I’m a grandmother and yes, balance can be done. It takes time & effort. (p.s. he was wrong for not speaking to his mom for a year.)😉

This is one episode that all the families are so genuine and real.. I also love that Rashad love Camisha enough to help her through her MS I believe they going to be great together...
I think the lady is an amazing grandma. As a parent he should want his mom to have a relationship with the ex. It gives him opportunity to know his kids are doing well when they don’t see him. That their grandmother would be connected all the time. 😊
The problem with that is that she didn't tell him she was seeing the kids.
So, the 2nd part you said doesn't make sense if she was hiding it from him.
Cause if that was the purpose, why didn't see tell him?
The mother is actually doing what she's suppose to do. She's being impartial. She's not choosing sides her only goal is her grandkids! You can't pick and choose! He wants his mother all up in his business on his side when he's losing but not in everyday things in his life!!!

Exactly! That's maturity. When you have children and grandchildren you learn to prioritize what is important. Regardless of what pettiness and drama you and an ex have, the children come first. The grandmother is making sure the children have a neutral safe space with her. At the end of the day, the mother is the mother and the father is the father of those children.
Not talking to your mother is a red flag

By going to he ex house to be with the kids she did, to keep it on a neutral field she should have had the ex bring the kids to her home, but the ex wouldn't do that because she wanted to keep the kids from their dad, so by her doing that , she took a side and i can understand why her son feels a way

My daughter is my daughter and she deserves love and care the sane way she cares for my grandsons. His mom is wrong and I can see why he didn't speak to her. It was better than calling her out on the sorry treatment.

I know these shows don’t tell it all but I heard him mention his ex was keeping the kids from him but they were at his mom’s house. With that little bit of info, it’s cruel to stop the mom and kids from spending time together because they’re going through a custody battle. It seems it would be in his best interest that she sees them to make sure they’re ok. Otherwise, no one sees them and he has no idea what’s going on with his kids.
I actually understand and back his mum. When my brothers had my nephews i literally told him he's no longer a priority anymore, they are. And letting thoae kids know that rhe father's side hasnt abandoned them even though they cant see their dad is a long term win!

Sounds like he tried she told him the grandkids were more important than her own child. That was wrong of her. He could have voiced the wrong doing of the ex but she was scared thenex would not let her see the kids. She was focused on that and not the full picture.

People are granted orders of protections when crimes are committed. There's 2 sides & there's the truth. No one put on this show what HE did that caused all this

Not always true. I know of a man whose whole life being ruined because he was being stalked by his ex and she kept convincing the police that he was assaulting her. She even tried to do the same thing to his parents. She eventually was put in jail. But only after he was jailed, lost his job, house, reputation! There's some awful women in this world.

The grandmother is not taking sides. Its unfair to try to force her to be mean or avoidant towards the ex when kids ate involved. Did he cheat and moe trying to marry the sidekick or was the relationship completely over. Appears they are moving quickly.

Interesting how grandma wants to cut off her son for 1st wife and grandkids but specifically stated she would not have a relationship with new wife's child. That's odd.
I think what she meant was that if she and her son were not able to reconcile, that would mean she would be allowed to see her new grandchild. It sounded kind of odd when she said it, but I listen to it again, it made more sense. She’s concerned about not being able to see the new grandchild.

I agree with the mom. She is grandma and what he is asking her to do is to diminish her relationship with the grandkids. If he realized that this would hurt his Children then he would think twice about making her choose. She should not get involved in the battle.
When Rashad's mother said that if she doesn't repair the relationship with him, she would not have a relationship with her prospective new grandchild if Rashad and Camisha had a baby . . . that threw me off!
Then when Rashad said he was hurt that his mom was spending time with her grandkids when he couldn't see his kids (even though he knew where his kids was and he could have driven to his mama's house to see his kids during the alleged 5 weeks he allegedly was kept way from his kids) is just foolishness. He wants to be the center of attention even if it is between him and his own kids. That threw me way off!
I agree if you can make amends .. I went through 7 losses in the same year and one thing I know for sure no one knows the next minute . So to talk things through especially with a mother is something that is filling the commandment of GOD

He has to understand that his mother is really the key to making sure his kids are good by staying out of the drama.. if she don’t stay out of it she could be in the position of not seeing the kids.. now who would be hurt behind this!! The kids!! It’s not about the grown people and there mess it’s about the kids… so I totally agree.. my son knows I love him but it’s about my grandkids and that they won’t be affected by grown people’s mess..

Camisha making her entire marriage centered around her MS is a red flag.

She’s making sure that her disability doesn’t hinder their marriage and that he’s fully aware that she’ll need him. It’s part of her everyday life and if she does have children she’ll need him even more. It’s very wise of her to speak on it so much before marriage.

@@moniquemonique4372 It's a 1 Day at a Time for me I was diagnosed last year at the age of 44 turning 45 in a couple of weeks it was devastating because it totally derailed everything that I wanted to do far as mobility but I do still drive. i've go to physical therapy, but more than anything I go to therapy for my mental health.
So happy he and his mom made up❤

She did kinda take a side. If you see a wrong, speak on it. Sometimes I can hear it better coming from someone's else. The baby mother thinks she is right if his mom don't think what she is doing is wrong.

These are good families coming together.
This is one of the first episodes where I supported the couple. I think the are a good match.
Let's talk about that filed order of protection. Was it granted or dismissed? Anyone can file for a temporary order (bitter baby momma, etc) but you have to go to court and prove your case to be granted an order of protection after the temporary one is filed.
This makeup is pretty on Tracy...nicer than the dark eye liner.
