Bears had us dead-to-rights.....as a lifelong Lions fan ive been on your side of the loss MANY MANY times. Bears are better than the record they have and should have beaten all 3 of us division foes. No shame in the Bears game today.
Agreed but respectfully they misuse or don’t use time outs and have major coaching issues on final drives . Not to mention the penalties at the end absolutely Caleb taking huge loss sacks when he could go 123 throw it away
as a lions fan, too, i wouldn't say they had us dead-to-rights. smith's late sack, second to last play of the game, changed everything. bears would've still needed a decent reception for yrds or a run, to get an easy FG. even then, there's no promise they would've hit the FG. also, i agree the bears are better then their record and their rookie QB showed a lot of heart in the second half - he put the game on his back and made wise decision's with his feet, to run the ball. it's the NFC North, best division in football. - JCVD
Caleb sounds like he doesn’t give a f about that and clearly he doesn’t realize how ridiculous that was. The worst clock management I’ve ever seen in my life.
I guarantee you he knows it was a screw up but as a QB hes taught to never point the finger or place blame on any of his team mates or coaches in public. I guarantee they are having different conversations behind closed doors though
Well now you can take that timeout home with you? How tf do assistants like these get head coach jobs is beyond me…at 30 second at 25 seconds at 20 seconds call the timeout justifying it is ridiculous

This is not the quarterback's fault. This is all on the head coach. The quarterback did not want to throw his coach under the bus, but I would. Aaron Rodgers would blame his coach. Guarantee!
As much as I hate Rodgers. He's smart enough to know there's only one move after that sack. 36 secs left you call the timeout right then. You only need 5 yards n to run the kicking team out. It's not a difficult thing to do if you watch football. QBs like Stafford. Mahomed. They'd have called the t o themselves after that sack. If they're coach didn't beatem to it.

Williams took too much changing the play at the line to take a deep shot. The plan was to run a short pass and then call a TO. He took a chance that’s fine but this isn’t on the coach. QB didn’t execute the plan.
Caleb should not be explaining the poor clock management of Eberfleus. Fleus cannot manage the final seconds of a game. We have seen it 3 times the last month or so. Guys a BUM. Glad my Colts got him out of the building.
IDK in this very press conference he said "13 seconds with no timeouts" was the reason for his audible. They had a timeout and they coulda completed a little 7 yard dump pass, called TO, and kicked the FG.
@@91ir07Exactly. I get that people already don’t like Eberflus which makes it easy to blame him for such a terrible blunder, but this seems like Williams fault all the way. He forgot they had a timeout and wasted time changing the play unnecessarily.
