    Just bought a 2016 luxury trim with low miles. Such a comfortable model and smooth ride. The interior and build quality reminds me of my 2000 Lexus GS I use to own.

    I own a 2010 Cadillac SRX since 2019 when it had 107k miles. 4 years to 147k miles since as of this writing, I only had to replace the struts and shocks along with the fuel pump, spark plugs, and crankshaft position sensor. They only costed me about $1800 in total combined.
    Cars can be reliable if you don't accelerate, and brake aggressively or simply don't skip oil changes when they are needed.

    18k miles and its Fallin apart !! My 2013 navigator has 250k miles and everything still works fine i doo keep close maintenance intervals every 6 months for everything that needs maintenance even doorlocks!!! Leather seats conditioned and aren't even cracked !!! Lincoln uses tight treaded carpets that are very easy to vacume !!. And DURABLE !!!! I do it all by my self I dont trust bodyshops they must up my paint and scratch my Chrome rims !!!. My cost per 6 months is $150.00 dls (OIL FILTER,MASS AIRFLOW FILTER, QUAKER STATE ULTIMATE OIL, LUCKAS INJECTOR CLEANER TREATMENT,MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR CLEANER,. ) SPARK PLUGS I CHANGE EVERY 60K MILES WHITCH COST $10.00 DLLS EACH. Free oil change? Maybe but when my mechanic moved on I went back to changing my own. By the time I make an appointment, drive to town and get some one to pick me up, I could have changed my oil six times. I figured out I tend to put oil changes off because they were a hassle. Now that GM engines grenade because of lifter problems, I'll change my own. I'm also considering moving on from buying Tahoes and Yukons for a TRX.

    How do you comparison Lexus LX570 vs Cadillac escalade 2017 platinum variant. Which is more better on reliability comfort as well as drive??

    • @rustbeltrobclassic2512
      @rustbeltrobclassic2512 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lexus is more reliable.. No one will ever argue that.. the LX570 uses that 5.7 Toyota, which is know for a million miles.. But even beyond that, is the interior quality and resale value. 200K miles on the toyota will still get you close to 30K in pristine condition.. Maintenance is cheaper on the Caddy.. Gas is cheaper on the Caddy, tech is better on the caddy.. But if you want longevity, you could likely buy a LX570 and die before it wears out..

    • @immitheguy

      @@rustbeltrobclassic2512 which one is more comfortable and has more plush interior??

    • @rustbeltrobclassic2512
      @rustbeltrobclassic2512 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@immitheguy Depends.. The Caddy's seats are nicer, but the lexus IMO had a better ride, that said after 100K miles the LX will get you home, where the caddy's comfy seats will be great for waiting on the tow truck.. The V8 in the GM's are notorious if equipped with the cylinder deactivation for having lifter failure and causing massive engine damage. You can circumvent that by buying the Tune kit to remove that function, but then you run the risk of premature oil pump failure. If you are looking to lease one, lease the caddy, buy the LX.

    • @ramaswamynarayanaswamy4806
      @ramaswamynarayanaswamy4806 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rustbeltrobclassic2512 Spend hundreds in gas for the LX570 as well. Would likely break my bank. You can choose what you wish. The air suspension can fail on the LX570 which can be just as costly as the MagnaRide on the Cadillac. Choose which you prefer.

    • @rustbeltrobclassic2512
      @rustbeltrobclassic2512 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ramaswamynarayanaswamy4806 i did end up buying the lexus, couldn't be happier, not a single issue yet, it is a little thirsty, but not as bad as i was expecting, averaging right around 19mpg which is fine for what it is.. No rattles, no squeaks, and the calming sensation of knowing it will last 500k troublefree miles is what makes the experience of owning it extremely satisfying.. Also, you just don't see many around.
