The best way to destress for me is, definitely, exercise! Going for a run, walk in nature or just dance like crazy around my room does wonders for my well-being.
As for Better Help: there is quite a lot of controversy behind it, so people, please do some research before you end up being even worse off than you started!

Caution with BetterHelp - if you want help, you're better off seeking someone in your city locally. I've heard it is not a great service to use. To each their own, but be cautious. Look at other reviews before giving your $$

As someone who has had therapy for about seven years now (schizophrenic depressed person here), I'm so glad you talked about getting therapy in this video. There's definitely a stigma around it that shouldn't exist. Personally, I believe that everybody can benefit from therapy, regardless of their mental health state, as we all have learned thought processes that aren't necessarily healthy or normal, and beyond that, I get irritated when TH-camrs only mention things like meditation and self-care. Those things are good practices, but they don't get to the root of the problem the way a trained professional can. Love your channel, Lavendaire. You're a true joy.

I literally dropped everything to watch your video! I broke up with my ex this September. He hasn't really made my life easy. I made it clear that it's over and he isn't understanding and emails me every few days saying his life is miserable and that he feels..sick without me around. It's quite a huge stress right now. I'm hoping with time he will move on. I have University going on and other family issues so yeah, not in the best situation! Thank you for your video!

I’m a senior in high school and in my English class we have this thing called zen time where we spend 10 minutes a day exploring methods of destressing such as yoga, meditation, drawing/coloring, writing, or reading. It’s a quiet, device free, time that was created by my teacher because she said it broke her heart seeing her students have panic attacks over schoolwork and life. I personally love it

I thought this would just be the usual kind of stress management tips but you took it to a more deeper level, connecting the person to their soul and kind of confronting them to deal with the problem instead of stressing about it and doing nothing. Thank you for making this one it's so spot on in my life right now and I really need it. It's such an eye opener.

Thanks for the video! but please I'd like to make a differenciation between stress and anxiety since you mentioned it. Anxiety is not just feeling overwhelmed, stressed or even anxious. It is a mental pathology somehow unknown but generally used by all of us. As a person suffering from diagnosed anxiety for several years, I can say it is a difficult mental issue in which your system is at an alert state even though there might be no alert at all. Therefore, your nervous system creates physical symptoms (panic attacks, feeling lack of air during long periods of time, losing control over your mind - also called derealization) but those symptoms do not have a physical origin, but a psychological one. It entails more than what it is normally known and it is hard to go through and get over, but treatment and professional medical help are key to succeed and keep going. Thanks for reading, and much love 😍

Why does "being present" always shows beautiful places and nature in this kind of videos? Sometimes being present is cleaning your house, being at work or talking to your boss or being in the middle of something stressfull.. Walking through nature is the place where it is easy to be present.. now when you are living your life full of problems all you want is an escape .. The video makes it all seem so easy but it doesn't represent the reality. I loooove your videos, they really make me feel more calm, i think it's your voice. But when i look at the message, it doesn't really add many that people don't know already... and yet, i tell you, keep bringing more of this content, just make it more realistic

The video was so helpful! I'm currently in the process of writing my bachelor thesis while starting my master's degree and I just have so much work to to until May that I just want to hide under a rock. I tend to just paralyze of fear and procrastinate while beating myself up that I did nothing that day, definitely have to change that! The quote of Carnegie really resonates with me, I have to enjoy my life even though I'm stressed out like hell and I really really need to take actions.

Well this is good timing. I had to stay home from work today due to a stress triggered panic attack. Thank you. I felt really alone and isolated this morning.

I personally really struggle with #5 - detach from the outcome and trust the process! 😭😅But I’ve finally forced myself to start playing with GarageBand so I can dip my toe into music production and am determined not to fall into the “I really suck at this, I should give up” mentality!

I think I have unlining stress issues, I don't think I'm stressed but at the back of my mind I am stressing out. I have been having really bad eczema flare-ups on my face (never had it on my face before) in the past year. I think it is a mixture of leaky gut (sugarrrrr) & stress. I use my calm app but definitely need to get into it more, I am heading off travelling in a week around SEA and I want to be as stress-free and relaxed as possible. I love this video its really good!

If you don’t mind, I just want to add that prioritization also reduces stress. I really liked your advices of instead of anticipation, achieve the necessary task and pay attention to the process. Thanks,
