NO THEY AREN'T....LOL....they are Florida Sleeper Gobies
Those are called Fat Sleeper Gobies, native to Florida. While they are fairly common they are extremely slow growing and fairly rare at that size. I’ve been growing mine out in a 75 gallon for 2 years and it isn’t half that weight.

Both lufulo and Isaiah are correct, it’s called a jade sleeper goby.
THEY ARE JADE SLEEPING GOBIES AND LIVE IN BRACKISH PLEASE LIKE SO ZACH OR KELLIE CAN SEE THIS.

They do best in brackish but they can live in either full fresh or full salt

Actually its the black stripped goby found in south Florida and the amazon they are brackish and freshwater just extremely rare to find

Im assuming that shop was in the states but does anyone know exactly what store he was in? Im from Canada and the only thing far I can find in supermarkets are tilapia,trouts,catfish,Stribass and some gobys online. China and Japan probably have cooler stuff as well but what were the lucky odds of him finding those gobys at that particular store? thats something I dont see too often

Working in a fish store I did some research and found out that these fish are commonly known as The Stripped/Jade Sleeper Goby! Elongated Second Dorsal Fin is signs of a Male. May be aggressive but that's perfect for you. Likes to take cover under driftwood or structures. Hope all goes well and Remember ...

Yes these are Jade Goby for sure!! An absolute beauty when the aren't stressed and are in a nice happy environment they will get very colorful.

Jade goby the brighter colored one is the male and the darker one is a female
Once those get nice and comfortable in a good tank with some good food the colors will be POP IN cant wait to hopefully see them trive

I have 40 or so of those that are half that size and smaller. All started as surprises is my minnow trap in Cape Canaveral. Have loads of videos and photos.
They're native to FL (ive cought one before in the canal behind my house), theyre called Fat sleeper gobies, but ive never seen one that big.

It was cool the store sold them as pets because technically the health dept could fine the store for not selling the fish as food.

It's mistreatment when you put a bunch of random bettas in a pond.since most of them will fight to the death.
Domesitcated bettas don't exsit in the wild and are way more aggerrssive then wild bettas cuase they have been purposely bred to be more aggerrssive for fighting each other.so comparing the 2 is like comparing a cockfighting chicken to a junglefowl.
Also rice patties are way bigger then his pond.so fish can more easily get away from each other in the wild.

The High Priestess - Connecting the realms Its the circle of life. It’s not the best thing to just eat vegetables in our diet. Simply because we are omnivores meaning we eat MEAT and VEGETABLES. I get you can get protein without eating animals but it is simply not ideal for humans to just eat vegetables because or digestive systems were made to be eating meat and vegetables.

I have never felt so healthy since giving up meat, my skin is more plump and supple, l sleep better, l feel better! I grew up in a family if meat eaters, most died of cancer, l went in to hospital a year ago and had to have 90% of my stomach removed which contained a tumour the size of a small rock melon.
I ended up after that with a tumour removed from my breast and other places in my organs. I have lost 81.1lb, My complexion is glowing, before I quit meat l had dry skin, breakouts, blemishes and daily migraines and my energy levels were near non existent.
People have commented that l don’t look 61 years old.
If you are raised to believe that you have to eat a certain way, you won’t accept anything else because of the fear that you won’t have enough sustainable energy, but trust me you’ll have more! 🌹
Most vegans I met looked like walking corpses.
Also it's only been a year.most vegans will appear healthy till about year 4 when poor dietary choices hit them like a ton of bricks.if they make it past 4 they do fine but if they don't they should stop.

But jade gobys only get to be about 8 inches. And that was no 8 inch fish.
