- In this video, I'm simply making my BMW E46 M3 headlights darker by spraying plasti dip on the chromed out headlight parts. I absolutely love the darker contrast on the e46 and my headlights were kinda giving me a yellowish hue due to led chips reflection. This simple $6.00 can of plasti dip changed the whole look of the car.

Hey, it looks really nice but here’s the problem, you lost your high beam lights because they’re not going to shine with the same intensity with the chrome housing. But anyways for those of us doing only city driving, they’re hardly used. I like your garage, it’s so clean. Great job.
That’s correct, my high beams were terrible to begin with, but also helps me with living in Las Vegas, no lights needed 😅. Check out little later, I’m going to build new ones from scratch, both high and low beam will be projected. Thank you so much.

It’s oem, i just wrapped it with 3D dry carbon vinyl.

I went flat black with 3 coats. The ticket the plasti dip the easy is to take off in the future

Yeah, i can’t use my high beams, which i don’t need in Vegas anyways. Plasti dip so if i decide I’m tired of it i can peel it and go back to oem look.

I purchased black kidney grills a couple of years ago that do not fit well / need zip ties to make them tight. They still don't look as just right. Your grills apear to fit predict. Any recommendations on aftermarket black or carbon kidney grills that are a fit for a 2001 M3?

My kidney grills are oem, i just wrapped them with carbon fiber vinyl. Honestly the oem parts are the best, you can wrap it in flat black or you can use plasti dip on it. Plus it’s inexpensive.

Some of my stock chrome kidney grills clips broke when I removed them as the plastic was super old. I will plan to order some new oem ones and coat them.

Can I ask what halo lights you are using ?
They are the depo headlights, so it came with it. I’m not sure what they use. I can tell you that they are bright. But will be making my own double projector headlights with these.

Just be careful when peeling off the Plasti dip because when I peeled mine off it pulled off all the chrome paint
I messed up my interior trim with carbon vinyl wrap, it took of the clear on it. But on headlights i will be building new set with dual projectors since the one i have now are kinda dull in brightness.

Lol 😂 same. I got it on eBay. But they are actually going bad, i think my projectors are burnt, i kinda went from 35W hid to 55W hid and i might of screwed it up. However i will be getting oem replacement headlights from there as well h1 mini projector and will retro fit it my self. Will go with quad projectors.

@@AmelsGarage omg those are the ones I have now I thought they where like angle eyes mine are turning orange used to be blue aka white but now all I see is they are diming down lookin to replace them with outer rings to make it look better.
