    Bro., those are massive Guns hommie. I was waiting for you to wrap a tape measure around them. You in good shape, keep it up and thanks for the video. Its very helpful and hopefully Adidas corrects the inconsistent measurement and work on their Quality Control issue as well.
    As a Guy who lifts weight, you earned my respect and subscription for your dedication to working out.

    I'm hesitant on buying an NHL jersey unless I can try it on in person. I'm 5'6 200lbs chest 49inches, I feel like XL 54 would be the go to, but the large bruins jersey fits aight too.

    Hey! Thanks for the info! Been hovering on a jersey for a while and it is the only one left, however, it is a size 52 as well (same measurements). I usually like baggier shirts, do you think it is possible to stretch them to make it more baggy? I cant find any info online on hockey jerseys specifically so….anything helps, thanks!

    Bro you’ve been so much with buying authentic nba jerseys. Now buying my first authentic nhl jersey I could tell the sizing would be different when I bought a Swingman and authentic NBA. We’re the same height and weight, I was also buying a size 54. I’m from Texas and I moved to Connecticut so I’m adjusting to the weather, would you have enough room to put a hoodie underneath the Coyotes jersey?

    Adidas hockey jersey sizing is something that has been royally pissing me off for years. When they took over they completely tossed away what old hockey jersey sizings even were. I used to wear a 52 give or take back in the CCM days. Jerseys have always fit boxy and a bit loose. That's the nature of hockey jerseys. I am 6'2" about 220lbs. I normally wear XL in most things like shirts and hoodies for length in sleeves and torso. Adidas in their infinite wisdom size these jerseys like dresses. More fashion and less like a hockey jersey. That being said they have the audacity to say in their sizing that these fit larger and suggest sizing down... if I went with what you'd expect from them... I'd get a 54... or size down to 52 per their suggestion. I tried a 52 on in store and it was laughable small. Like 4 inches hiked up my arm and stretched around my torso. Went with a 54 and it was alright... not exactly loose but it wasn't constricting. Fast forward to the primegreen change and they ran even a bit smaller in my experience. Suddenly 54s were fitting snugger... more like a long sleeve shirt and less like a hockey jersey. I now have to wear a size 56 to get these to have any kind of wiggle room in them. I go to hockey games and often wear a sweatshirt or hoodie under my jerseys. Could not do that with 54s. I also do have jerseys that are completely different like yours in your review. It's just a complete piss toss when you're ordering them online... I just always buy 56 now to avoid the risk of them being smaller... I can deal with slightly bigger if they somehow happen to run larger than normal. Also regarding the reverse retro 2.0s... in my experience the Penguins ones do run really small. Even the 56 I have is a very slender design. It fits but it's definitely not a 2XL size. Sorry for the rant. I just wanted to share my personal experience with Adidas sizing. I like their jerseys... but I hate their quality control. As always man, great video. I always enjoy your content!

    • @SharkForge29
      @SharkForge29 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@willfredtk No problem! The sizing is still all over the place. I have 54s in my collection that are larger than 56s. I have some 56s that feel like they're 60s. I can't win haha. I just stick to 56 as my norm because there have been times where the 54 was genuinely just way too small. I'd rather have it slightly bigger than too small. I noticed this the most with the Penguins reverse retro 2.0s... but then when I got my Penguins winter classic 56 it was MUCH bigger. I think you'll be just fine in most 54s. I still order 54s if they're an older climalite design or I find out from the community they run true to size.

      You got me worried now. I have a Penguins Adidas authentic 46, fits perfect. I wanted to get a RR 2.0 and was gonna order the same size. Any chance you could tell me the measurements on your RR 2.0 and size number so I can make a educated guess? Thanks

    • @SharkForge29
      @SharkForge29 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jeepzcb09 Just to be upfront, Adidas sizing is terribly inconsistent... they not only vary between jersey variants but they vary between generations they were made. I'm 6'3 around 220lbs. Most climalite jerseys of old I could get away with in 54 (XL). They were a little slim but that's all adidas jerseys. They fit more like dresses than they do old school hockey jerseys. More fashionwear-like. When they switched over to Primegreen it felt like everything got a wee bit smaller. 54s were on occasion too small in the chest... I decided to try 56... which is a XXL. I normally wear XL in most things so it was a bit off-putting knowing that I'm buying 2XL hockey jerseys which are supposed to be roomy to begin with. I started doing that and the chests of my jerseys felt SOO much better. almost like a legit hockey jersey. The lengths of the sleeves varied and they were a bit longer but a little longer was totally worth it having more room up in the chest. That being said... even though 56 became the new norm for me there were times 56s were just WAY too long and in rare instances almost too small. The Sharks RR 2.0 and the Penguins 56 winter classic jerseys in my collection are massive... I'd consider them almost a size 60. If 58 were a size these would be that. Too long in the sleeves and length. Maybe even a bit too wide in the chest. On the flipside, and I think this is where your concern comes in... the Penguins RR 2.0 was definitely smaller. I have maybe 6 Penguins RR 2.0 jerseys (don't judge me I just love that damn jersey lol) they all fit exactly the same. I actually love how they fit in 56 because the chest for me is just right and they're not as long in the sleeve/length.
      In a normal world I should be a size 54... and in older jerseys I'm really a size 52... Because of how slender and how inconsistent Adidas QC is... I size up to err on the side of caution. The Penguins RR 2.0 is a tough one because every jersey I've gotten has been on the smaller side. I don't know if that's just a size 56 issue or if that's how it is for all sizes across the board. If you could use my experience as a barometer... my size 56 primegreen RR 2.0 is smaller than my size 56 regular home pens. Mileage does vary for everyone tho.
      That being said, benhsports on ebay (he might go by Hockey Jerseys For You on there now) is a legendary guy and goes above and beyond for jersey collectors. I have purchased quite a bit from him. He is fully aware of the QC issues of adidas jerseys and more often than not in his sales listings he shows the measurements of the actual jersey on hand. I know he should still have some RR 2.0s for the Pens. Hit him up and you can see from there.
      Sorry its so wordy... jerseys aren't cheap but hockey fans are forever. Hope it helps! LETS GO PENS!

    Great vid man. Hoping you can answer my question: I have 2 Adidas Aeroready STL Blues jerseys, one away jersey and one Winter Classic. The away jersey fits me perfectly, whereas the WC fits me like a dress. I measured both jerseys and the WC sleeves are an inch longer! So my question is, are Adidas known for being inconsistent in their sizing? Or are WC jerseys known to run larger than home/away jerseys? I'm so confused and pretty disappointed that my beautiful WC is pretty much unwearable.
