definitely wouldn't hurt to get the lower pedal hangers.

    • @Ronin_Ryder
      @Ronin_Ryder  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agree to disagree. Look at the schema i posted,especially the part with the levers. If im lower then i put more pressure, with a longer lever, on the wheel body when i lean than if i stand higher. The lower end torque is partly due to this. . Ill try the lower pedal hangers and confirm this soon. But if your center of gravity is higher as you mentioned, then it does add up as well. That's what i was explaining. Thanks for your feedback! 🙏

      @bobdebouwer7835 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@naaspam1185 It's simple it has a large diameter tire so it's difficult to get high torque. That's also why the Mten4 is quite strong even though it has only 1000 watt

    Definitely needs lower pedals ,wheel is way to fast to be sitting like a monster truck off the ground , .needs to be like a sports car lower to the ground . I could not imagine wobbles at 50 mph

    The plastics can be stronger than metal. He polymer on glocks are probably lighter cheaper and stronger than magnesium alloy. I’m still waiting 💩

      Glocks dont get hurdled down ashalt at highway speeds. For sure poly is worth looking into.
