Quality video bud , I thought I was the only one who has “ if it can go wrong … it will days “ sorry about your camera , nightmare , but your video top notch bud , I did giggle when you dropped the bream , you could see that was the last straw , great fishing , roll on next trip 🎣😊

The look on your face when the bream slips into the water, the last view you would have seen was the v of it's fin. Classic, we've all been there mate. Sorry about your camera but good video all the same. 😂👍

Me and my dad will have a go for one before the end of Jan there ! Worms and float I think will be the way to target them there. They are definitely in there !

@WestysAngling Managed a couple of outings to the river drop shotting and spinning but went on Sunday and the rivers were running so fast and so mucky it was a waste of time. Us soft southerners need all the conditions perfect lol

Hope your Camera gets sorted bud just one of them things. Great video like always. Decent fishery that and woman was lovely who helped show me the right way haha I ended up in dog kennels. Will be visiting it again in warmer weather for sure . Definitely big perch in number 3 like I said previously. I am currently using the cold weather to build up a new outfit of a centerpin and rod with quill floats going all old school ha so can’t wait for this year .
Thanks buddy ! It’s been replaced now the insurance where very good. I’m looking forward to the warmer months too, it’s been tough fishing this winter. Tougher than usual!
@@WestysAngling Ahh that’s good 👍 yes even tho not been out a great deal though winter I have done ok predator fishing but everything else has been very tough for sure .
You might want check out partridge lakes fishery it’s huge and if it’s crap at least you can get some hot food 👍 even have a tackle shop on site
Let's be honest, most of us have days like that..not necessarily with a camera, but things don't always go as planned. A couple of times I thought that you were going to sit on your phone.... keep up the good work.
It’s true that Stewart, they definitely don’t. That phone takes some abuse 😂 it’s probably got a sessions worth of groundbait stuck in the speakers and charging port !

There's a fishery I fish in stoke on trent call moorside they say there's a 29lb in there ( they say ) no proof and biggest I know about and have seen is 18lb there's always a story at fishery great watch as always 👍🏻 hope you have a great year come on the carp !!!!
Thanks Adam ! Yes you are right, maybe some are true but who would really ever know 😂 It seems in most mixed coarse fisheries the carp level out at around 18lb

Think weve all had days like this pal, 3 phones in 12 months for me and everytime i dropped em in the lake i was having the kind of day where if it could go wrong it did. Snapped pole 5th section, remote locking battery failure on car and couldnt open the bloody boot lid, wheel dropped of my trolley spilling my luggage everywhere.

That’s a nightmare Ste ! I nearly dropped mine in this exact day. It’s easily done. Well hopefully we all have a lucky 2023 with no issues 😂

I definitely get my fair share of crap John 😂 after breaking that camera I just wanted to throw it in the lake and pack up 😂 but as you know we just need to crack on. Do you mean a zig rig or something else ?

I have one, like yourself I don’t have the confidence in them. Never caught a fish on one . I think it’s just luck and getting the depths right 👌🏻
Gutted for you mate. These things happen, but it's annoying when they do. At least you caught a few, imagine if you blanked as well as breaking your camera!!!! Keep up the good work, hope to bump into you one of these days.
It is what it is buddy ! It’s all sorted now 😂 I will just have to be more careful 😬 I think I would have been getting a set of golf clubs if I had blanked also 😂 That would be Awesome, I’m sure you will at some point !!

Mostly the pink wafter, I got ide on the dead Maggot float fishing but it wasn’t recording 😂 the rest on pink wafters. Maggots are ok on the method feeder but they can hinder the self hooking aspect , you can band a bunch of dead maggots though 👌🏻🎣 works quite well !

I recently got a new method feeder and the little slot where you put the mainline through doesn’t fit my 12 lb mainline any tips to get it through

It’s fine Phil ! That’s what the channel is here for. Literally just a normal white loaf cheapest you can get, blend it up fine, you don’t need to add anything. Then seal it back up in an airtight bag!
Hi I got question about the rod rest and the arm, I know that you mention on one of your videos that you put in the description links but I can’t find it, my question is can I use them on any fishing chair or gotta be specific one to be able to attach the arm and rod rest

Feeder rods - Shimano speedmaster , specimen rods like in this video - greys prodigy TX 1.25lb test curve. Reels Shimano dl 6000, or daiwa crossfire 4000

Do you never fish rivers or natural venues?? Would deffo prefer those videos rather than pond chucking
I would Tom , but they take more time and effort both of which I don’t have at the moment. I work 6 days a week so to go fish these places and blank most weeks would be a waste of time and energy buddy ! There will be some river fishing at some point no doubt !
Which lake is best for targeting crucian and tench?
