  • Visiting Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, the first foreign leader to visit China since the Spring Festival, knows the vibrant Beijing of February, 2023 is completely different from the silent Beijing of February, 2020, when he came to show solidarity with China's fight against the pandemic and reassure Cambodians in China.
In this Leaders Talk exclusive, he talks to CGTN's Zou Yun about the objectives of the current visit and the significance of direct access to China's market for Cambodia. Cambodia's first expressway and other key infrastructure, built with Chinese assistance, have boosted development and shown why no other country can take China's place. He also talks about the similarities between Chinese President Xi Jinping's stance on corruption and Cambodia's, and the rise of Chinese language learning in Cambodia.

Truly China develops, is good for the world not only Cambodia but in many undeveloped countries as well, counting from Africa countries, Latin America that had been ignored in the past by the developed countries

All respect to PM Hun Sen. The man is very wise and thoughtful. Cambodia should be very proud of their leader. Too bad in the west we have clown-puppets owned and controlled by the greed and power of the for profit military industrial corporate complex, Wall Street and industry.

A respected leader who thinks of his country and people and not of his personal gain and that of the US and countries that are US lapdogs.

Wish more and more countries could work together like China and Cambodia. The world need to work together to help more people into middle class and solve international problems like climate change.
